This is a hidden gem restaurant in London. If you want to enjoy authentic Korean food, this is the place to go.

Both food and service were excellent. Lovely lady (staff) spoke to us in our language (not Korean or English) and gave my son a compliment 😊 I’d definitely go back again for both food and service.

The food was very nice but the way they rush you to eat your food isn’t. Me and my boyfriend have been going Korean BBQ for ages and is one of our favourites. We like to cook it ourselves because we know how we like it plus I’m pregnant so it’s important I cook it myself. The food came very slow considering the raw meat was still in the freezer and was still frozen when came out. One of the staff started cooking the meet, Another lady came to our table as the other guy seemed to not do it very fast and she was rushing our food so much , hovering over the table making it very awkward for us to converse and enjoy our dinner. We had to rush to eat it as it was going to become cold and chewy. Very overpriced, and it really annoyed me that they stood there cooking if for us. Beats the whole experience of Korean BBQ. I’m only going to Yori Piccadilly or Covent Garden . There’s plenty nicer ones on Kingston and New Malden where you cook it yourself and the need is fabulous also the egg fried rice was very salty . I spend hundred when going to Korean BBQs but not sure we will be returning to this one

Second time for dinner at this place and it did not disappoint! Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait for next time!

Food was 💯and felt like a home cooked meal.🍽️ The staff was 💯 with customer service- they kept checking in to see what we needed. They even cooked the Tteok-Bokki on the BBQ for us. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing. Seemed very family friendly and gave that local cosy vibes.🦦Yet, a great atmosphere for a date.👈🏾 The toilet was clean, easily accessible and had enough resources to use.✅

Service is impeccable, definitely one of the best I’ve had in London. Delicious pajeon and mul-naengmyeon. Value is great especially considering the ambience. Will revisit for their barbecue next time!

We had a lunch at Cahchi restaurant today. It’s within a short walking distance from the High Street of New Malden. We ordered a BBQ platter, ginseng chicken soup, glass noodles, etc. The food, service and the atmosphere are good. The toilet is clean. If you like Korean food, you must give it a try.

It was sooooo good!!! The service, the food, the vibe like it was our first time in New Malden and we’ve decided to try and come back here once a month now. 10/10 would recommend like it was giving what it was meant to give. We had 2 rounds of different platters; the first round was the marinated platter and the second was the pork platter and let me tell you both were amazing quality meats and just overall so good like I’m a foodie so take my word and pleaseeee go and eat here!!!!!!!

Authentic Korean food in a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend spicy tofu stew with ox intestines, seafood pancake, spicy soup noodles

Definitely try the miso glazed grilled aubergines, Thebokki is always a good idea. Chives and prawn steamed mandu was tasty. The complimentary nibbles were so varied, liked the honey soaked beans. Try a glass of chilled plum wine as an aperative. BBQ is nicely done, I will try the seafood grill next time. The atmosphere is nice, every table is served with attentive and kind staff with smiles on their faces. Yes, it comes with a price, but it's well deserved. Thanks to the team at Cahchi!

Very nice Korean bbq restaurant, great service and atmosphere. A tinsy bit expensive, but it was great regardless I would definitely recommend it The pork platter, Kimchi and potato salad were very delicious. The spicy pork was definitely my favourite. I wish the portions were a bit bigger.

If you love South Koren food, this place is a must!

The spicy noodle soup was good in both taste and quantity, but I felt that the other menu items were lacking in quantity (especially the appetizers). The large shaved ice I ordered for dessert was very small and did not contain condensed milk, so I was very disappointed.

It's my daughter's favourite place hence we had her birthday dinner last night. They have accommodated so kindly and helped us to make it a special evening. Thank you so much!

I love Korean bbq and this was an excellent one. We had the iberico and the beef galbi, wrap set, plus some udon (bit sweet) and the seafood pancake. Fed 2.5 nicely without being over stuffed. They cook the meat for you, they don't put weird paper on the griddle, they're excellent with children and gave us some more nibbles because she liked the omelette. The bathroom had plenty of space for changing if we had needed to, everything was super clean. 100%would go again. Highly recommend this place which was busy even on a weekday lunch.

A new experience for me and found the staff most helpful. Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant to try something a little different.

Best Korean I’ve had in the area

Super friendly staff and very accommodating for children with children's cutlery and plates. The food was delicious and cooked on the bbq jn front of you. Ambiance was very nice as well. We'll be going back for sure thanks for a lovely meal. Parking was also very easy on the next street.

Took my parents here based on good reviews and recs on the new Malden chat but boy, it was so underwhelming! Meat portions were tiny and £100 for three people! The pancakes were nice we had two. Service is below expectations as they don’t seem friendly at all, not rude but no service. Large Korean clientele I can see but I’ve been to the ones in Korea and Cahchi honestly isn’t great in taste. The saddest bit was just 4 starters when you’d usually get more at real Korean restaurants. We had to pay for extra kimchi… Better off doing your own Korean bbq or going to the others on the high st.

We had a lovely meal here today for my son's birthday. Superb food, friendly staff and great service. They even brough over some mochi and candle as a pleasant surprise for my son. Also recommend their seafood pancake, one of the best we have had in the UK :) The restaurant is quite new and modern and we sure will come back again in the future!

Scrumptious Korean BBQ dinner. Awesome service and food. The atmosphere is great. Even the toilets are clean and stylish. The only downside is quite pricey. BBQ side dishes cost £9.

Nice and clean, the food was delicious and well presented. There aren’t any grease fumes, and we didn’t leave smelling like BBQ. Service was good - we had to follow up a few times for some items but overall not bad. I will definitely be back!

This is truly an amazing restaurant. It was recommended to me by neighbours and my Korean nail technician. We were not disappointed the food was absolutely delicious the waiters so attentive. The owner smiled and smiled and had a gentle glow about her. Definitely go there you won’t be disappointed

The meat is all very nice. The dumplings are amazing and so nice and juicy. How ever the meat in the glass noodles are a bit rough , but other than the glass noodles are delicious.

Beautiful restaurant with super attentive staff. The appetisers are the star of the show, the octopus balls are amazing as well as the kimchi pancakes. Definitely recommend the seafood and veggie bbq, good portion and delicious sauce.

Went to Kkachinet restaurant with many friends,made a reservation,but the service, food,and the attitude towards our request left a bad impression.It not only disappointed me but also made my friends feel uncomfortable.I wouldn't recommend this restaurant in the future.

The cost of the meal was ridiculously hjgh, but the service was terrible. It is true that side dishes are provided as standad in New Malden. Basic side dishes are included in the price of the food. For example, Kimchi.... Many people(friend over 12 people) were eating together, but they left a chopstick of Kimchi and the service was poor.I felt sorry for the people who accompanied me. Can't the people who run the resturant Provide a little more generous service?

Amazing service from start to finish! We were greeted with smiles and they cooked our bbq for us. The food was amazing. We had the bibimbap, egg rice, and Korean bbq. I decided to try this restaurant based on their pictures on Google. They had the best pictures of their food. I made the right choice!

Sooo much better now this place has been rebranded/ taken over. Really high quality food. Maybe the best I've had in new Malden. It's on the more expensive side but we didn't really mind as the quality was so good. BBQ meats cooked for you at the table and the lovely waiters showed us new traditional ways to eat it all. We had nibbles, bbq, sides, drinks and puddings for £50 each.

This was our favourite restaurant in Earlsfield and we were thrilled to hear they have re-opened in New Malden. The food was absolutely delicious and the owner and staff were so welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the miso aubergine and the marinated BBQ platter. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the music is at just the right volume so you can hold a conversation easily. We will be back again soon!

Very bad service, just want to push customer to finish their meal ASAP

I enjoyed the food overall, the service was polite and the restaurant itself is clean and modern. There were 3 banchan (side dishes) complimentary but as a Korean, I'm always disappointed to see that the lettuce, spring onions and kimchi are charged, which I thought wouldn't be the case in New Malden. Between the three of us, we shared veg japchae (was ok, not worth ordering), pa jeon (good flavour and consistency) tteokbokki (I liked that it was cooked on the table and it had good flavour) and for the BBQ we got the LA galbi, pork bulgogi, pork belly (all good).

Came for lunch on a Saturday - food was amazing and service even better, have had a lot of KBBQ in London and around the world and this probably ranks amongst the best I’ve had - the pork shoulder and ginseng chicken were highlights

One of the best Korean restaurants in the area, the food was amazing and the sevice is good.

Had lunch sets with a friend. The lunch set meal was a quite good deal. It included salad, pancakes and main. The portion could be generous. The staff was kind in general, but they were not attentive and welcoming enough. But I can't complain about it as they fulfilled a basic service. There were traditional Korean decorations on the walls, which gave an authentic vibe to customers. Overall, I'll come back and try different dishes in the future.

Took ages to get to this place from the other end of London. Not much public transport option around here. Nice layout and decor. Food was quite slow to come but then it was Fri night and crowded. Tbh it's not the best Korean food in London. I would just rate it as OK. Bibimbap should have had more gojuchang for flavour. Nice drinks. Nice people.

The food was fine if a little bland, but the portions and flavour were half what you’d get next door (or any of the other slightly less fancy looking restaurants nearby). £62 spent for two people and still hungry.

Staff were brilliant and went above-and-beyond for a birthday dinner. We spoke to the staff about a recent trip we were taking to Korea and the duty manager was very helpful telling us recommendations of excursions and locations. Food was traditional and tasty and got us excited for our trip. Thanks again! We will be back definitely

Great food and spectacular service.

A lot of fanfare followed the opening of this restaurant, so as a local, I was eager to try it out. The restaurant and it's operation feels polished, with new furnishings and decor aiming slightly upmarket, servers move efficiently across the floor and staff feel trained in hospitality. The food isn't far behind either, the seafood pancakes are delicately crispy, the kimchi jigae is warming and sharp with flavour and the beef bulgogi shines with it's marinade. However, portion sizes are noticeably lower than average, which cuts twice as bad given the higher price point. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating and barbeques built into all tables. Great setting for a more upscale group dinner but on balance, there are other local Korean restaurants where I would rather get my fill.

Truly exceptional meal at Cah Chi. We had the barbeque platter with some sides and spicy noodles. The staff were brilliant at recommending dishes and talking us through the food and very attentive. We will be back for sure.

Very friendly and helpful staff, we were not expecting a table-side chef when we ordered our BBQ platter but the extra service was extremely welcome and helpful, saved us a ton of worry about setting the place on fire 😂 staff passing by kept clearing our table from the empty plates and they were always attentive when we needed refills. My partner took me here as a birthday treat and sneakily arranged a little birthday desert as a finle, to both of our surprise dessert arrived with an ontourage of staff all singing happy birthday for me, it was delightfully embarrassing and sweet 😅

Food and service was amazing, everything was watched over by the manager making sure our experience was very comfortable. Portions were a little small but it might just be our family of 5. Meat was so tender and delicious 100% recommend.

The best korean food you can get in London. Absolutely decent, pure class. However the servers seem quite disorganised. One time they forgot our water. It takes about 100 bell-rings and 30 minutes to call the server for the bill or menu. Also they dont have the best korean (though they try :3).

We ate like royalty here: the service was impeccable, food was delicious and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We got the Marinated BBQ platter and really enjoyed the tender and beautifully flavoured meat. We also really enjoyed the hotpot! The seafood pancake (pajeong) was one of the best I've had in the UK, nice and crispy with a generous smattering of seafood.

Services good and the food was delicious I hope to visit again. I wish they had a lunch menu the catered to more affordable meals for lunchtime

Our first time at a Korean restaurant. We went for dinner late in the evening. It was quiet during our visit. Cahchi Restaurant provides a pleasant ambience. The waitresses/staff were very warm and welcoming. We ordered promptly and food/drinks were served timely. The menu has a wide range of options including some vegetarian items. Our table had a built-in barbeque griddle plate in the centre and our pre-marinated seafood/meat/vegetables were cooked by the waitress whilst we watched. We enjoyed the freshly cooked food. On this occasion, we did not have time to try desserts. My only reservation at dining here was the higher than average expense - overall the premium not fully worthy of the food and experience.

A lovely restaurant with great food and friendly, helpful staff. We had the bbq which I thought we would cook ourselves but had servers there doing everything at a comfortable pace. Everything was fresh and delicious. Be warned though, they may sing happy birthday to you!

I went here with friends from different nations. For one of us it was the first time they had Korean food, but it was too sweet and oily which is not good at our age. It didn't seem like the chef tasted before serving. A shame as we have had nice food there before.

Marinated meat bbq platter 10/10

Amazing food - they have a huge variety of Korean dishes, and every one we tried was delicious. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with relaxed and very well done decor. The staff were great too - they were super helpful and attentive throughout. This is a great place to go to try new things, or to go with friends/family (so you can order more delicious things to share off the menu). We had a fantastic time - cannot recommend enough.

The food is overall tasteless..

Experience an authentic taste of traditional Korean food tucked in the side streets of KoreaTown. This is the place that's highly rated in The Guardian by Grace Dent that packs a punch from the welcoming and warm staff and glorious food that reminds me of my childhood! Everything is watched over by the manager who makes sure the service is perfect and everything is running smoothly. Not a single flaw and the place was lively with the locals and tourists feeling at home here. A perfect place to visit!

Amazing restaurant. The food was superb. I haven’t rated meat in 30 years but tried the beef it smelt so amazing. The staff are so friendly. Brought over a dessert and candle as it was my birthday. Love this place.
