Carmona Tapas & Grill in Reigate and Banstead

Went out with my girlfriend here for her birthday meal. Food was lovely and clearly fresh and well presented. Staff were very tentative, and food came out quickly. Would 100% recommend.

Thank you to the amazing team of warm & friendly staff at Carmona. The food was delicious & the service to a table of 7 people was excellent. A real treat. We will be back.

I’ve been coming here for years as have always loved the food ( especially the churros ) Unfortunately after my visit last night I won’t be returning for a long time due to the small portion sizes and the terrible dry churros. The staff were lovely and friendly, however we waited 40 mins for 3 extra tapas dishes, to come out ( this was our second order as the first order just didn’t fill us up at all) it eventually came out. We then ordered churros and I have to say I was so disappointed. They were dry and hard to eat and only had a tiny bit of sauce on the side. In the past the churros had been fresh and fluffy and with a thick sauce that was filled up to the top of the pot. There are other tapas restaurants local to Reigate and their tapas portions are big and filling so I was quite surprised returning to Carmona how much smaller the portions were here now comparing them to other places.

Had a great evening here. Tapas was all really good. Small but good wine list and lots of choose with food. Decent layout with booths and tables. I’ve rated 5* due to the overall experience and fantastic service. Julio was just brilliant - so authentic and genuine.

We come very often As the food is very good and tapas are authentic Spanish food and delicious. The staff is very friendly and we always feel very welcome.

First and last time we use this restaurant. We don't mind paying more, we've lived in Reigate and are used to Surrey pricing but this was a step too far - the portions were tiny, the menu was limited, the service was dreadful and we, overall, wished we had gone somewhere else.

When not closed due to covid restrictions I often visit this place. The food is delicious and the service is exactly what you want. Our waiter Julio was particularly attentive.

First time visiting with great service and some of the best tapas I’ve had. Great garden and ambience. Would recommend 10/10

We came in on Sunday, the staff was very lovely and attentive. Food was even better we had some prawns and calamares to start with then steaks that were cooked to perfection. Overall a great day out, will be coming back very soon :)

Food was well cooked traditional tapas. Little innovation and likely bought in. Watch out for the Mohitos. They don’t specify what measures are in their cocktails and we sent ours back as were tasteless and little sign of rum.

Had an absolutely amazing experience while there, the gentlemen who waited us was absolutely fabulous funny friendly and an all round great guy highly recommend going here for the service and the food

I'm really glad that we decided to come back to Carmona for a family dinner!! Everything was good as always, ordered steaks that where cooked to perfection and a mouthwatering flavor! The service was exceptional as always, wines a bit pricy but we will definetly come back!

Nice enough atmosphere and friendly staff. The outdoor seating ambience is overshadowed by the parking garage. The DJ thought/wished he was in Ibiza and wanted everyone to feel the same. Food was greasy and wine glasses were overfilled.

Awful. Arrived there at 12.15 - was seated in the garden area. Whole restaurant and garden was empty apart from one couple. We were given menus and then quite literally abandoned. We sat there for what felt like an eternity, no drink. No food. No staff. Sta listening to a couple next to us complaining to eachother about how long they had waited. After 30 mins, we got up and left, and found the only member of staff in a world of her own by the till, inside the empty restaraunt, totally oblivious to the FOUR customers that were there. Absolute joke. Was really looking forward to coming here and chose it especially as a treat for my daughter, if your looking for a good experience after lockdown, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

I was surprised to see some of the bad reviews below, particularly the previous reviewer who complained the tapas came with 'weird pesto stuff' I imagine this was the steak or chorizo with chimmichurri sauce which was absolutely excellent.We ordered around 10 tapas dishes and all were amazing, especially the churros at the end!Staff were all extremely pleasant and cocktails were also of an excellent quality, we can't wait to come again.

Booked a table for 12.30 didn't get drinks until 1 and no food until 2.30 - very very slow service and the food was just covered in this weird pesto stuff. Very disappointing as a first trip out after lockdown :(

Seems to me it all depends on what you order. I had the beef skewers and they were delightful and with a side of grilled vegetables excellent value for money. My friend had the tapas and was a bit underwhelmed by them. That said, they were not awful. We all did feel that wine was a bit pricey!The atmosphere was on the whole safe, the staff friendly. All i would say is only 1 of the staff was wearing their mask correctly. I understand masks aren't nice so maybe the restaurant should be investing in visors instead.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the weekend. The steaks were the best we’ve eaten in a long time - fantastic chef, thank you. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Enjoyed every minute will certainly return.

What a difference a few months can make! So despite our last review in lockdown times, I decided to give them one last chance as we love tapas and was so so disappointed with what we had received back then - fast forward few weeks and then BAM!!! From a 1 star to absolutely 10 stars! We had the steaks this time and with all the other items we ordered it’s obvious the management have taken on board what was written on trip advisor by similar bad experience and must have sacked their then chef and bought some kind of magician into the kitchen!! Honestly this was the best steak and tapas we have had.. ever! Really great to see that this place has listen. Floor staff can be better trained but the amazing food really made up for their flaws. Thank you CHEF for making our night ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Delicious Tapas though come prepared to pay over the odds prices. By contrast the mains look reasonably priced so maybe that’s by design.Service was fine but staff need to be trained that the mask needs to cover your nose. That and price was what made this a 3-star rather than 4-star rating. We will be back another timeto try the steaks though.

Not the worst tapas I’ve ever had but slightly disappointing. And that’s not even taking into account that they had ran out of meatballs! Everything was okay but just okay.

Hard to explain. The menu looks tasty and there's always a great atmosphere but from the two times we've been, we've felt quite underwhelmed with the food. Shame - we love our tapas but don't anticipate going back any time soon

I came here with my wife on a busy Saturday evening without a booking, not only were the staff super nice but they also did their best to find me a quick table which was all we needed.The food and service is amongst the best in Reigate. I was taken back to my trips in Barcelona. The steaks are amazing as are the tapas. I love the Jamon Iberico as well.Thanks for an awesome evening. This is my number one in Reigate from now on!

We visited on the eat out to help out scheme. I have since found myself thinking about the steak I had on a regular basis! We all tried different cuts and all rated what we had. The meat was to die for, so tasty and beautifully cooked. The service was spot on - professional, friendly and attentive - just what you’d want. I’m already planning another visit. The meat is clearly good quality, it’s not cheap but it’s very worth it - you definitely get what you pay for.

Had Carmona as a takeaway for daughters birthday - food was excellent, hot and well presented when I got home. As delicious as ever and staff were friendly and helpful. We especially like the sliced beef, prawns and croquetas.

Came here to commiserate on the day we were meant to be in Spain and it was lovely. The food is great, very authentic to local Spanish food and the service was brilliant! See you soon.

Great management from a very friendly staff and a very polite and attentive manager. sang happy birthday to my son with dimmed lights great meal nicely seasoned and fresh. It was an overall great experience highly recommend to anyone wanting something different with professional restaurant atmosphere. 5 stars!!!!!

Really recommend the service and fod is excellent. I have chicken skewers, partner had lamb chops and daughter choose from the tapas. Everything was wonderful and very tasty

We booked here as a family group of 4 as part of a special birthday celebration. We hadn’t been here before and we’re aware that things might be slightly different during the current situation and reading some recent disappointing reviews we were a bit apprehensive. However once we were there, there was absolutely nothing to be negative about at all. There is a sanitiser table for you to clean your hands on arrival, the restaurant is clean and laid out adequately for distancing and staff are wearing masks. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful and I liked the ambience. No complaints with service. The food was lovely steaks cooked as requested and tasted gorgeous. Sides were plentiful and fresh. We think the recent negative reviews may be for a takeaway service that the restaurant are providing but it doesn’t seem to be relevant to a dine in experience. Had a lovely evening, will return and would recommend.

My husband and I came here for the first time on a Wednesday evening to take advantage of the eat out to help out discount. We'd booked a table in advance at 7pm (usual rush hour) and was seated outside with a choice of tables very quickly. The service from the single waiter outside was impeccable and he had plenty of tables to serve. Ok prices are a tad high but with the £20 off it was much better. Tapas usually does become a little pricey as you're ordering lots of different dishes. Every plate we had was lovely, especially the black pudding and Gambas Al ajillio. I enjoyed it so much I booked a table two weeks later in the car on the way home.

This month we ordered a take out as a treat from the Reigate outlet for 5 of us and to give me a well needed break from cooking (from scratch) daily. We splurged £60 on a selection of dishes that were bland, sparse and far from expectation. I have photos to show what you get for £60+ if you'd like to know. Chips were stale, patas bravas just tasted of potato and tomato puree, Octopus £10.95 on the far right, Anchovies £5.90. Wow! Thanks! Tried to call to complain and nobody answered the phone after several attempts. Thanks for the night off cooking, the "I should've cooked again myself after all" element and the absolute disappointment experienced. Wasted chance of night off kitchen cooking. Gutted we wasted our monthly takeaway treat allowance for the whole family! Ugh!

We ate here on Monday night, having booked a table in advance. The restaurant was really hot - the air-con not working on the hottest day of the year so far! After 30 minutes sitting at our table with the staff ignoring us we eventually managed to get someone's attention and made a drinks order. About 5 minutes later we were offered a table outside which we took gladly to cool down a bit. It took another 1/2hr and 2 more requests to actually get our drinks, by which point we were just about to walk out. So we're an hour in and only just got drinks, haven't even ordered food yet! We explained all this to the waitress who apologised and assured us that the food would be quick, so we ordered and the food arrived in about 30mins which was fine. The waitress said that they had been surprised by how busy it was due to the government eat out scheme, but considering most people had booked and it's the second week it's been running, why would they be surprised?The food itself was really nice, hence 2 stars, but not worth the wait.

We attended this restaurant tonight as a group of 6 with a booked table, on arrival we stood in the doorway in front of a another couple, the couple in front of us looked like they had been waiting for a while. Everyone in the restaurant looked fed up and too hot because a rarely hot day in England and a lack of air conditioning. The people in the restaurant were all looking around for service and looked totally fed up. There was a member of bar staff stood opposite us pretending that she had not seen us queuing up to be seated. Eventually after around five minutes a very overworked looking waiter said “I’ll be with you soon” to the couple in front of us. We were stood behind them and as a group we all decided that first impressions count and being ignored at the door by members of staff can’t be any worse of a first impression.In the age of trip advisor and the informed customer, poor staff and service no longer cut it. We decided to walk away and went to a much better reviewed restaurant in Reigate where we were immediately seated and looked after immaculately, despite not having a booked table. I write this review for the benefit of the management, hire a front of house that cares... quickly. Fix the customer service and first impression or you will go under.

This is definitely our favourite restaurant in Reigate! So pleased it’s back open to eat in. Perfect meal last night, excellent service & got to sit in the garden too. Felt like we were on holiday. See you again soon!

The food was excellent, but the service poor and confused. Very good portions of authentic well-cooked food, but we were left for long periods of time with no attention. We asked the waiter for some tapas dishes “to start” but he then left before we could order the mains. We were then sat for ages with dirty dishes in front of us and when we finally attracted the waitress’s attention she looked confused when we wanted to order the mains. And by the way, we did not order much tapas - there was no way they could have thought that was our complete dinner. Some tables seemed to be drinking cocktails but no cocktail menu was presented. No dessert card was offered. Ceiling and window areas needed a good clean. So, food great, but the experience needs some work. We’ll go back but not more than once if the service isn’t sorted.

What a complete waste of money. Not really one to write reviews but this was not a good experience to say the least. Ordered delivery early June which initially was cancelled then accepted. When it did finally arrive it was different to what is described on their online menu. Tried to complain and got nowhere. Rude staff member and terrible chefs. Tomato ketchup instead of the proper Spanish tomato sauce. I had heard very good things about this place but, unfortunately, it was a complete let down.

We used to love coming to Carmona before the lockdown. We had always enjoyed the food and would make it our first choice when dining out. That being said, our recent delivery was absolutely awful. I don't know what happened as the food was not even remotely similar to what we have had or experienced previously. It was a complete let down and extremely disappointing. Don't know if it's changed hands but management need to get their act together as this level of awfulness is unacceptable. We understand that it's hard for everyone in these times but this is not an excuse to provide such low quality food. Will not bother again.

Terrible Terrible Terrible Thought I would treat the family to tapas for a change and I'm absolutely disgusted with this place. Seriously what was that? I'm in shock, if I had put my 5 year old into the kitchen he would have done a better job than their chef! Food was so cold and old and tasted off. Why would you send that out to a customer. I should have read their reviews before ordering. What a waste of money and time! Absolutely shockingly bad.

I went to this place a few times pre-lockdown and whilst the food is ok, the prices really rack up but the management is non -existant. They over charged me a bottle of wine on one occasion. They offered Prosecco on my GF's brithday and then put it on the bill!! No amount of calling will get your complaint heard. I emailed the receipt, called all hours, went in person - and the manager was downstairs, refused to come up and the waiter told me to "come back in an hour" !!! I left my number and they never called.Months later I tried to book. They took the booking, but had no table when I turned up saying they never received my call!!!!I gave up, stopped going for a few months and then tried take away in lock down - JOKE no one answers the phone! I finally got through and they asked me to call back. The phone was then on voicemail constantly......I gave up, not worth the hassle on any level and the food is average yet costly.

Ordered well in advance and given a delivery time for the food. Two minutes before the expiry of the delivery time a message is sent that they cannot complete the order with no explanation. No response to my complaint so in summary this is an establishment that cannot provide what it wants to sell and does not give a care about responding to its customers. In these times support local businesses but not this one ,as it just doesn’t give a fig.Judging by the other reviews this is not a one off problem ,so don’t join the list of disappointed and hungry reviewers and take your money somewhere thar cares.

I was really looking forward to a spanish feast with my grandchildren at home and was so embarrassed with what we received. Not one to complain but this was just terrible. It is by no means spanish food. There was no flavour in any of the dishes, we might as well have been chewing on cardboard! Avoid like the plague as shockingly bad and very expensive.

We had signed up for delivery and thought to give this restaurant a go considering we have not been going out. It was the worst possible choice we could have made. Each and every dish we ordered was stone cold, extremely bland and so sloppily made. It’s very expensive and not worth half the price of what we paid. Steer clear. You have been warned. Absolutely disgusting.

I ordered on deliveroo. Kept checking my order and tracking it. It arrived contactless in a EMERGENCY BLOOD DONATION BOX motorbike. The 2 mains were missing from the order that I had already paid for. When I called them they had a go at ME saying it was all my fault as I had missed their phone call to tell me. I had tracked and checked the order and it was delivered within 15 mins. They refused to apologise and refused to refund me for the side dishes ordered to go with the main. And I’m yet to be refunded for the missing food. Absolutely terrible attitude and service.

Was so looking forward to some tapas after 2 months of lockdown. Ordered a week in advance. Delivery scheduled between 19:15 and 19:45. Our first time using UberEats. At 19:44 we got a notification saying the restaurant couldn’t meet the order and it was cancelled. So disappointed. Called them but no answer. No idea if they’re doing delivery at all. Or if they just couldn’t do ours. They could have given us some notice. DON’T RISK IT!

Restaurant had to be booked, very busy. Tables too close together, not a good look. Food was very expensive compared to other Spanish restaurants that we have been at. Service a bit slow, drinks were a bit confusing. Especially if you wanted a soft drink. Every dish served had too much potato on it. Staff were however, polite and easy to talk to

Great food, cocktails and smiles.... A must visit for some holiday atmosphere and great food. A great typical Spainish restaurant feel with food and drink to match. Not cheap but not over the top given in Reigate, so a great night out everytime.

I really don’t want to tell anyone about this place because it’s tough enough finding a table in reigate on a Saturday night. Great food. Great staff. Loud and fun, not for your romantic liaison but for your belly and soul. Top tapas!

We had a wonderful, relaxed evening with friends at Carmona last night. The food is excellent, as are the super friendly staff. Really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

An interesting combination of Spanish and Argentine food. We had a great selection of Tapas for starters followed by good quality steaks. Th good points. The staff are really friendly and attentive. The food is really good and tasty. The bad points. The restaurant is really noisy. It may have been because there were a number of large parties in on the night that we visited but I suspect that the acoustics of the building are not good. The other issue I have is that for this place to be a genuine Tapas bar/restaurant I would have liked to have seen a good selection of wines and perhaps sherry being served by the glass. All things considered we really liked the place and hope to return. Let’s hope they take note of the points I’ve made

Looked at this place for ages, and decided to risk one of our few childless nights out on what we had seen!

I’ve been several times to Carmona and always will return as the food is fabulous. Such good flavours, nice range of tapas and wines.

The food is just as good as the tapas restaurants I visited in Spain! Fresh and absolutely delicious, good quality and portions. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the chorizo rioja and calamari were outstanding. I also highly recommend the burger and beef tapa. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Can't wait to go back for the third time to try more dishes and wines. Highly recommend!

Wow wow and wow!! Spain has landed in Reigate. I absolutely love a good tapas and was very happy to come here after a friend had recently been and was raving about it. Where has this place been all my life. An absolute gem of a find. I hear they have another branch in Wimbledon but I will stick with this one as provided such a amazing eating experience that we are happy to say it is now our favourite.

Had planned to come and try Carmona for a while and so chose here for New Years Eve. Absolutely amazing experience. The place was absolutely packed and was lucky to have our booking taken. We started with bubbly on arrival. We opted for a selection of tapas including pulpo, chorizo al vino, chorizo criollo, pimientos de padron, albondigas, provoleta, gambas and morcilla. Honestly can say it was the BEST tapas we have had! Even better than the ones we had anywhere in Spain. The flavours were absolutely divine and authentic. Seriously in LOVE with this place. For mains we all went for the steaks. Again cannot fault, really tasty and very good cuts of meat. Each was cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and welcoming and the party atmosphere was truly wonderful. Will be back very soon. Please keep up the good work Carmona team!! Hats off to the GREAT CHEFS!!! We want to take them home!! Thank you for an unforgettable night.

Fabulous meal! Slight error with booking as the online system allowed me to book a time when the restaurant would be closed. However the restaurant called and we moved the booking. The food was delicious. The olives as appetisers were the best I’ve ever! Service perfect. It’d be even better if the 24 hour marinated ribeye could be offered in other cuts of steaks but that’s just my preference. Great addition to Reigate and will definitely return!

Fantastic service and authentic food, excellent steak cooked to perfection. Good honest food at a reasonable prices.

Waited 25 minutes to be served upon arrival and restaurant was clearly understaffed. When food eventually arrived it was bland and over cooked, the fries were recycled and cold. Unfortunately did the typical British thing and didn't complain. Will not be returning to this place again.

A Christmas catch up, 8 of us in total. Not much choice if you are unable to eat gluten. However, the tapas looked good and the portion sizes were ample. Staff very helpful.

If you want to go for a night of Steak and good wine....then look no further. The food is excellent and the wines are gorgeous. Take your time and enjoy. We ordered 7 dishes over the course of the night and had 2 bottles of wine. Very chilled very relaxed and not pushy for the table. Great for a date or for a truly Steak group night out, couldn't recommend it enough.

The staff is nice and friendly. The food was really nice too. I had the steak and eggs for main followed by chocolate cake. Photos attached. I enjoyed the food overall.

But sadly it’s over priced for what you get. I resent paying £18 for a small carafe of sangria. The chorizo in red wine is always cold. Portions are very small and you constantly have to chase for service. Loos are disgusting. Ambiance is noisy. Disappointing.

We wanted to eat somewhere completely different, not the usual Thai, Indian or Italian so we thought we would try Tapas. We had not had a decent Tapas since last year when we went to a little village in the middle of nowhere in Spain.

We visited this newly opened restaurant before going to the theatre. Great décor and atmosphere with attentive and friendly service. The food was excellent too! Well definitely visit again and would recommend to everyone.

Fantastic food had one of the steak boards, each steak cooked to perfection, chips to die for, lovely atmosphere, our waitress Aneliese was a superb host, looked after myself and my daughter impeccably. Will definitely be returning

I visited here with a friend recently and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, we had a lot of seafood but there were plenty of options to choose from. The service was great, the waiting staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. What more could you want?!

Just had really good tapas and friendly service. A nice bar area for a drink before dinner, the tapas was really good and good size portions. We would definitely return.

Just had a wonderful meal at the newly opened Carmona in Guildford. Had the Huevos Rotas to start followed by the 4 Cuts of Steak to share. Delicious authentic Spanish flavours to start followed by the excellent cuts of steak cooked to perfection. My colleagues tried Tapas to start & all were excellent. Couldn’t believe this was only their 3rd night opening! In the immortal words of Arnie, “I’ll be back!” Well done all at the new Carmona!

Great food. Great service. Great wine. Great atmosphere. The tapas is very tasty, out waiter was friendly, attentive and helped us to choose our food and wine and the place has a nice buzz without having to shout conversations. Very impressive all round.

I believe this is fairly new tapas restaurant so having lived in Spain, had to try it out. Not disappointed at all. Lots of variety and meals to choose . I chose two individual tapas which were very different and quite delicious. All our party had different tastes so they all ordered something different and we "dipped" in to all. My only negative comment was that I thought as in a lot of restaurants, especially in Spain or on the Med and even restaurants in England, we would have got a free chocolate at end with our coffee! Just a suggestion.

Went here when it first opened and had an awful experience. How ever we decided to give it one last chance and WOW the service from Yuri was excellent and the food cooked by Raul was amazing could not fault a single thing we will definitely be going back and hopefully sooner rather than later.

Had a great night, food is authentic Spanish Tapas with the addition of Argentinian steaks. Everything is truly cooked fresh and you could tell, simply fantastic dishes, and we certainly had a fair share of the menu between the 4 of us! Service was brilliant. Having eaten at probably every restaurant in Reigate I can highly recommend you visit! We will certainly be making Carmona a regular haunt.

We visited here with my family and had a lovely evening... the tapas was very authentic (my husband is from Valencia) and great service! We were extremely hot in the main restaurant and moved outside with our wine which was lovely.... wished we had eaten outside to start with! Would 100% return if we are ever in this area again

3rd visit to Carmona. This time a Friday night dinner with my wife. The chorizo was delicious as were the croquetas. Yuri was very attentive and super helpful. Best tapas for miles. Looking forward to going back.

Sure, you’ll have to fly a little further (to Spain) to get the best tapas but this is really good. Certainly welcome in a town that, until recently, has been largely dominated by Italian cuisine. Everything tasted fresh & service was quick. Looking forward to going back.

We are Spanish and can judge tapas very well; this place serves best quality food and very very similar to the actual Spanish dishes. The service is also very good, polite and attentive. We have been 3 times already and always top good! Churros with dulce the leche are the best! The music is also authentic Spanish or Latina and the place is all new and well decorated. Love it!

It was a lovely sunny day and my daughter and I wanted to sit outside. The courtyard here was ideal, well spaced tables, shrubs and umbrellas against the sun.

Went tonight to celebrate my birthday. 8 of us in the party. Arrived at 7.45pm....at 8.15pm we’d only managed to get some water. Finally ordered drinks after one of our party spoke to the manager, and then we still waited another 15 mins for these to arrive and then we finally got to order food. We ordered tapas and then waited another 45mins for it to arrive. So it took nearly 1.5 hours after arriving to get our food. During the wait for food, not one waiter (albeit there are very few- and one person at the bar doing drinks) asked if we needed any drinks, no one came to apologise for the delay....we were left to just sit! The shame is that this could be such a lovely tapas and something that reigate is crying out for....if they got staff who are more attentive and interested in serving their customers v forgetting about them it could be a completely different place. My entire party said will not be returning as it has to be the worst dining experience we’ve ever experienced. We did complain to the manager and the response we got was that a large table ordered in front of us....personally this isn’t the clienteles issue, as a restaurant they should be able to cope with the covers they accept!! The manager himself looked fed up as we weren’t the only ones to complain tonight! I’d give this restaurant a miss sadly.

Turned up late in the evening. Food arrived quickly. Nailed a bottle of cava (which was surprisingly good) and left full and happy.

Went to have dinner here last night. The restaurant was empty apart from 3 people eating together at a table at the front of the restaurant. We were shown to a table right at the back where a door was wide open. I asked whether the door could be shut because it was so cold and was told no. So we left! Clearly they'd rather have an empty restaurant than comfortable customers!

We chose Carmona as a last minute option for Father’s Day. Table was booked for 5:45pm and the restaurant was quiet when we arrived, and not busy.

Exceptionally good variety and quality of tapas, together with attentive service from waiter Julio made this an evening to remember. The birthday boy was treated to complimentary liqueur and cake as well as a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday. Would highly recommend.

Eight of us went to Carmona on Saturday; the food was excellent, although I feel that it could have been hotter (there were a lot of people in the restaurant, so there was probably a lot of pressure in the kitchen. Staff were excellent, and there was a great buzz in the restaurant. We'll certainly go again!

We sampled the Tapas menu - food was sensational. We also sampled the Sangria - red, white and Cava. The Cava was by far our favourite! Definitely look forward to visiting again.

We dropped into Carmona tapas for lunch. I’m happy to recommend it. The tapas was good. We had chorizo slow baked in Rioja, aubergine and goats cheese with padron peppers and patatas bravas. The restaurant was quiet at lunchtime. The service was very nice.
