Canton Palace in Liverpool

Food was cold, I appreciate the distance however only thing which was hot was the soup despite everything being packed in foil trays. Portion sizes for the price are shocking especially the king prawns. Fried rice is like boiled rice. Never ordered from here before and unfortunately won’t be ordering again.

Have ordered from the Canton Palace numerous times. The food is lovely, portions are a good size and the delivery people are friendly.

Quite possibly the worst takeaway I've ever had. The food was very dry, tasteless, and the crispy beef was rock hard. Chips were cold. Crispy noodles were vile. £70 wasted. Avoid if you want a decent meal.

Ordered 3 meals; chicken chow mien, lemon chicken and salt & pepper chicken pieces. The chicken chow mien and salt & pepper chicken pieces lacked any kind of flavour, salt & pepper might as well have been plain chicken. Lemon chicken was so sour it was inedible. Most of the food got thrown in the bin; I’m sorry but I won’t be ordering from here again!

Always a treat to visit here. We've been eating at the Canton for many years and the staff are all really friendly. The food is tasty, with the banquet great value for money.

Got a banquet and when the duck came it was literally burned when we complained they said it was crispy it was actually cremated 1st and last time in the canton palace plus staff’s attitude was really bad

Spent over £70 for 4 of us, prawn toast and sui meis were swimming in oil, satay skewers were not, BBQ ribs were bland and looked more like gravy than BBQ sauce. Main meals were passable, overall not a good experience

Food from Canton Palace is always nice. Delivery was early, which was great, and the delivery driver was friendly and polite.

Visité por primera vez esta pequeña joya de un restaurante en la Navidad pasada para una fiesta de Navidad y fue absolutamente fabuloso, así que este año he visitado en numerosas ocasiones con varios amigos y familiares y todo el mundo lo ha amado... . . lo que es genial 1 ) la ubicación es preciosa es una joyita escondida en una zona muy concurrida. 2 ) la decoración y el mobiliario se sienten como un restaurante chino original más antiguo 3 ) el personal es encantador - a menudo solo 2 personas esperando y gestionando pedidos de bebidas, pedidos de comida, servir y limpiar - esto hace que el lugar se sienta pero más personal y no tener personal de espera corriendo o entrometiéndose en las discusiones 4 ) la comida - el menú es selecto y claro no demasiado complicado como algunos y los platos son muy sabrosos y la comida es fresca 5 ) el precio - excelentes precios realistas & Iv siempre sintió Iv consiguió relación calidad-precio Sin duda volveré a visitar x

I ordered crispy seaweed which I order at every opportunity and unfortunately the chef served up some stale food that I believe had been nuked in the microwave. It was disgusting and embarrassing for the chef to serve such crap and charge £7. Would I go back?....never. There are 2 restaurants next door choose one of them.

This is a very friendly restaurant, with excellent food. It was a favourite of ours pre- Covid. The food and service are still just as good now.

This place was colection only, only realised this when the food was ready, I had to get an uber to pick it up which cost me £12 there and back. Should be separate places for colection only restaurants.

Unfortunately the meals that was delivered was all wrong. Tried contacting restaurant but could not speak to anyone. Decided to dish up what had been delivered, only to get a phone call informing us that we had the wrong meals. Food was nice, but I would of liked what we had ordered.

Chicken was rubbery and the bbq sauce tasted like fish and it was black im sure that is not normal it also had the consistency of water..tiny bag of frozen chips for 3 quid never again..small portion sizes

I had high hopes for this place. Its been there so long that I assumed it must be good. The food was nothing we haven't ordered before but were not at all great. We didn't finish and won't return. I've never had a hot and sour soup look quite as brown as this.

By far our favourite go to Chinese take-away. Food always arrives early, is extremely flavourful and very goid portion sizes. Excellent value. Can highly recommend the beef in blackbean, and any of the king prawn dishes.

Sorry no I like fried rice not rice that isn't fried otherwise it's just boiled rice the noodles tasted strange the chips where the only tasty thing

Salt and pepper box burnt your tongue it was so salty. Left 90% of it. Chips were garbage. Curry just bland packet style, boiled chicken in the chow mein with soggy noodles. Really poor standard, don't bother.

Visited last night for the first time. A hidden gem. Food was excellent - tasty and authentic. We are a third generation Chinese family and have eaten in many Chinese restaurants. Management and staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning.
