Caffi'r Castell in Cardiff

Good place to visit if or in Cardiff you can just walk around and have a look for free but if you want to go further into the castle then you have to pay

This place should have better reviews. It’s a nice pretty place to sit outside if the weather’s nice. Lots of seating. My food was good. The servers are nice. Prices not so bad considering the location.

Had drinks and icecreams here in the sun, sat outside. Beer was good, kids enjoyed icecreams, so no complaints.

Service is decent and prices are OK, but BEWARE, coffee lids are very flimsy, had multiple spills on clothes during our visit due to the lid coming off. Very annoyed at this.

Friendly service, drinks and snacks after looking around the castle, but is open to the public!

Good place to have a meal, certainly the thing to reward is the convenience, visitors are facilitated in their meal because this place is located right near the ticket office. The quality of the food is excellent.

Needed just a snack and tried their pies. Tasty and just what we needed. Unfortunately the nearby public toilets were a complete let down. Disabled ones had no access so the visit was abandoned thankfully we had not already purchased our tickets.

Disappointing attitude and service. Went there last week, as the Castle grounds are now open to all and they have so much space. Sadly, none of the staff were wearing face masks. I ordered coffee and hoped that they will wear a mask to prepare the coffee. No. I asked them to wear a mask, at least when they are cutting up and serving our cakes. The person at the counter said that they are not obliged to do that. I explained that I am not comfortable and will not be able to eat there if he can not wear a mask. Sad. As being council owned, one would have thought they should be the first to have strict health and safety rules. The only reason for the three stars is that I have eaten here before and the quality/prce ratio is great, as is the location. During COVID, I will steer clear

Nice and cheap, lovely staff. Great if you have a castle key card as you can come and go without paying entry to the castle

This is a cafe attached to the ticket office and shop. Bottles only, but beer and wine are also available. The menu mainly consists of light meals such as curry, fish and chips, pies, and soups, but the prices are reasonable at £5-7.

Disappointed entrance ticket only admits to part of castle. Parts not really sutable for wheelchairs. cAFE VERY GOOD

Fairly run of the mill cafe. Strangely, the menu is not displayed at the food counter, so many people must assume they don't do food

What to say about such classical attraction with already thousands reviews? The department about 19. and 20. centuries wars was pretty plastic and even interaktivne - one could put uniform on etc. The entrance price (13 pounds) could ne less...

Good service and reasonable price. Nice view of the castle grounds while eating and just chilling out.

Hay tanto dentro como fuera de asientos con fantásticas vistas tanto al castillo y el Norman mantener.Tienen una selección de comidas calientes, que bien en un día húmedo frío. Además de las típicas ofertas de algunos sándwiches, chef, una pequeña selección de tartas y pasteles.El café estaba caliente y buen sabor también tenía varios tipos de té. El personal nos pareció muy amable y servicial, y disfrutamos tanto de la comida y la vista a través de la lluvia ese día. Me imagino que sería más agradable para sentarse afuera en un calentador o secador de día. .Abierto todos los días de 9 am a 4 pm y no tuvimos problemas que nos una comida caliente en modo casi 3pm cuando muchos cafés simplemente decir sin cocina cerrada.
