We've previously visited this cafe on our holidays and have always had a pleasant experience with nice food. Not sure what's happened since then, but they seem to be understaffed and our order was forgotten about twice. Young girl on service seemed to be snowed under and we ended up leaving without a dessert after waiting ages to be told it had been forgotten about again. Was offered an apology but staff could do with some customer service skills as a smile and a how was your meal wouldn't of gone a miss. Considering our order wasn't put through not once but twice some type of compensation or refund would of been a nice gesture but all we got was do we want it boxed up to take home. Such a shame as its a great location but won't tolerate rudeness and bad customer service, so we won't be visiting again!

Wonderfully remote campsite and café. Went there for lunch as good reviews on Tripadvisor and accepted dogs. Well deserved as food was good quality, especially the bacon. Cakes very nice too and all good value. Nice toilets. Friendly owners and staff. Well worth a visit before or after a trip to the lovely viewpoint at Mynydd Mawr.

At the furthest tip of the llyn peninsula, in newly built premises, this cafe enjoys a magnificent situation with wonderful views over the most unspoilt country imaginable. Inside seating for the cold or wet days and a spacious patio for warmer days, plus good value and excellent coffee, with friendly and knowledgeable ladies to advise on the local area, make for a truly enjoyable experience.

We happened to drive past and called in for a cup of coffee and a toilet break. The service we received and the products available meant we stayed longer than planned, and bought more! Fresh scones were delicious, along with fresh cakes on display and ice creams and crisps. We didnt eat a main meal as it was late afternoon but all of the food and drink we bought was very good value, fresh and served with great care by what looks like a wonderful multi generational team. The view from here is wonderful and we are so pleased to have stopped and hope to be back soon.

We visited this cafe on three occasions during our recent holiday in Aberdaron. Situated at the foot of Uwchmynedd it offers great sea views including Bardsey Island. Served each morning by the friendly Marion, this became our favourite cafe. Plenty of tables inside, and decking outside for when the weather permits. I always chose the standard Welsh breakfast, great value at £6. Two very thick rashers of bacon, two sausages, fried egg, hash brown, toast and beans. There is a larger breakfast which includes two of everything for a £1 more, but the normal one was enough for me. Good cake selection too, and we recommend the homemade Bara Brith.

We called for breakfast at the start of our hike & it was very enjoyable. After ordering it took 35 minutes before our food arrived which was fine as it it obviously cooked from fresh. The food was very good except for the poor quality sausages, otherwise it would be a full 5 stars

situated in surrounding stunning scenery this friendly family run cafe is a gem. We had booked for afternoon tea - it was truly delicious and one of the best I've ever had. Between 2 of us we had 6 fingers of tastly freshly made sandwiches with a variety of fillings; 2 sausage rolls (pastry was light and flaky); 2 quiche (again very tasty with a light pastry and full of filling); salad (comprising of lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes); pot of coleslaw; pot of chutney; served on slate and very well presented. Served with either tea or coffee of your choice - we had a teapot of tea and a teapot of peppermint tea. Then came the variety of cakes (again very nicely served on slate) consisting of individual cheesecake each; two pieces of carrot cake, almond slice, sponge cake, rocky road, scone (with a ramekin of strawberry jam and ramekin of fresh cream); lemon drizzle (too much for us really - but we got to take the rest home with us). The cakes were freshly made and not too big a portion. You'll need to book afternoon tea in advance; but can call in anytime to eat from the other menu. Everything freshly made and well worth the wait. We will return and also recommend others to visit.

We are really pleased that we found this café a few years ago, the place is run by a lovely family and staff that make you very welcome every time you go, the food and service is top and nothing is to much trouble, the views are also a bonus the cafe is going from strength to strength due to the hard work of all involved with this business my advice to anyone reading this review is to go and try this café for yourselves you won't be disappointed it's especially good on a nice day as it has a very large patio where you can sit with friends and enjoy the food and views.Enjoy!

Think someone got out the wrong side of the bed. One of the staff came over as very aggressive and didn’t make for a pleasant start to a meal. In the past we have found it welcoming and good food. Really hope this is a one off.

Following on from Porth Meudwy along the coastal path towards the tip of the Llyn, we again visited the Ty Newydd campsite cafe . [Caffi Ty-Newydd] for a light lunch. Much quieter than the last visit on Bank Holiday but the service was the same - Excellent! Good food, good friendly service, lovely views. A great place to have a rest and recharge the batteries before attempting the walk up Uwchmynydd!

My boyfriends family have been coming to this site every year for over 20 years, maybe more. My first visit to this site was in 2011 and I can safely say I wouldn't go anywhere else. The site is a friendly, family run business consisting of a number of large fields fit for both caravans and tents. Most plots have an electric hook up and are very reasonably sized. The site is located at the end of the Llyn Peninsula, therefore very quiet and peaceful with stunning views. aberdaron beach is not too far away with local shops and pubs for all your needs. staff are extremely friendly and will do anything to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The cafe serves brilliant food for those days where you just dont want to faff around cooking in your tent or caravan. there is a large conservatory at the back of the cafe and also a large seating area outside for the warmer days.there is a small gift shop also, and a beauty treatment room where you can have spa treatments such as facials and massages. the toilet and shower facilities are great. always clean with plenty of loo roll/handwash. There is a choice of 20p showers (2minutes) or 50p showers (5minutes) and cubicles are of a very decent size. the main office is also filled with leaflets of places nearby to visit, and the staff will give you as much advice as possible to ensure your stay is safe and enjoyable. overall, a fantastic campsite which expands year by year. wouldn't go anywhere else. see you next year!
