Amazing visited today as a special treat for Mother’s Day for afternoon tea. The food was amazing plenty of verity and there was so much we were able to take half the cakes home. All the food was very fresh home cooked food. The staff were all very attentive nothing was too much trouble very friendly. The price was very reasonable if anything they could charge more. They would definitely give Betty’s in Harrogate a run for there money. Thank you for making my day so special. Well done

We visit Nancy’s cake shop on a weekly basis as we absolutely love the savoury & sweet treats, drinks, staff, and atmosphere. The staff are wonderful; polite, happy to see you, remember familiar faces, and always upbeat and accommodating in any way you need. Based on our many happy experiences here we decided to rent the cake shop for a small family birthday party. Organising the party with Nancy was a really easy process, everything was thought of well in advance. On the day Nancy was so helpful and had prepared an amazing selection of food for us. The whole set up was stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was more than enough food which we were able to take home with us as well. Thank you so much to Nancy and her team for being the most amazing local business! 💜

Amazing little cake shop/ café. Staff are the friendliest there is, always bubbly and full of smiles. Hot drinks, savouries and cakes to die for, always such a good selection. Ordered the giant loaded cookie for my sons birthday and everyone loved it, will definitely order for occasions again. I've also had the afternoon tea with a friend and everything was amazing! Will definitely be back for both cake dates with friends and personal orders for occasions!

Nancy did our wedding cake back in September 2021. She is so lovely and nothings too much trouble. We got exactly what we asked for and the flavours were amazing, with lemon being my fave! From the first initial enquiry to set up on the wedding day I couldn’t have been happier!

I tell everyone about cakes by Nancy and that they need to go! A really cute setting, fab service and the most amazing baked goods! Get yourself there.

I’d had plenty of recommendations to use Cakes by Nancy and had also tasted the delicious cakes from here before so it was no shock that my sons birthday cake was AMAZING. He absolutely loved it as the theme he wanted was produced so well as well as being so tasty. Would highly recommend.

AMAZING IN EVERY WAY! We have had multiple birthday cakes and Easter treats from here and we won’t be going anywhere else! They are the best sweet treats you could wish for so tasty, fresh and the personalisation to the birthday cakes are unmatched. We travel 30-40 mins for the cakes and bakes and If I lived closer I would eat in the shop all the time!

I absolutely love cakes by Nancy brownies and blondies. The takeaway treat boxes are really yummy and the perfect treat. The staff are all lovely too.

Favourite place to meet friends!! Huge choice of cakes, brownies, cookies etc and always something new to try. Good drinks and lunch menu too. Gorgeous decor and really friendly staff. Highly recommend :)

Great dessert cafe with takeaway. Huge portions and great ever changing selection. Bulging balls are a must. Would love to see some ice cream options to add to the cakes on hot days.

The best bakes you will find anywhere! The selection is unreal and the grazing boards are out of this world. There’s something for everyone here.

I bloody love Nancy's!! The cakes are amazing and I've never ever not been spoilt for choice, infant I'm convinced I'm fat just because of this shop!! The drinks are always amazing, kids love the milkshakes and I love that thr caramel latte actually tastes like caramel....they are not tight with thr syrup like some larger coffee chains (cough cough costa) The cakes are always delicious and I always leave with a box to share with the family. All the staff are lovely and the decor is so cute and girly! Definitely recommend ❤️

I have used cakes by Nancy for brownie stacks which have been wonderful and gone down a treat! I have also been to the cafe and have really enjoyed the coffee and cakes on offer. Really friendly staff, lovely shop and even nicer sweet treats!...

Very nice cakes - rather rich. Also does savoury options too. Cafe is a little small with only 3 tables and a side table but very nice decor. Rather stuffy inside though. Was nice when people opened the door to let some air in.
