Camdean Chinese Carry Out in Fife

Bought special fried rice. Very dry, boiled rice barely fried, as if they're trying to save on oil. I'll give them a miss in future.

We had a friend visiting on Saturday evening and we all decided to have some Chinese food - once again the young lady on the other end of the phone was very pleasant, helpful and polite... a credit to the business. The food was delivered fairly quickly and was still very hot and delicious, too!

We returned from holiday and decided to order food from here to be delivered. The young lady on the other end of the phone was very polite and helpful and the meal was very good and reasonably priced. We will order from here again.

Placed an order tonight. Enjoy a Chinese when Eurovision is on. The order came very quickly and was piping hot as usual and of very good quality.

We had a take-away delivered from here last night and for the most part found it to be very good. In fact, it would have normally received 5 stars as the two main dishes and fried rice were delicious, tasty and well cooked. However, the ribs were a totally different story as they were tough, overcooked and impossible to eat without possibly breaking teeth! I did try to ring the kitchen to complain as we love ribs and were looking forward to them but the lines were engaged and gave up as I wanted to enjoy what we could of the rest of the meal.

Collected a takeaway tonight, drove to caledonia court (1 min in car) plated it up, COLD food and chips were certainly not fresh. Phoned up, no apology at all, instead I was told ALL food is cooked to order, and before I could say anything else, she hung up on me. Awful!

This is one of the best Chinese Takeaways in the area. I have used it a lot during lockdown and they have provided an excellent service. Deliveries to my home have pretty much been on time every time I have called. The food is always piping hot and of good quality.

I ordered 2 steak meals to be delivered for my husbands birthday. The Restaurant Staff were really friendly, and went above and beyond. I was trying to make a Lockdown birthday for my husband enjoyable. The food arrived exactly when They said it would and the driver was friendly. The meals were amazing, I’d asked for both steaks to be cooked differently and that’s exactly how they arrived. I’d changed the chips for Salt and Pepper Chips and they were the best I’ve tasted. I highly recommend this Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've heard good things about the carmdean. With rhe prices they charge, you would expect a premium product. The prawn toast is burnt. The rib dish is supposed to salt and pepper ribs! As you can see from the photo, a slither or two of onion does not make salt and pepper ribs. Mains not even opened yet. I expect further disappointment

Food is great from this place. Been going here for over 30 years and can't beat it. I have moved nearer glasgow and can't find anywhere that comes close to the Camdean. Barbecue sauce is amazing and picked up a chineese when visiting family and loved it.

Tried this takeaway for the first & the last time, food was ok sauce was salty af & tasted more like aniseed than bbq , prawn crackers were more like crumbs & alot of the ones that were whole weren’t cooked properly

Read the reviews and tried it but wish we hadn’t. Smelt great in shop and was really looking forward to my meal. Special Curry had no beef and it had pineapple and was terrible. My Wife had Chicken Breast Curry and there was very little sauce and finally we were served truly the worst soft noodles we have EVER tasted although tasted is the wrong description. They were dry and seemed microwaved. Never be back.

Thought id try this place as not been for a long time. First of all very expensive compared to my usual chinese. It was a good £4 quid more for the the same thing. Premium prices for Rosyth. Next the food was not good. Veery salty and bland.

All staff are lovely, delivery guys are all friendly and the food is cracking. Best chinese delivery in rosyth and surrounding. Won't go anywhere else. Ps try the cheese rolls with some Peking sauce ;)

Been using this takeaway for years. I usually get a delivery and it is usually there within 30 minute maximum and even sooner most times. The Food is always piping hot and I have never had a complaint. Recommend to everyone in this area.

Been using camdean for many years. Very friendly family. Food always spot on, usually ready for us to collect within 15 minutes, and delivery seems pretty quick considering we are 10 min drive away, food still consistently hot. Occasionally we have had slightly longer waits...

Always extremely fast service, always seems fresh and of a good quality. Tried many of the local chinese's over the past few years in Dunfermline but this is by far the best.

Salt and pepper chicken with no onions, no chillies, no peppers just coated in sugar! The chicken was undercooked and just dough and the chicken pineapple was bland and gloopy! Will attach a photo soon

As Chinese Takeaway places go, this is one of the best in this area. We get it delivered after phoning in our order. Very friendly, both over the phone and delivery drivers. Reasonable price and delicious food. Can't fault it.

Do not order from here if you are vegetarian. I ordered the mushroom Curry, I found a piece of chicken in my meal, totally turned my Stomach and the meal was thrown in the bin. We won't be back

This is not the easiest Takeaway to find but,gosh,you are rewarded!It has an extensive range of Chinese meals all at reasonable prices.The staff who serve you are exceptionally friendly.I loved the fried rice dishes!
