Delivery was late due to a previous customer not answering their door? This meant that my pizza was only Luke warm and soggy. Very disappointed.

Pizza is tasty, chips taste like they've been refried and their buffalo sauce is incredible, however they should be ashamed for charging nearly £4 for a tiny pot of it!!! You get 2 30ml pots for £4... absolutely insane!

This was very disappointing. The cheese pizza was just a wet pile of slop that tasted like teabags and the Garlic bread was vile and tasted funny it all went in the bin. Driver also only left one chips and came back 15 mins later with the other portion which was left in the bag. This is really disappointing as we used to enjoy your pizza but the last year it has gone down hill. Won't be coming back sorry :(

Food was lovely but it says green peppers on the choice of pizza . When pizza arrives they are red . Not a massive thing but I only like green peppers ion pizza and you should get what you pay for .

First time in awhile I was actually happy with my order after a gap. Although my ‘carbonara’ was a little sparse compared to previous portions it did fill me. My son ate the meatball pizza (tho I preferred it when the was half ball at least not these meatball ‘slice’s’ now as technically that’s a meatball slice not a ball as advertised) less for the same price of the toppings.I think they should be sold a advertised.still he loved it and ate so much of my pizza only got 1 slice with my pasta.

Food a little late (fine, it’s Friday night) but half the pizza completely bare… the other half had twice the amount of cheese / toppings! Yeah, clearly held vertically at some point, not horizontally, so the whole thing was a huge mess. Not the first time it has happened, but it’s not a regular occurrence. Just not ideal at the price.

i have been their customer for years, and after a while i ordered a couple of pizzas, it was amazing and very tasty like before , their cheese was quality and their staff was so friendly and nice.

The boxes were completely saturated in grease. The cheese pizza was completely inedible. Most of the order went in the bin. Very slimy, tasted of cheap ingredients. Would not order again.

This was once the goto place for pizza in Wallasey, we hadn't had pizza from here for a couple of years as we thought it had gone down, Just tried it again and had the worst excuse for a pizza ever! It was a sloppy greasy mess!

Can't really rate the atmosphere because we had a delivery, but if its anything like their food and service it is probably terrible. We ordered two different pizzas, a four cheese and a meat feast. They delivered two four cheese pizzas, which we all found inedible. After phoning to correct the order a meat offering arrived about 40 minutes later. It too was inedible, hardly any meat and like the previous effort the cheese didn't even taste like cheese. It looked the part but had no taste whatsoever and it sort of just fell off the base. And they didn't even come cut? Many moons ago Captain Tony's used to be a favourite of ours, but the quality of food they're dishing out now is so low I'd not even describe it as food.

Hands down best pizza I’ve ever had, the ricotta in the Chicago style pizza 10/10. All appeared fresh, food was hot. One thing to comment the sides of chips and starter mushrooms were ok. But the pizza alone deserved a 5/5 star. Will definitely order again.

After not having a Captain Tony's for the best part of 20 years I was looking forward to my food, and I have to say time has been good to CTs. Pizza was great, loaded with toppings (CTs famous 15") and was exactly what I was expecting. The only niggle was the buffalo wings, not so much buffalo, but sweet chilli with a dash of the hot stuff. All in all, everything was spot on, and I may not leave it another 20 years to order again.

Used to be the best around and am talking since the late 90’s. Steadily goin down hill the last few years, while the prices have steadily gone up!! Last night was the final nail in the coffin for me, Pizza was so bland, new cheese they are using is tasteless and the fries where basically burnt to a crisp!! My missus got a hot and spicy chicken burger, basically a frozen chicken burger from Iceland deep fried, her bun was hard and cold round the edges and her fries where just as burnt! I’ve always stayed loyal to cap tonies and argued it was great value for money compared to the likes of Dominoes or papa johns. Not anymore and not when it’s now costing nearly £40!! Very poor, a sad ending.

Despite being a regular customer, I was told they couldn't deliver to me because they were short staffed despite being only a couple of miles away by a jumped up rude staff member ,shall be taking my business elsewhere from now on ,avoid !!!

When the food arrived it was stone cold. The guy in the takeaway was rude and dismissive and said it’s just a £10 carbonara then when they re delivered I was told I should have just microwaved it to heat it up. Absolutely disgusting and terrible customer service.

Have been a customer for many years but the past couple I have noticed that the quality of products used deems to have dropped off. The latest change seems to be probably the most important ingredient - the cheese. This really hasn't worked and the taste is simply not good. First time I have not eaten what I have bought, it tasted bland and the cheese was almost creamy in texture. Might be a blip but my willingness to try again is not great.

Spag bol didn’t taste of anything, no taste at all and it was full of greasy water. Rest of the food was nice though!

Whoever thought it was ok to send this pizza out needs re-training. Topping was burnt to the point it was hard at the edges. Half went in the bin. Chips were ok I suppose.

O.k!.....where to begin...the last time we ordered a Captain Tony's was two years ago...was enjoyable! Tonight....OMG!....what an ABSOLUTE disgrace!...Whoever cooked this food tonight needs a good talking too! The pizza was very nice BUT the Carbonara was not only tasteless but looked like it had been HALF EATEN! And to add insult to injury....£30 for the two of them! Shame it's gone right down the nick. The meatballs and spaghetti were very good, and the chicken burger and chips were very good. Ham mushrooms and spaghetti tasted odd, the mushrooms tasted sort of metallic.

Forgot the chicken wings and didnt bring them to me after i spoke to the delivery driver , will not be ordering from here again for a long time. Fully expect a refund of £9.50!

Won't be ordering again off just eat i only really wanted buffalo wings n chip for myself then went on had a £20 min order and the buffalo wings had been increased to £9.50 were previously its ranged between £6-7+ shocking as it is in these times I ordered extras as I wanted the wings. When the delivery came I was made aware if I order direct it would be £10.99 min order and all food would be cheaper. Sorry captain Tony but price increase like that if im using just eat is unforgivable I too am struggling with the cost of living this was a rare takeaway.

We rang with an order on 19th September, the man on the phone was lovely. Placed our order of 2 Pizza's and ordered buffalo wings also. The man who turned out to be the chef informed us we could have the wings free due to order total. Absolutely brilliant customer service, beautiful, tasty, hot food delivered. Full stars in my opinion. Thankyou.

Paid a premium for a thin hand made base and got a frozen rubbish one again, even left a message for the hand made base, Very disappointed 😞
