I ordered food, and they never even delivered it and claimed it had been delivered i phoned multiple times for no one to answer i even went down to the shop to find out it was close before the closing time stated and have since again tried to contact and nobody answers, so no food and money been taken lol. disgusting

Food was horrible , defo not authentic at all , Ordered brown stew and was given drumsticks in brown water . Must of got there recipe from Emma from down the road .

Absolutely the worst attempt at Carribean cooking I have seen. I brought 3 meals, Dumplings and a drink totally to £42 & it was all inedible. The so called brown stew chicken was bland and the gravy looked and tasted like greasy water. The Mutton was tasteless & the steam veg well it wasn't steam veg at all. The meals were threw in the bin. If you have any taste buds I would avoid.

It was a minute or so late, usually arrives in good time, the food was still hot.

Have eaten from here before and always enjoyed the food. Sadly, tonight the food wasn’t great! The rice and peas tasted like they had been microwaved as the beans were hard and lost the shell. My curry goat was nice but wasn’t very hot. I ordered chicken curry which came and I was shooed what was sent - a chicken drumstick and a few pieces of chicken that looked like thigh and had bones! The curry sauce was vile and had lots of floating oil and was like warm. Sooooooo disappointed tonight!

Food was an hour late (delivery window was 3:50 - 4:10 and came at 4:50) with no update from the restaurant telling me my food would be delayed. Everything was cold and had to be heated up. Oxtail pieces were tiny and pretty much just bone - very very little meat. Rice and peas portion was good but oxtail portion was really small considering I paid £12 for it. Also forgot coleslaw in both meals. Very disappointing and won’t be ordering again.

Ordered oxtail with rice and peas and steamed veg and let me just say the worst oxtail I’ve ever had just bare bones a teaspoon of veg it was just utterly disappointing I waited over a hour for the food to come and it was just dead wouldn’t recommend don’t bother wasting your time and money the cheek to call yourself a caribbean restaurant jokers

Absolutely vile. Don’t know why it’s so difficult to find a decent Caribbean take away. Dumplings were so burnt they were inedible and Mac cheese was drier than the Sahara. Won’t be ordering from here again

dumplings were hard, cold,dry. had buts of blue tissue stuck to them. the meat in the curry was mainly chewy bits of fat. very disappointed as it's usually delicious!

I ordered 2 goat soup and one soup was fresh and the other soup was gone off. I’m never buying from any Caribbean cook shop again. I had to throw away both of the soups I brought.

The food was stunning. Full of flavour. Dumplings were perfect. Crunchy on outside but super soft inside. Only issue was that there is no warning of bones in the curry which was full of bones and I nearly choked twice. :-(

Tasty curry, hot crispy chips but rice and peas a little dry and wasn’t a fan my coleslaw being on top of the hot food which made it warm, coleslaw is supposed to be chilled so did prefer when it used to come in its own pot but would still order again

food arrived very late but it was still so hot and fresh - unfortunately wasn't a big fan of the flavours but partner throughly enjoyed it

Like OMGGGG taste buds on a whine and wiggle. The best by far highly recommended. Had oxtail jucy and tender and so the curry goat was not one but disappointed with any of the food. (chef hand kiss)

Would not recommend. Ordered for the first time today, did not pack the dumpling I paid for. Very small portion of jerk chicken, and a table spoon of steamed veg. Really unacceptable for £13 and £17 with delivery, won’t be ordering again.

They didn't indicate that the food was halal here on the website when I purchased it. I only found out upon delivery as they had inclosed a menu. I'm very disappointed as it would've been better to be more upfront about it. Other restaurants clearly say that they are halal so that us as customers, can decide whether to buy it or not. Truly very disappointed by this.

lamb chops chips and coleslaw was great , but the burgers and chios not so good, the burger and bun was rock hard and had to go in the bin

Definitely not Caribbean food, ribs were just fatty, chicken curry no flavour and bones in chicken, best thing was the mac and cheese, cost £23.00 never again. Hope the food improves as the reviews are not good.

It's my third time purchasing from this company. The restaurant itself looks very nice, modern and clean. The foods that I purchased was not so great, I purchased red peas soup and it smelt off. By the time I heated it up on the cooker whatsoever was in it curdled. The same thing with the goat soup. I called the company and returned the soup and the gentleman kindly replaced it. Unfortunately I left my replacement in the car by accident and didn't not get to taste my replacement, maybe it wasn't meant to be. I tried the goat soup again today, and the same thing happened. I called the company and the gentleman said the soup was cooked on Saturday 10 February 2024.. urm I thought it was fresh soup cooked on the day of purchase. We ordered two hake dinners and Saltfish and ackee dinner unseasoned very bland.We did not enjoy any of it. The veg especially the cabbage wasn't fully cooked. £37.00 not worth the money at all. On Friday 10 February 2024 a family member purchased sexy Juice , which had the taste of perfume and the stew chicken I didn't like at all £27.00 in the bin. The first time purchased anything from your business, I ordered stew peas soup on 9/2/24 it was delicious, I really enjoyed it.. Not sure if the company has changed the cook but the food isn't as tasty as it used to be. Sad to say we will no longer be supporting your business based on our experience. Nice food, took a while for delivery, but friendly staff

I was highly disappointed by the food. The soup today was so salty, it was uneatable. I’m surprised no one tasted that soup before selling it? Or they did and still sold it. This is the second time this has happened, not consecutively but second time is too many. The dumpling given was burnt and cleared over cooked and then reheated in the microwave. Me and my husband didn’t eat any of the food and so essentially our money went to waste. You guys need some sort of quality control check because

Food takes absolutely ages to be delivered, 2 hours I waited for a small order, on top of this the main thing I ordered wasn't there, fortunately the goat soup was delicious, but still very annoying and probably wouldn't order here

I'm not well, and i have no energy to cook, so I ordered the curry goat box and this was delicious and has pick up my strength, absolutely lovely, fresh, hot, good amount of gravy, tender meat, love the home made coleslaw, everything cooked to perfection. Always my favour soul food shop. 🙏🏻☝

The soup did not taste like soup, it was over powered with vinegar. The 1 piece of chicken was more bone than anything. I would not recommend the soup. The chicken pattie was nice but I’m guessing they didn’t make it hence why it tastes nice.

Delivery poor, over 1 hour wait. Some items were not freshly made or overcooked namely the plantain and macaroni cheese making it un-edible.

Food was somewhat late but not dramatically but the food was amazingly tasty and the lamb was tender so it was worth the wait ! They have these new containers also which you can eat it all together in the box . The food could improve with some vegetables for an extra 50p or something to make it upto 15 pound including delivery would be ideal and better , more variety .

This has to be, hands down, the best Caribbean place I've eaten from so far l and I've eaten from many Caribbean places such as Aunt Sally's, Blue Marlin, Dutch pot etc. Presentation is a 10, flavour is a 10 and friendly delivery is a 10. I would definitely recommend AAA****
