LISTEN TO ME! I wouldn’t order from this place at all, it is atrocious. £17 for curry goat portion so small I couldn’t believe my eyes I had to phone up to ask if they gave me the right size from when I asked for a large but I got told that they only do one size which was not said to me when I asked for large. The woman was acting super weird when being questioned about my food size she ended up putting the phone on the side and left me there for 5min to then put down the phone. I did look at the reviews but chose to ignore and not believe but I’m going to start believing in the reviews from now on! The food…. Was horrible!

Orderd soup and all they gave me was goat fat no meat at all . I hope it was worth it now you have a one star review and I got my refund on uber well done . Enjoy the negative reviews idiots

Got takeout Jerk Ribs and Salt Fish. Food was delicious and order was ready fast. 5/5 would get again

Looks good from the outside, but the ratings say it all. I ate here recently and was very disappointed. Firstly, they didn't acknowledge me as I waited to be served. I was waiting for at least 5 minutes before I got fed up and asked for service. I selected my dish and paid. I paid more than the average price for the food, so here's me expecting a more generous portion with explosive flavours, but the portion was less than the average portion and the flavours were bland or overpowering. The oxtail was more bone than anything, and the steam veg portion was minimal. The rice lacked flavour, as did the meat, and I was just really disappointed. Then, I decided to order a piece of jerk chicken from the drum outside. That came to the table, and it wasn't steaming like the other food. Tasted it, and it was cold. When I then told the young woman the chicken was cold, she then went on to lie to me and tell me it had just come off the drum from outside. I'm certain that did not just come off the drum from outside as it was cold and did not taste fresh. I wouldn't eat here again as there is nothing authentic about this shop or the food, and the young woman who lied to me did kill any hopes of a better rating. There was a young black guy in there who, if I weren't for him, then I would give this place the lowest rating possible. He made the experience enjoyable for me by asking me if the food was alrite and if I needed anything else and just generally a well-spoken, attentive, polite young man. Avoid this place if you can, as you will be greatly disappointed if you taste their so-called authentic food. Also, the price paid and the food of that low quality. Not again

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FOOD PLACE !!! To think me and my Caribbean partner are about to enjoy some good soul food to be completely dissatisfied!!!!! The food was BLAND !! The portion size is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE FOR THE PRICE !!! I believe the food is not fresh and has an off taste to it . For £17 we get 5 pieces of curry goat, an INCH of mac and cheese, rubbery and dry plantain and the rest just rice and peas and steamed veg. Don’t order from here . What a way to start the New Year smh 🤦🏽‍♀️

It’s honestly ridiculous the lack of communication this restaurant has not to mention the fact that the number doesn’t work. It’s a shame the food is nice because their customer service is appalling

Chicken, rice and peas and salad was very nice, but the fish in that sauce was watered down it had no taste. Next time just send the fried fish only with some onions and peppers dried.

Ordered for 17:15; called restaurant at 17:15 as there was no indication of dispatch. Advised order had just left. Then Just Eat website indicated had been delivered - took 3 calls to resolve.

Soup was a bit too watery but it came quickly

There was a hicc up with my delivery recently regarding time, but this was quickly rectified with an apology and a small discount and the next time I ordered I was offered a meal on them… I was very upset initially as I have been a few times but the customer service turned that around! I spoke with victor who was very kind helpful and professional and I’ve also had passing conversation with the manager a few times from here where he takes his time to speak with customers about their day he is also lovely! My Aunty and moms first time here he also gave them food testers for new dishes:) Any issues these two men especially are happy to help portions of food are really good aswell instead of food been confined to one container like most Carribean places it is separated by item I like this idea ! Delivery men are also friendly thanks !

mac & cheese was over cooked and just lacked flavour so we didn't eat it after initial taste. everything else was OK

Ordered the food at 5:30 was meant to be delivered between 6:20/640.. Food didn't turn up until 730. The mac and cheese was bland had no flavour at all, the dumpling was dry the only nice thing about it was the meat.. Unfortunately I will not order from here again.

Ordered collection option in error and rang up and the guy just sorted in pronto and paid delivery by cash. No fuss. 👍 The mutton soup was nice 😋

I ordered soup, and Oxtail with white rice along with a brown stew chicken with white rice. packaging was good, the Oxtail was very dark and sauce was very thick, wasn't like gravy at all, how ever the Oxtail was delicious, the white rice had some flecks of yellow in it, as if they used curry spoon to dish the rice, the soup was rather like dish water and not edible as looked like it hadn't been cleaned. not happy about this and won't be ordering again from here.

Top food and so many options to choose from.. love the curry goat, jerk chicken and the rice and peas os delicious, also the seamoss is good, some of the best food I’ve had in a while

I wanted to say the delivery was very late and arrived later than expected. Then we were missing items from the order and all meals which was disappointing and the quality of the food was subpar this time round.

Apart from being late some food was changed and some didnt come even after a phone call. Very disappointed

Compliments to chef Kim and T amazing skills my stew chicken was off the chart, auntie had chicken kebab , good food and even a good old fashion convo , who said we couldn't have caribbean dishes and kebab option-come to C'bean Twist eh!!! , we had a mix of cultured food and even chefs .....we felt at home ....and enjoy the company and the meal.. Fantastic.....do eat in , I promise it's a treat ! 😋

Avoid this restaurant at all costs food was not packed correctly causing food safety issues, food instructions completely ignored and the guy that claimed to be shazar doesn’t fully understand english or have any customer service at all, completely ignorant.

There were raw ingredients in it so i stopped eating halfway. Will be reporting to trading standards for food safety check.

I thought this place had got a new chef and improved since j stopped going there last time, after couple decent orders, but he must've left because the food is now terrible again. Apart from the time they tried passing stewing beef off as mutton for a while the goat soup has always been good. This time though. Raw potatoes and undercooked mutton . Literally raw potatoes. I was looking forward to that soup and I'm pissed off now. Avoid this place until they hire an actual chef again and stop letting whoever uncle to cook cause its bad. Very very bad

Food is tasteless, steam veg was such a disappointment undercooked white cabbage and nothing more no carrot or anything, mac and cheese is not seasoned its bland and drownded in the stew chicken gravy disappointed i have ate from herre before and the food was 10/10 but today it aint that .. .the coleslaw is good though .

It didn't state they didn't have any veg patties when I had already paid for it. I only found out when they delivered it that they had gave me fries instead. I had call them to see why this was and they person I spoke too said they called to to give me something else. When they hadn't rang me at all. They have other stated this minute that they have sold out of veg patties.

this place is a mess. Mac and Cheese was a block of mush with no flavour whatsoever. The curry goat was sloppy and the rice and peas was shockingly flavourless with no colour. The best thing about the order was the bread which was at least warm.

Food was nice and hot , ready to eat, however there was no coleslaw. Called the shop and i wasn't impressed with the solution they offered.

the food arrived within the time stated but I was very disappointed with the soup. It was watery with hardly any vegetables...I ordered a goat soup which had no goat meat just a meat bone, one half potato and 2 carrot slices, 2 tiny spinners and 1 small piece of yam...that's it..everything else was flavoured liquid. The price was not worth what was received.

I’m so disappointed, I’m Jamaican and I’m actually shocked at how dry and plain the food is. The dumpling should be nice and crispy but it’s soft on the outside. I was looking forward to eating the Mac and cheese but the Mac and cheese coming like it was cooked a week ago, then got put into a freezer and then warmed up and served for me. The mac and cheese has no flavour at all. Worse max and cheese I’ve ever tasted. Ontop of that I order Victoria cake they gave me some type of cheese cake. The only two things that is decent is the rice and peas and the fries. I paid £24 for all of this to be disappointed.

Absolutely terrible service. Missed of the Sorrel Juice which they delivered after I phoned the restaurant to tell them then as I took out the meals out of the other bag and checked my order I realised they didn't send my coleslaw. To miss out 2 items is really bad. Also come to people's delivery address no good park up by shops and call people expecting them to come and collect their order from some shop front or side ride.

Just puked everywhere, worst oxtail ever, bland and oily should be ashamed to call it food. chef do the world a favour just stop cooking give up its not your calling in life try working in amazon or something just stay away from food any food all food.
