The best burritos in town, and the staff (Alice and Abdul) are very nice and friendly.

I went in again today, and once again, Abdul was there to serve me. He was polite, friendly, professional, and wonderful overall. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied. This was the best service I have ever received; I could not ask for more!

The best burrito in town by far.

The place was recommended to me by a friend. I walked past it a couple of times. Did not draw my attention. That's why I was very surprised how delicious and generous amount the food was for a very reasonable price, The service was kind and the atmosphere so good that we hung out there quite long. I'm very happy to recommend it to everyone 🙂

This Zambrero is awful. They always stuff up the vegan dishes. Tonight they put sour cream on my wife’s burrito bowl and so we’ve had to throw it out.

This place has the best Tex-mex food and is honestly my favourite place to get takeout. Myself and my partner go here often and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We are moving away soon and we will really miss this place. I would recommend it to anyone ☺️

The standard of the service has dropped along with the food. The portion sizes have become smaller and they charge for sauces now also which is a shame! It was my preference over chipotle but I suppose I have to go back to chipotle better value for money. Also the store staff is not the same as it used to be.

Food Hygiene & Cross-Contamination: Ladels are provided for all of the toppings, but when I went there at 12:45 on Tuesday 08 October 2024, the two servers ignored the ladels and instead used their hands to portion the cheese (Dairy) and then their hands to portion the vegetables. For people who are lactose-intolerant, have dairy allergies, are plant-based, or vegan, this is an issue. Furthermore, not only were the portions given miniscule (I asked for a portion of tomatoes and was given 5 or 6 diced cubes instead of a ladel), but when I confronted them about the cross-contamination, the guy just said "so?" After seeing that, I won't be going back.

I visited Zambrero Twickenham branch today. Staff member Anushree was Attentive and friendly.She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Provided I ordered classic bowl and taco duo, both items were delicious and fresh. I will definitely visit this place again. Must visit place when you crave for Mexican cuisine :)

I loved the restaurant, the food is delicious and the place very clean. Also Abu is the best person with wonderful customer service.

Food was OK, not wholly authentic but edible. The main issue was being overcharged. Ordered two regular burrito bowls to sit in but was charged the higher Deliveroo prices (receipt said 'Deliveroo' on the top). When questioned, there was no apology and it took us a while to get a refund, not just an offering of money off next time. Check your receipts!

Lots of reviews that seem fake. Staff in store will put through your order at Deliveroo prices and then offer a voucher. Very dodgy business practices. Portions very small.

Please check your receipts. Was charged 'Deliveroo' prices when in store and instead of offering a refund they tried giving me a voucher. Eventually got a refund. Very small portions and the least authentic 'Mexican' I've ever had.

This is the best burrito place in London that I have tried. I'm from the states and appreciate a good burrito but usually feel the regular contenders are quite underwhelming. The salsa Verde is my fav sauce. Also I really recommend the chicken!

Zambrero food and service is 10/10. Always fresh ingredients, love the option to add jalapeños. Consistently great staff, they are always friendly and welcoming. The kitchen looks clean and spotless.

Not a place for a romantic meal, but a quick bite to eat this is your place. Food is fresh, and reasonably priced.

Excellent non carne burrito! Probably one of the best I ever had. Fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced seasoning. Adding this review as staff was very very friendly for me so I guess there has to be some kind of second shift going on that ruins other people’s experience. Highly recommended

Cancelled my uber eats order after saying it was on its way. Waiting 45 mins.

Pathetic portion. Only filled 1 half of the bowl, so not good value for money. £12 for what is essentially a snack size meal was not good. Tasted okay though. Will stick with chipotle.

Sitting space is a bit tight but this place mainly caters to take away customers and Delivery types. Best Mexican bowls and burritos as an option to Chipotle but parking would be an issue at busy times.

£33 pounds for the worst sized food portioning, and the food was disgusting , the picture attached they had the nerve to charge £5 for half a bag of Morrisons home brand nachos. The worst food and so expensive, I do not know how they get away with calling their food Mexican, I’ve eaten authentic Mexican food in Mexico, and in the USA and nowhere, did I ever see, garlic cream sauce lol, the Mexicans would laugh there heads off; the worst thing was I fell for there photoshopped pictures and branding, and obviously they must have purchased a bulk load of reviews from a very unscrupulous review writer ✍️. I’m about to order a different takeaway as this is inedible. I wouldn’t at all recommend, do yourself a favour buy a tin of pet food eat that you would be better off

This place is exceptional, the tacos with barbacoa beef are addicting and the taste is a one of a kind masterpiece. The staff are kind, helpful and always get the order right. I am truly amazed at how delicious the food is and it is my favourite food place I’ve ever been to. I would eat there every day if I could.

I am disappointed, as there was a member of staff there that would give me discounts regularly. Bowl + juice for around £8-£9. But this is not the case anymore, last few times I went there was no discount and that member of staff was no longer there. What is going on with this? The staff member that gave me discounts in the past told me that people who come regularly get this discount.

I had a really tasty lunch here. It was a little pricey hence the 4 star rating but definitely worth checking out.

I always order from this place and had the small nachos which I always have, this time the nachos had hardly any sour cream or guacamole or the verde sauce, it had loads of veg chilli but none of the above, seemed they were made in a hurry, such a shame as normally they are piled high with everything and I highly recommend them.

Ordered two vegan burritos from deliveroo, honestly totally inedible! Nothing was seasoned, rice was stodgy and bland. Neither burrito ordered contained any seasoning or flavour, ingredients appeared low quality too. The price is expensive for how poor the quality is. We also ordered guacamole and tortilla chips (same as value chips from supermarket) really small portion and the guacamole was literally just smashed advocado, again no seasoning. Unfortunately I would recommend avoiding and saving yourself the disappointment.

I enjoyed the food, but it seems almost everything on the menu costs extra. Including the sauce which I hadn’t realised. So a £7.50 burrito bowl becomes £10 before you’ve even blinked. And although it was nice I have to be honest - I was still hungry afterwards!

We had the unfortunate experience of eating the burrito bowl, only to discover a hair pin in our food. Not the hidden ingredient we were hoping for!

I liked that there was nothing fancy about the place. I went, ordered and got my food. The food itself was pretty good and affordable as well! The ingredients seemed fresh and the server on duty, Hari, was very patient and polite. We ordered the Chilli Carne Quesadilla (which was great), the Summer Bowl and a Hard Taco with vegetables and chilli. The Summer Bowl was probably not worth the money but the other two were fantastic! Will definitely go there if I'm in the area again.

I had the vegetarian chilli burrito. It tasted great and ingredients were fresh despite ordering at 9pm. Staff were lovely and service was quick. I can’t believe someone was selfish enough to post a 1 star review from their 9 year old against a newly opened business.

Seems like a good place. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options. My girlfriend got the protein burrito and was got filled right in.

I heard good things about it so I ordered on Deliveroo. Unfortunately it was awful. Very mushy shredded chicken that seemed to have nutmeg or some type of sweet spice in the marinade (or in the salsa) that does not pair well with Mexican. I paid for double cheese on my nachos and it had barely any and it was unmelted, just sprinkled ontop (it was mostly inedible mushy chicken), there was very little sour cream, and no guacamole even though the menu says it is included. I ended up tossing my nachos and tacos in the bin.

The food was healthy and the atmosphere for eating is good enough to enjoy my meals and the staff was so polite😊

Says open until 10pm on the door but rude staff stared at us as we arrived to the store at 9pm wanting dinner. Very judgemental stares from employees as if they didn’t want to serve us even if they were opened. Extremely disappointed as made the trip all the way here craving a burrito.
