Carluccio's in Hillingdon

Went there to eat before our flight back home. We opted for the Minute Steak, Chicken Milanese and Kids Chicken Milanese. All 3 were satisfied as food was cooked perfectly. Highly Recommended Thanks From family Tanti

Food was awful. Kids lasagne was so crispy and burnt that I couldn't cut through it. Carbonara sauce was split and not pleasant to eat. Service was ok for main meal but we had to cancel dessert as took too long to bring out a scoop of ice cream and we need to get to our gate! At least the waiting staff were really friendly

Excellent service for a group of 16. We were seated together and everyone was so courteous. Definitely will be eating there again.

We used to eat here a lot pre covid but reading the reviews seems has gone downhill and sadly my recent experience wasn’t great. I ordered a pasta, thankfully without sauce as I might not have been aware of a 4inch black hair in the middle of my food! My hair is blonde. I sent it back and another dish arrived however I could see the kitchen staff puzzled at the hair in my food. No idea why as I should see they all had black hair sticking out of the hairnets. If you do this comp the glass of wine from the bill! Its just good practice/manners. Wont return.

Spacious Modern Restaurant with ok food. This was a late afternoon visit on a Sunday. The restaurant wasn't that busy so we had no problem finding a table. For main I chose the Tenderised and chargrilled minute steak, served pink. Served with rosemary & garlic roasted potatoes with rocket and Parmigiano-Reggiano £14.50. The presentation was good , cooked right and tasted nice. We had a side order of Rosemary & Garlic Roasted Potatoes. We chose a bottle of Castelbello Rosso £19.50. Which was ok and complimented the meal. The service was ok and friendly.

Terrible experience avoid at all costs Sides missing -ok mistakes happen no problem I asked if they could keep the chicken warm whilst I waited for the sides to be done , but they put the fish under hot lamps INCLUDING THE SALAD appalling When it adventurually returned along with the sides I’d originally ordered I refused , as salad was then warm from being under hot lights I was very polite but to top it off the so called manager had such a terrible attitude saying “we can get you a cold salad” & had a bad attitude as if the whole event was my fault I left without eating & will never return to any carluccios again totally unprofessional & appalling The fact they were pretty empty whilst other outlets busy should have been a sign They don’t deserve to be in business with such terrible managers

It's confusing how London is often held up as the foodie capital of the world but airside at terminal 4 this old slop is still being served. I half expected someone to shout 'OLIVER' when my food was ready but even a starving orphan wouldn't want more. Oily pasta, sweaty cheese .... yours for the bargain price of £50. As I type this I'm at Ko Samui airport, which is TINY but has more, quality dining at the same price you'd pay outside the airport. Next time I'll grab a Pret and save myself the time and expense. I recommend you do too.

I got the ravioli and it was a bowl of butter that was melted in the microwave. It made me feel nauseous as it was a bowl of oil. The same happened to my friend, all of the food was pre-heated and microwaved.

I would give it zero stars if I could. Food was awful. Carbonara just a mess, lasagna a stodgy lump, and a chicken avocado and bacon salad that actually lacked two or three advertised ingredients and had to be sent back. How is that even possible? The salad was a sludgey mess of vinaigrette and limp lettuce leaves otherwise. Unfortunately many other options for restaurants in T4 have closed since the pandemic, but I cannot emphasise strongly enough that you should avoid this place like the plague!

Was there back in January 2020 to send my son off and we had a quick drink and bite here but was served by an utterly rude staff hence made the whole experience very distressful as well as awful and we will never go back to this establishment again nor do we recommend it!

Served a microscopic breakfast consisted of a piece toast with two eggs, avocado and extra smoked salmon. It was very mediocre and I finished it with 3 bites. For this little pleasure and a cup of coffee I paid £10.90. The place is pleasant and the waiter was friendly but I am still hungry.

The staff were rude, rushing, arguing between themselves in front of customers, ignorant, made for a completely unenjoyable breakfast. Two separate customers actually left before ordering because they could tell it was a shambles, and I noticed two sets of complaints being made whilst sat there too. Breakfast itself was cold, over cooked poached eggs, toast that was probably toasted about 20 mins prior... I would avoid at all cost.

Flight delayed by Storm Ciara so popped into Carluccio's for sandwiches and wines. Enjoyable experience. Pleasant staff.

Carluccio will be turning in his grave to the sounds of disappointment and disgust from diners who eat in this restaurant which carries his name. The level of quality is quite shocking. I had the chicken liver pate which was flavourless, The bitter toast was the only thing which had any flavour at all but it was nasty flavour. Equally the chicken escalope did not taste of chicken, only the low grade vegetable oil it was cooked in. I didn't realise there was a better choice of places to eat air side but then again I did expect more from a restaurant which bears the celebrity name "Carluccio", who received the accolade of AA Lifetime Achievement Award, but failed on every level . . .. except for the polite but timid waiter who didn't dare to ask if everything was OK?Very depressing,

So as a tradition we always have a bite to eat at Carluccios before we fly,and it has always been a lovely experience. The food is always on point, the wine perfectly chilled.Not at this branch. First off I ordered the lamb pasta (which cost an exorbitant 16 pounds). it was undercooked, dry and chewy as hell. My wife's gnocchi was also tasteless. It was just such a bad experience. That cost 6 pounds. I am just glad that I have been to other branches and know that their standards are much higher than what we encountered. Would we go back? Yes. To this branch, unfortunately no

Carluccios leaves to be desired in the dishes and flavors, high prices and poor service. It took us over 30 minutes to take our order and another 30 to prepare it, and the restaurant was empty.

Great waitress Martina, super speedy, food was fab. All round good experience. Would recommend for a nice relaxing meal before flying.

I feel the restaurant has potential. The staff should be more relaxed. There is no need to run around like mad. The food should be prepared with love. This is not a fast food restaurant. I don’t feel the cooks should be pressured to prepare a dish under 5 mins. Doesn’t make sense. If passengers need to eat a fusion Italian dish and catch a flight at the same time they should enter airside with plenty of time to chill and relax. It’s common sense. Don’t be dumb.

Having loved the other Carluccio's in town, I wanted to pack some for the way back home. The place was not crowded at all but the service was lousy to say the least. The person at the counter seemed least bothered to help and sent me inside the restaurant. Once in, I was directed back to the same person at the counter!! When I asked him for the days special for takeaway, he had no idea and vanished again.I was so disappointed that I just left the place without ordering anything.

Husband and I wanted to have a meal before we flew off cos we rarely have meals onboard. Husband ordered mushroom risotto and I ordered spaghetti vongole which had always my all-time favorite!! I requested not to add wine on the pasta due to religion. The waitress was very understanding and were obliged to my request. My wife and I enjoyed a pre-flight breakfast here. The food was to a good standard and the service quick and professional. The restaurant area felt calm and spacious so exactly what we needed.

No enough time so order at the desk to go. slice of italian bread which tasted really great. but spicy, but okay, the capuccino was also very good. they really made an effort.

Carluccio's classic pastas never disappoint but this branch doesn't meet the usual Carluccio's standard that you'd expect from their others branches. Can't quite figure out why though.

We were waiting in a queue for a quire a while. After eventually being taken to a table most of the restaurant was empty and we were told that there is a 20-30min wait for food. We were not able to order immediately as we would ‘jump the queue’ according to the waiter.

Went in to grab some pasta, stayed in as atmosphere been nice, we was excellent served by a blonde girl, all question been solved quickly. The food was amazing, we both had pasta carbonarra,and it was just amazing. Not too pricy as I expected due to the locations. The most important we been told to wait approx 20mins and we got everything way before that. Absolutely recommended and we will be back there definitely.

Normally use another breakfast haunt in T4 but this time treated myself. Carluccio's Italian Restaurant....that does a good English style breakfast too. Well worth a visit :)

No se siente tan cómodo como sus otros restaurantes que he visto. No puedo señalarlo, pero la experiencia general simplemente no lo invita a quedarse y gastar dinero. El personal fue lo suficientemente amable, pero fue algo desatento e informal a veces hasta el punto de molestia ya que esperamos por el servicio. Nuestro desayuno con un toque italiano era bueno, pero no excelente.

This was at T4, but staff is relaxed and friendly despite their buzy routines. Portions are large but not really tasty. Only if you are really hungry it should be an option.

We ordered the lobster tail pasta, and was sorely disappointed with our food. There was no flavour whatsoever, not even basic seasoning like salt. While I don't expect spectacular food at the airport, a pasta that costs 17 pounds a plate should taste better than that. The manager was kind enough to change our order at that point (which is the only reason for the 2 stars here), and our second meal of seafood linguini was alright. However, we received cold service from the waiters after that, and an extremely sarcastic send off by one of them.

Little choice at Terminal 4 airside especially at 5 ish in the morning. We waited patiently for a supposed 5 minutes (actually 20 ) for the restaurant to open. The wait was not worth it. We were the first in and still waited fir someone to bother to serve us. Food took 20 minutes to arrive cold and swimming in olive oil . No question from staff if our food was ok. Called waiter over to complain was offered a replacement although did not take up offer as bound by time restraints. Coffee excellent and to be fair bill written off. Would have preferred an edible meal though as we ended up getting on our long haul very hungry. Would never visit even if I was starving!

Abbiamo ordinato degli arancini siciliani che non erano male. Due gnocchi con salsa e stracciatella (un po’ tirchi sulla stracciatella) che erano immangiabili, gli gnocchi erano ultra cotti e la salsa un po’ acida. Delle bruschettine con formaggio e aglio che erano passabili. Mia figlia ha mangiato gli spaghetti con le polpette e le sono piaciuti.

Locale abbastanza ampio, pulito. Ci hanno fatto accomodare subito. Ho provato penne al pomodoro (pasta cotta al dente ma con una consistenza diversa rispetto alla solita pasta, buono il condimento, sapori non troppo decisi ma piatto gradevole. Torta di mele non proprio friabile ma comunque leggera. Ok il caffè. Per un pasto veloce prima di prendere l’aereo può andare. Servizio veloce. Prezzi medi.

Came here for dinner before our flight. Was seated but then entirely ignored by the staff, no one brought us a menu and our table had no cutlery on. We had to go and find menus ourselves. Finally a server came and took our order. Drinks came relatively quickly but are rather overpriced.

Had some food before boarding. This is a fine dining place so a little over priced for who expects something normal to have before getting onto the plane.

Very good food and booze for an airport, late afternoon - they seemed to have run out of quite a lot but what was left was excellent, I like the chain and, the one at terminal 4 isn't a pale imitation of the real world restaurants, great service, quick delivery, not extortionate pricing and very very good coffee

Took forever to be served, had to ask numerous people only to be told it wasn't 'their' section. The waitress was miserable.

My mum and I stopped to eat here before our flight and we were very pleasantly surprised that it's a Coeliac UK accredited restaurant so we had absolutely no fear of getting any cross-contaminated food. They have a decent selection of gluten free food - I ordered a pasta carbonara with added chicken while my mum had a zucchini and ricotta salad with added chicken. The order came quickly and I was delighted that my pasta was according to the proper carbonara recipe from Italy. Both my mum's food and mine were delicious. In fact we would have licked our plates clean if we could. Our waiter, Sandon I believe was his name, was also a gem and we both highly recommend this restaurant for any coeliac/gluten intolerant diner looking for some excellent Italian food. Will definitely be back when I'm over in London again. Thank you for the wonderful service!

We arrived airside in T4 Heathrow knowing we would miss dinner at our hotel, no thanks to Air Malta and re-arranged flights at short notice. So we were looking forward to a meal of some description before boarding. There are several choices of cuisine to choose from but we went with Carluccios. We were not disappointed. The food was a delight. The wine was very good. Phillip was very attentive without being overbearing. Well worth a stop.

Had an evening meal in here and very happy. Noticed the staff dealing with an incredibly horrible American (who should be ashamed of himself) with quite a bit of grace!

Comimos el desayuno aquí y llegamos justo antes de las 7 de la mañana, así que no estaba muy concurrido. Café tardó 10 minutos en llegar y la comida de 20 minutos. Pedí el desayuno vegetariano. Por desgracia los huevos escalfados estaban cocidas (sin medio líquidos) y no había en la tostada así burter todo estaba muy seca y me pidieron algunos salsa holandesa en el lateral. Una pena, porque eso estaba delicioso.

Pasto veloce prima del volo.. stanco di una settimana di cucina inglese, che non è certamente famosa per la sua bontà, ho azzardato questo ristorante italiano.. purtroppo pessimo... pasta e fagioli con i fagioli completamente crudi e duri. Merluzzo fritto (tipo baccalà) servito immerso in una zuppa di lenticchie (offensivo) con sopra una crema indecifrabile. Verdure grigliate insapori, anzi, dal pessimo sapore. Il caffè l'ho visto passare, ed era la solita acqua sporca. Insomma, da evitare. Il personale è certamente gentile e disponibile, ma la cucina va rivista.. non credo che il cuoco sia mai stato in italia, altrimenti toglierebbe l'offensiva insegna "ristorante italiano"

Usted podría necesitar un toque de agua extra para el café, ya que era más como una muy grande que un Americano expreso.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Didn't give me a menu when they seated me, took 15 minutes to get one. Gave me the wrong food after a 30 minute wait. Took 20 minutes to pass me the bill. Ti capita di avere un aereo che parte all'alba. Ti capita che per la paura di perderlo ti presenti con troppo anticipo all'imbarco e ti domandi come impiegherai quel tempo.

First, my review refers to Carluccio's in Terminal 5, not Terminal 4. My lobster lasagne was delicious and arrived hot (not the usual luke-warm). Tomato & onion salad was not on the menu, but my request was provided with no problem, and a reasonable £4.50 charge. Service was prompt and polite and efficient. This was all FAR better than that provided by another chain in Terminal 3.

Comimos el desayuno aquí antes de un vuelo temprano por la mañana salida de T4. Optamos por el desayuno completo que incluye jugo y café incluido en el precio. La comida era excelente, con un toque italiano inglés. Todo estaba bien preparado, un cambio agradable del típico desayuno aeropuerto boliche. Mi primera vez en cualquier Carluccio's, sin duda busque esta cadena lejos de los aeropuertos.

El desayuno inglés es a menudo tan decepcionante en hoteles y restaurantes en el REINO UNIDO. Nunca trate las estaciones de servicio de la autopista son típicamente terrible. Parece que no se dan cuenta que tiene que ser muy caliente y recién hecha.

It was our first meal after we arrived in London in an early morning. We all had breakfast and it was a pleasant experience. The waitress was very friendly, service was quick. Food was good enough for a quick bite. I had the Carluccio's Breakfast Magnifica, everything was quite nice but the bread was a bit hard to chew/cut. My in-laws loved the latte!

Eu tinha uma grande expectativa sobre Londres e ela conseguiu superar todas. Nada melhor que me despedir da cidade comendo uma das melhores refeições que fizemos ali e a mais barata. E no aeroporto, coisa impensável no Brasil! Eu pedi pimentões amarelos recheados com ricota sobre um molho muito saboroso e suave. Meu irmão pediu o spathetti a carbonara, que estava muito saboroso. A sobremesa, um baba ao rum, estava divina. Enfim, foi uma experiência super válida e gratificante. Ótimo custo benefício.

Buon ristorante nella zona partenze al terzo piano dell'aeroporto heathrow terminal 5, dietro alla zona B dei check in. Il ristorante ha una discreta scelta di piatti, anche italiani. Ci sono stato un paio di volte sia all'arrivo che alla partenza, e mi sono trovato bene. Ottime anche le colazioni servite fino alle 12. Il servizio non è sempre il massimo, ma il personale è sufficientemente cortese. Lo consiglio se si hanno 30/45 minuti prima della partenza o appena arrivati.

Inicialmente nos recibió el gerente que intentó ayudarnos con nuestras necesidades, debido a que tenía una hija que tiene alergia grave. Nos mostró los menús y hablado, así que decidimos sentarnos y tener una cena antes de coger el vuelo. Este es el lugar donde el equipo superado mis expectativas. Yo y mi esposa quedamos asombrados al detalle extremo el director pasó para asegurarse de que nuestras necesidades hijas recibió para asegurarse que todo estaba sin gluten, huevo, lácteos y tuerca gratis. Incluso nuestro camarero Rui era extremadamente profesional y nos dimos cuenta de que estaba en un constante diálogo con el director para asegurarse de que todo fue sin problemas. El director tenía una insignia de nombre pero no pudo tomar su nombre. . . es un hombre joven. Normalmente mi hija no come fuera de casa debido a su alergia, pero después de la comida, ella era como cuando vamos a volver allí. Muchas gracias por cuidarnos y asegurarse de nuestras vacaciones empezó correctamente. Menú fantástico, muy amplia selección de platos italianos. Comida caliente y recién preparados. Para un restaurante aeropuerto los platos a un precio razonable.

Quería un aperitivo antes de embarcar en un vuelo a las 9:20 pm. El servicio era horrible, 2 camareras y 1 camarero estaba vagabundeando" supuestamente realizando algunos trabajos y parecía ocupado" y mirando a través de nosotros. Yo rápidamente un pedido sólo por mi hija macaroni y queso la camarera preguntó cuánto tardaría? Y se lo hacen rápido por favor. . Lo que me dieron en. volver era una respuesta muy grosera" cuando está listo lo obtendrás".

Me apareció en para una comida rápida, teniendo en cuenta que llegamos temprano para mi vuelo. . Cuando preguntó cuánto tiempo tardaría un plato de pasta, me dijeron aproximadamente 15 minutos. Pedí la pasta de salmón y un prosecco. El prosecco llegó rápidamente y en menos de 10 minutos un plato humeante de pasta delante de mí. El prosecco era fresco y frío, y la pasta con una pequeña ayuda del salmón ahumado estaba un poco insípido - extra de sal y queso mejorado el sabor. Sin embargo, llena el estómago vacío y no era tarde para mi vuelo.

A pesar de saber que estaba recibiendo comida en un vuelo de larga distancia, sin embargo, queríamos algo de buena comida para sentirme completa en buena comida. La comida era un poco rica para mí, las porciones de niños eran pequeñas, lo que significaba que ambos - mi 7 y 9 año de comer la mitad de mi comida. Had the lasagne it was great and came and went fast enough for me to catch my flight. Staff were nice and prices were reasonable. Also one of the only 'proper meal' places in terminal 4 I think.
