Fantastic place to visit! Lovely fish and chips, busy night and they mixed my order, but one phonecall and they sent a delivery to make up for it even though I walked down, fantastic place!! Great food!!

The boneless box- chickens good but it’s 4 small slithers southern fried and the whole box is overloaded with chips. Think you’re paying basically for overpriced chips with a little bit of chicken on the side.pic is the amount of chips and I’ve already eaten a good few.

On 4 October 2023 at 6 30 spent £39 on 3 take away fish suppers and a veggie burger . They were disgusting . Chips were cold small and looked like the end of a batch greasy and wet too . The Fish on the other hand were a deep tan colour and dried up and thin - not chunky at all . In the whole a disgusting experience and over priced . I will never darken it’s door again .

Had to wait 55 minutes ,and be asked 3 times what my original order was. I did approach the counter after 55 minutes and then wait a further 20 mins on my order.Sorry didn't think it's customer responsibility to look after their own orders.Not the first time this has happened recently.

Haven't had a chippy in a while. But have to say service was great. Seems to have a great team working well together. Very nice atmosphere.And very pleasant staff. Loved are fish and chips. And my we mummy enjoyed her gujons.

We do enjoy the food here, it’s nice but not outstanding, but it’s the total lack of organisation in the shop that really puts me off!! They don’t have a dedicated “meet and greet” person taking orders and payment, and when they do take an order, that person disappears and starts doing other stuff instead of addressing the next person in the queue! That’s if you could call it a queue! It’s more like a bunch of random people standing around wondering who is actually next! On more than one occasion I have been standing waiting my turn (for several minutes!) and someone has walked straight in the door and been served ahead of me! Total shambles !!! They are painfully slow as well, so I would recommend phoning ahead with your order! In fact, until this lot get their act together and put some order into the shambles of a shop, I would recommend any of the other similar establishments in Larne!!

Really tasty chicken goujon meal with curry sauce, well priced and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Probably the best chippy in Larne. Good selection of food from fish to chicken and beef burgers. Good sized portions and high quality fresh ingredients. Situated close to the main road into Larne. If visiting the area I recommend getting your food here and driving down to a car park with a view of the sea, nothing beats eating a chippy looking out to sea!

Just had a cod & chip take away from Cape Cod. It was excellent. Best fish and chip I've had in a while. Highly recommend. Loved the pager idea to allow you to sit in your car or stand outside until your order is ready. Good thinking.

First class good value for ur money

Had a fish from here today. It was probably the greasiest piece of chip shop food I’ve ever had. It actually soaked through the double wrapping and the paper bag. What a shame as the fish inside the batter was thick, white and flakey but totally ruined by cooking.

Food very greasy also very expensive was in again last week just bought a portion of chips it was like eating cardboard gulls enjoyed them surely it's possible to get some decent potatoes.

Travel the whole way from carrickfergus just to get a fish supper was down on Tuesday it was beautiful as always best fish in larne and the staff are friendly also :)

This is a great chippy. They do some of the best fish and chicken in the town. Particularly the southern fried chicken snack boxes etc. Great pricing, short waits and great staff.

Massive fish. Light crispy batter. With chunky chips crispy. Just was in the area. Worth the trip back!

We arrived at the end of their service so the range was understandably limited but the service was outstanding and the food we ordered was cooked perfectly. The onion rings were spectacular as were the chicken strips and chicken burger. We'll be back. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Impressed!! Called to pick up collection earlier and discovered gravy was missing when we got home. Phoned up and literally 5 mins later one of the staff arrived up with the gravy. Called into this out of town Chippie. Looks bright and inviting. Plenty road side parking. Immaculately clean inside. Staff lack personality sadly. Order delivered fairly promptly. Staff don’t speak. Food greasy, chip portion small and certainly not for sharing. Disappointing, overpriced and not great.

used to get all the time from here when i lived there. i drive down every once in a while to get from here and its always lovely. last week drove down and walked in, there was only me in. there was someone cooking food and whoever else was in the back. i stood for a few minutes and coughed, no one spoke to me or came out, waited another few minutes, a girl came out from the back, looked at me, smiled, talked to the person cooking and walked back in the back. i stood longer and the same thing happened. i just turned and walked out. wont be back. no customer service skills. the girl or the person cooking could have asked if i was getting ok.

The food took a while, the southern fried chicken and onion rings were nice. The fish was dry, chips were bad and the sauces (pepper/gravy) were so salty we couldn't eat them.

This is in my opinion the best 'carry out' in Larne. All the food is cooked fresh and the portions are huge..They have a phone in and a delivery service as well.

chaos, communication between staff isn't great. Went into order and collect, 40 mins later I was told the chicken breast for the snack box was not put on at all, so I had to wait another ten minutes on food that really should be ready in 15 minutes or so. Every time I'm in it's crazy behind the counter there's no leadership, and food sits in the window and piles up until someone bags it up the place needs to be better organised. Really tasty grub which probably saves them a lot, currently waiting on a delivery 1 hr 15 mins

We usually get out of this chippy on a Friday for family dinner and we are never disappointed, the quality of food is superb and the place is spotless . They also do a delivery service but the wait can be quite long but this is to be expected as this chippy is popular oz of the excellent food . The spicey chicken burgers are absolutely lovely and recommended, the prices are reasonable and portion size good . If your going in to order your food be quick as it’s always extremely business around tea time but the wait is worth it. A 9 out of 10 👍👍👍

I have been a few times now and the service bur more importantly the quality of the food is really superb. decor is inviting as well , the place place is immaculate , Try it and find out for yourself.

Great chippie! Recommend placing your order by phone and then collecting it 15 mins later. The only downside is that there is limited parking outside.

Got 3 fish suppers here on one of the lovely evenings in July and ate it at Ballygally. Excellent fish and chips. Can’t say more!! Will definitely go back.

Only went because I was told it did the best fish and chips. Well I had a long wait for my fish and chips but looking forward to it. When I opened it the fish was not crispy it was wet and dead the chips had been sitting to long so don't know if I will ever be back. This was about 3 months ago.

I really love this place,it has to be the best chippy in East Antrim (at least).Try their Hawaiian burgers, they are just delicious.

We always get our chippie from here and it never disappoints. We went in one busy Friday night for food and had to wait which is nothing out of the ordinary and we didn't mind.One of the ladies behind the counter had been keeping an eye on all the orders and when we were waiting about 15-20 mins she apologised for our wait and ours was coming soon. To be honest we didn't mind as we know what a chippie is like at tea time any evening but it was great she noticed. She even gave us a large bottle of coke for free to apologise for the wait. Excellent customer service even though we didn't think it necessary but we weren't complaining! :) Always full portions and never stodgy. Great size of fish as well. Highly recommended.

We regularly use this chippy for tea on a Friday night , the place is nice and clean , the staff are very friendly as they are all local girls. The food is of good quality, chips are nice and they do a good range of chicken . The prices are reasonable and they also do a delivery service.
