Excellent food and service. Very clean and big portions. Dogs welcome in the conservatory.

Having seen the food and service improve in recent years it was disappointing to fly in recently and have to send back a bacon and sausage bap due to the contents not just being overcooked but actually incinerated! As in the past, no apology was offered and the food whisked away to be replaced with a tut! Two burgers also served had the consistency of concrete so it would appear that standards are slipping back to the Cafe Hems days. Granted, the cafe was busy with outside visitors, but not with table seated guests so it's very sad. I hope for an improvement next time.

Slow service, sandwiches came with white bread when brown was ordered.

Wow! The best Victoria sponge and fruit tart we've ever had! As an added bonus the outdoor seating allows you to watch the planes and helicopters (inc Coastguard) flying in :) Would 100% recommend!

Great selection of cakes. Very popular but the staff did their best to cope with demand. An option for granery rolls/bread would be appreciated as the brown bread option looked a bit anaemic.

We haven't been here since it was the air ambulance cafe and we weren't disappointed. It's since had a lovely big extension which gives a lot more room and let's in loads of light so your able to see planes, mainly pleasure craft and helicopters (air ambulance and coast guard) take off. The staff were all lovely and helpful and the food was excellent. We had sausage and egg bap and bacon and egg bap. The bacon was lovely and crispy and the bap was huge! I was struggling to finish it towards the end but I did! And the latte we both had was really nice too. We'll definitely be back, probably next month (august) with my daughter and son in law.

Visited here today (April 7th 2024) bought chips for adults and we had our own sandwiches for the kids, an we was stopped from allowin the kids to eat as we didnt buy it from them, it rainjn, the wind is crazy so couldnt sit outside, will never visit again, think its disgustin considering how bad the weather was, an the looks the waitresses were giving us, like we have just kicked their dog, really un-polite, very rude

Went today and had a lentil and spinach burger....absolutely fantastic....the best ever xx

This cafe was simply great. Friendly staff, home cooked food, decent portion sizes, great aircraft entertainment. The homemade cakes were delicious. Good parking and clean toilets. A perfect pit stop.

Good selection of hot food, drinks and cakes, all at reasonable prices. Nice views of the airport from the tables so you can sit and enjoy a nice hot drink. Free parking with plenty of space, and just across from the Aviation Museum.

We often stop here for a drink whilst out walking. Staff are so friendly makes for a good visit. Today we saw the Coastguard helicopter taking off. What a sight but hope all went well for them.

We visited here this afternoon for a pit stop after a stay in Porthmadog. As my partner has a keen interest in the North Wales Air Ambulance I thought it would be something a little different for us to visit. The staff inside the cafe were lovely and the service was great. The cake selection is plentiful and their coffee is amazing. The seating outside is perfect for watching both the planes and the helicopters take off and land and makes for a great all round experience. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip.

Bring my children here often after a trip to the air museum. We love the views of the airport and very welcoming staff. We’d like to see more vegan options on the menu though. Oat milk, maybe dairy free cheese for sandwiches, a soup, a Sunday roast option, something vegan friendly with the pastries? Diolch!

Good food friendly staff well priced

Friendly staff and good food (quality, portions, and prices) with a view to the helipads and runway. Admittedly a fairly quiet airport mainly servicing pleasure flights, but also the home of the local air ambulance and some bigger coastguard birds. A great place to fuel up before or after visiting the aero museum across the parking area.

Good to know the money goes towards the Welsh Air Ambulance. Decent tea and snacks. Clean. Nice views of the planes and helicopters going to and from the sea and mountains.

We popped in for a quick snack after a photo shoot next door at The Air Ambulance. The coffee was excellent, and the lemon drizzle cake was so nice that I assume it was homemade!

We visited here today for lunch and we're told there wasn't any food left due to no delivery. People were being turned away.
