Great setting, good choices, excellent service, tasty food and friendly staff! All boxes ticked. Would definitely recommend.

My only issue was with the bill. We asked to round it up to £110 (jt was just over £100) to include a service charge and instead of £55 per couple we were charged £59.07 per couple. Not sure where that figure came from.. it’s absolutely fine I’m not asking for a refund but just to ensure the staff understand In future.

Everything was excellent as usual, from the service to the food. Couldn’t fault anything. Will keep coming back!

This was our 1st time and I can tell you, not the lat time. Food is lloverly, good qualty and tasty.

Went for Sunday lunch and it was brilliant - my son was a bit upset there was no burger on the kids menu but he enjoyed his chicken. This place is gonna be a firm favourite of ours I think.

Lovely staff ,although I didn't receive my glass of water halfway through 2 courses . The vegan starter of pate was delicious ,a bit over priced though .my personal taste was there was far too much of chutney for amount of pate . We eat here regularly & this is first time I have ever had anything but a perfect experience .

Open late Friday and Sundays Cafe does taster menu nights on a Friday- these are ticketed events Sunday they do a roast dinner last seating are 5:45pm Very cute tucked away gem. Worth the visit. Lovely walks and secure bike paths at the venue. So great place for meet ups or a bite before walking the dogs. Cafe sells cooked food, cakes and coffees. Several GF option for foods and treats. Staff are friend. Very modern and trendy decor. Dog friendly 🐾 great dog menu Large outdoor seated area for enjoying the sunshine moments. Car park is free if at the cafe get a code on your receipt. There is a looped path behind the cafe it's 2.3km and take a medium pace 1hr Can be done quicker

We had a really nice breakfast date at Canada Wood cafe. The food is delicious and plenty of choice, and the team there are so friendly and welcoming.

Turned up in a party of six at 5:20pm on a Wednesday for food and drinks and place was closed very disappointed as closing time is stated at 6pm

Great place for lunch. We had fish and chips and they were nice and crispy.

Update: We've eaten here many times now for breakfast and lunch and it really is excellent. Personally, I prefer it for breakfast ie Sunday roast though. There are a few options for veggies and more for carnivores - especially on the lunch menu (I stick to the cheese toastie for lunch which is a good size, though I would love to see a veggie burger on the menu too). For breakfast, the vegetarian breakfast bake is something different to the regular offerings of Linda McCartney Sausages or egg rolls that you find pretty much everywhere else and the poached eggs on toast are the best I've had without question. The staff are attentive, though it can take some time to get seated at busy points of the day so reserving ahead is recommended. We spend between £20 and £30 per visit for the two of us depending on the time of day that we visit. Don't be put off by the car park charge either, as a code is provided upon request for customers that will allow you to exit for free - just remember that it is a one way car park though (I've twice met people exiting through the entrance as I have been coming in). Dogs are welcome and get added to a wall of fame and there is an outdoor area which is very popular when the weather allows. Parking is ample and there are fantastic walks/ biking routes on the doorstep for walking off the meal. Keep an eye out for deer in the field opposite and the occasional hare on the footpaths. If you head up to the viewpoint in Tamfourhill Wood between April and August, the Highland cows are likely to be in the field with their calves too! If you get a cake (much recommended) or coffee to take away, please put your litter in the bin in the car park though - I've picked up a few coffee cups on my walks of the woods.

Brilliant and very friendly, good value for money. Food was excellent. Glad we booked (family of 4) as it was really busy. It was my dogs birthday and they treated Tilly so well. Can't wait to go back.

What a fabulous place! Lots of appealing healthy menu choices and excellent service. Quality coffee and a licenced bar. But the best bit is the attention on dogs with a wall of dog visitors and a special menu

Great, food and friendly staff. My daughter has allergies, and her food was made sensitively to ensure it was appropriate and safe for her to eat. Sadly this is not always the case in other restaurant's or cafe"s. Will definitely be back.

I've dined here multiple times, and the food is always delicious and perfect. I love returning regularly, and with the stunning location and friendly staff, it's the perfect spot for a meal. As a bonus, it's dog friendly and a perfect stopping point during long scenic walks in the area.

Gorgeous view, attentive and pleasant staff, and a varied and interesting menu. Plus pleasant walks in the adjacent woods with views high over Falkirk town.

Made a table of 10 plus high chair really welcome! We will be back!

We love visiting the cafe when walking the dogs. The food is always delicious and the service is great! The staff are always friendly, helpful and happy to help cater to dietary requirements, even when they are super busy with queues out the door.

Great food as always but in today with our young dog and asked if possible to have a seat away from the door to help her stay calm and they were more than helpful with this request!

Absolutely beautiful place. Decor is beautiful and stunning views through the large windows. Food is absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. The young staff are so pleasant, friendly and chatty.

Great location and good was good. They could use free WiFi, which is only down thing.

We went for lunch after booking online. It was busy but had some tables left. The noise from a group with children was way over the top. Waited 40 mins for lunch despite others being served before us. My poached eggs were stone cold and hollandaise sauce looked congealed. Burger was nothing special and thin chips were so crunchy you couldn’t eat them with a fork. Very disappointed! It used to be such a lovely cafe too.

I love this wee cafe & best of all it’s dog friendly!! It’s always super busy tho so best to book. We didn’t and were lucky but only had 45mins which suited fine as it was only for cake & coffee. They have plenty seating outside too for when it’s nice.

Stopped in for lunch with mum. Not been in a while and it was better than I remembered. I had the goats cheese salad and my mum had the pate and focaccia. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Myself and 2 friends visited here today we hadn’t booked as we were just visiting the area but would like to thank the super friendly member who managed to get us a table it was so appreciated . We had lovely soup and toasted sandwiches the venue it’s self was beautiful with love atmosphere and fab decor so welcoming on such a blustery autumn day. Thank-you again

Hidden Gem. If you want to eat inside, book a table. It's dog friendly. The breakfast was absolutely awesome; recommend Turkish eggs and French toast with bacon. The produce is really high quality - the bacon was next level. The team are brilliant. Will be coming back here for breakfast and dog walks in the future!

Thoroughly enjoyed my pig's cheek croque madame. My wife had a soup and sandwich deal and scoffed the lot, which says everything about the quality of the food.

Rural venue with fantastic views and attentive friendly staff. Served by Gill/Jill on this occasion for breakfast. Lovely mains and choice of cakes. I have enjoyed breakfast and lunch here. It has a dog friendly eating area outside.

Fantastic place for a well earned snack or in our case a meal, after a long walk in the Canada Woods - highly recommend

Lovely staff and location but the food was massively overpriced for what you got. Mac and cheese at £14.50 for a medium sized ramekin of mac and cheese which tasted mostly just of creamy and a sprinkling of skinny fries. Kids sandwich is half a sandwich (2pieces of bread with filling, of which you get two bits). I know prices are higher throughout all industries, but throw a bit of salad on the plate to bulk things out before you charge £15 for something that costs pennies to produce. Would definitely not eat there again despite the lovely location, free parking and nice staff. Just not worth the money. £2.75 for a can of Fanta? Thank goodness we stuck with water.

Nice enough place, trading on location though, food is not very good. Clientele are on the older side and don’t seem to mind.
