I usually order from pop pizza but the food was incredibly salty this time so we couldn't enjoy it and was wasted

I have updated my rating from 1 star to 5 stars. Keep up the excellent work. Below is the review I previously provided to the former short-term owners. This place has officially gone downhill since new management despite giving it the benefit of the doubt on three separate occasions. I have seen no improvements whatsoever. It is disheartening to observe that the staff lacks any passion or dedication to their jobs. This lack of commitment reflects in the abysmal quality of their pizza, which, to be completely honest, is truly terrible. My mother placed a order in person which was particularly distressing. When my mother requested to check her pizza while at the shop, a staff member denied her request without providing any valid reason. It is worth noting that every time we have ordered pizza from this establishment, it has consistently been burnt and tasteless. This recurring issue raises questions about the competence and attention to detail of their kitchen staff.

Ordered a pizza today (first time ) was apprehensive at fist, but when arrived was take back with how good it was, flavoursome, tasty & a good generous amount of fresh toppings. Plus the super fast delivery 10/10

I asked for chicken on my pizza and they put maggots in it instead. burger sauce tastes like curry. rude customer service and only nice to their own. Do NOT go here as i also saw rats on the counters

They can never seem to understand instruction. I order for delivery as for chilli sauce, they don’t send chilli sauce, I go in store and say no herbs on pizza, but there’s herbs on the pizza. They just need to be like the previous owners who listened to the customers individual needs

Food is good some staff need to be abit more polite when taking orders

There are so many delicious burgers, pizzas and very cheap prices. In one word, the food does not compare. I will tell everyone who lives in the Hayes area to come and eat here.

Terrible terrible experience, misleading information and misleading prices, this place needs to be reported, very unprofessional manager and unprofessional staff. They have different prices on their website and in person, when I called the manager to inform about this error she said that she’s not sorry and the website has nothing to do with the shop, I asked do you have a solution to compensate me as a customer who has just paid extra for less, she kept arguing with me back and forth even though I proceeded to tell her that I didn’t want to argue, I just want to be compensated, not in money but with the pizza that I should have got for the price I paid. Then she cut the phone off on me. During the phone call I asked multiple times if we could come to a middle ground, she gave none, there was no willingness to satisfy the customer in any way. Very disrespectful, very unprofessional, we have lived in the area for 10 years and this is how they treat their loyal customers. This is evidence of people who do business for money and not for the passion of people. Horrible experience.

Food was amazing ordered a takeaway but I paid for onion rings that I didn't get and paying over £40 for a takaway I'd expect all items to be included. But food was good.

Peri peri chickeh so bad it’s just Nando sauce

They mix halal and non halal meats together. If you order a halal pizza you’ll most likely get a non halal pizza. They also didn’t refund £23 we spent on our takeaway because they mixed the meats together.

I travel from Teddington to get Pizza Puzza from this place so it's not my local... for the last 10 years, pizzas from here are exceptional. very often, they taste as good if.noy slightly better than pizza hut... there is something about the flavour which sets these Pizza apart and it's in the cheese. high quality ingredients, freidnly but professional staff... clean looking premises and good pricing. not keen on the wings but cheesy garlic bread is good/ok. always cooked properly unlike pizza hut which is often an under done dripping mess. Try it.

I hadn't ordered from this place for a few years but I remember the chips always being really good so I placed an order on a whim. I don't know if they're under new management, but the staff is so unprofessional and rude now; the guy on the phone sounded like he wasn't concentrating at all and kept asking me to repeat things (for an order of a single portion of chips), then when I got there I was completely ignored for ages, even though there were no other customers and I could see my order bagged up and ready to go. When I did finally manage to flag someone down, she begrudgingly gave me my fries - and I soon wished she hadn't. I don't know how they managed to mess up frying some ready made frozen chips, but these were literally tough and soggy at the same time. It's like they had been prepared hours earlier, then drowned in watered-down sauce and microwaved; went straight in the bin. I'm honestly annoyed I spent £2.50 on this rubbish - AVOID.

After my mother ate a few fries, she noticed some melted dents in the foam box (picture attached). This is entirely unacceptable, as it indicates a serious lack of safety standards in their food preparation processes. When I brought this matter to the attention of a staff member, his response was utterly unsatisfactory. He simply stated that the dents were caused by hot oil, which raises doubts about the overall safety of their cooking methods. Moreover, while inhaling fumes from foam is known to be harmful to health, the fact that it could also affect the taste of the food is truly worrisome. The staff members are always on their mobile phones and hygiene is questionable.

Best place ever I honestly eat no other pizza except for POPs Pizza the sause is sooooo goood and tangy and I have been going here 15 years. 10/10 recommended they did mess the order up twice but it was okay as it still tasted amazing

Pop pizza is getting worse by day by day ... The pizza are so bad now while it's under new management... Food is not how it used to be . . Pizza are not tasty .. not sure what kind of ingredients they are using these days but it's really terrible taste... Hopefully the new owners will do something about it before they start losing more customers

I ordered a Pizza from here. The quality was not good at all. Pizza was very greasy and small. Old managment was more organised and there pizza was always nice and fresh. Its a shame. I will not be ordering from here anymore.

extremely rude and unprofessional, the new management team only care about money. We made a large order over the phone and was only prepared after we paid and got to the shop. These guys are also accepting only cash to avoid tax even though they have working card machines. Food is greasy and well overpriced for what it is. Awful customer service and cleanliness, workers do not wash their hands, avoid at all costs !!

Waoooo, i dont know what happened to this place!!!is the managment been changed ?but this is a joke! Ordered a pizza at 19:38, for collection!they said its gonna be ready in 20min, i went there 30mins later.. they said another 5-6mins and its done!finaly in a total of an hour later at 20:36 when i went back to chek whats going on, they told me that they dont have my order🤣, seriously a clown show! I been getting pizza's here, the last 5 years ive been ordering just from them since in my opinion they had the best pizza's in Hayes!prior left 5⭐️but from a while i noticed their pizzas are not the same like before, and their costumer service.... a joke!👎🏻so had to change my review, very disappointing...

Always order from here always left the happy call 130 time night and no answer and 1 hour and 45mins no food and had took money off me don't how I can never order from here again coming up to the two hour Mark. Still can't get hold of him on the phone. And have no pizza still. Right I am a regular customer of pops pizza ....I have seen the quality is gone down my wife likes spicy chicken wings call the restaurant the wings were burnt the excuse I got is the supplier is getting the wings from abroad thats why they have to cook twice....at the end I came to know they have change hands the original owner has gone ...even the regular delivery driver said to me the quality has gone done

absolutely shocking customer service, staff need to be trained to read each-others handwriting because they clearly can’t as they messed our simple order up. Phoned them to complain and they couldn’t handle the fact that they were at fault and therefore began swearing at us we were promised food within 30-45 mins and it tuned up over an hour late and wrong TRAIN YOUR STAFF PROPERLY POPS - DO NOT EAT FROM POPS!!

Absolutely terrible service. Rude and abusive language to customers. Order turned up 1 hour late and was incorrect. Guy who took our order couldn't understand what we ordered. Did not accept their mistakes and were not apologetic in any way No point having staff if they can't speak or understand english Went to the shop to sort out issue and the shop was so unhygienic. Very tasty pizza! Good selection of dishes. Reasonably priced. Quick delivery. Had my pizza delivered to the hotel by very polite delivery guy. Rang me on the way as requested so could collect at reception. Pizza was large, fresh, hot and delicious. Would defo recommend and reuse when I’m in the area again.

I found hair in pizza and feels like waste of money. NO taste at all and also pizza is really cold even I collect and eat in the car on same time. I think they serve me pizza made it earlier. Waste of money

Realised a few weeks later this place DOES NOT serve halal meat. Passable food. I ate the quarter pounder and chicken burger. Both were fresh and decent in size, slightly on the heavy side which is good. The chicken burger didn't have enough of a distinct taste just a standard fried chicken taste. The quarter pounder was nice. Not amazing but decent.

Ordered pizza margherita with ham. How hard can it be? What I got is a Margherita where "the ham is under the cheese"... Salty, chewing-gum like dough... Three grave mistakes which put this restaurant on my black list: 1. Ham UNDER the cheese.Whoever has ever tried a pizza knows that the ham goes ON TOP of the mozzarella 2. The cheese. NOT the mozzarella 3. The dough: it felt wrong at the first bite, which was the last. Threw it away I suggest to at least watch a video on YouTube on how to make a pizza. If you struggle to understand how to make it, at least you may learn how to present it. Never again.

Ordered as I was staying at a Heathrow Airport Hotel but didn't fancy their food. Decent takeaway style pizza with a couple of sides. Arrived on time, hot and tasty. They aren't traditional Italian style pizzas.

I have used Pop Pizza for many many years. I think they do the best pizza and burgers in the area.I am quite fussy and do not eat certain things but the staff at Pops will always aim to please and take off or add toppings that I want. Some places complain that the toppings are per the menu, they may take things off but charge for item added.

Bog standard pizza shop that also offers burgers. What can I say, if you want healthy food, then this is not the place. If you want heart attack food, then this is heaven.

Great pizza and good value. I ordered my pizza well-cooked (a request which usually gets ignored) and it was cooked to perfection. Each slice just firm enough to pick up with one hand without the toppings slopping everywhere. Great flavour and generous portions. Highly recommended!
