Ordered tawa which was stated for 3 people size was more like for one adult and one child The food was totally tasteless especially the starters no flavour to anything especially the so called cod fish dry as anything - size of the lamb chops were for new born babies lol and much dried. In terms of price of the food much higher than other similar restaurants Customer service is all about how can we charge customers extra no such thing as customer service or care very bad experience Also ordered Currie's again tasteless This review is my personal opinion and not baist in anyway. I highly discard this restaurant and would never go back again. P s lamb meat means lamb meat not mutton Desi ghee means desi ghee.

Had my daughters birthday party at Sultans, food was desi style made accordingly to our taste and nobody complained as i took a bunch of fussy eaters. The staff where polite and gave us excellent service. Would highly recommend this tawa place, so much better than any tawa place in thr midlands. Thanks so much for a wonderful evening

This place is called Sultans now. The food here is generally the best you're going to get in Caldmore, even though that is no measure of success. The Caldmore food scene has seen better days. Unfortunately, I am leaving a bad review because it is the second time that I have had the same problem. The grilled food had a plastic/ashy taste. I assume this is because the grills are not cleaned or maintained. Clean the grills and change or maintain it better.

This place is now known as Sultans. Food is really good, but they continue to flood the food with excessive oil especially on their takeaways. Eat in food is also good. It’s a fairly low eat In restaurant. I see lots of families come here. Like i said food is good, but not great. Don’t expect brilliant service.

After the bad press this restaurant has had recently I was a bit cautious about eating here but having enjoyed meals here many years ago and the lure of being able to bring your own drinks I thought I'd try it out again. Restaurant was empty...obviously many people have been put off. We walked in and were met by new staff which was good to see. Menu options same as I previously remember and food was very tasty. However we waited at least an hour for our starters which was a let down as we were very hungry! The service was very poor, no hospitality at all. All in all, good menu selection, good food, can take your own drinks but poor atmosphere and hospitality.

Firstly they rang me to let me know they didn’t have the flavour milkshake I wanted and in fact they did t have of the other flavours either except Oreo. When my food arrived they forgot my dip and there was nothing on the wrap except dry donner meat. Disgusting and not worth the money

7 Anchor RoadMalabar: I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience visiting this restaurant. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff who make us feel welcome every time we walk through the door. To start our meal, we ordered ten popadoms (10 I know, my friend has a popadom addiction) which arrived at our table quickly, accompanied by a selection of delicious chutneys. The popadoms were crispy and light, making for the perfect start to our dining experience. For the main course, we opted for two chicken curries: the Chicken Tikka Curry and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with tender chicken pieces that simply melted in our mouths. The Chicken Tikka Curry was rich and flavorful, with a subtle spice that left us craving more, while the Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and indulgent, with a hint of sweetness that complemented the spice perfectly. We also ordered the Bengali Lamb Curry, a dish that was new to us, but one that we'll certainly be ordering again. The lamb was cooked until it was tender and juicy, and the curry was rich and aromatic, with a complex flavour profile that was both exotic and comforting. To accompany our curries, we ordered a serving of Tarka Dhal, a delicious lentil dish that was the perfect balance of flavours. The lentils were cooked until they were soft and creamy, and the spicing was spot on, with a hint of ginger and garlic that added depth and warmth to the dish. To round off our meal, we ordered chips and naan bread, both of which were perfectly cooked and delicious. The chips were crispy and golden, while the naan bread was fluffy and soft, with a hint of charring that added a subtle smoky flavour. Overall, our dining experience at Malabar was exceptional. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend Malabar to anyone looking for a dining experience that won't disappoint. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt like we were in good hands, and we'll certainly be returning to Malabar again and again.
