Caffè Nero in Manchester

Another unblended coffee, some Naristas are not very good at blending the coffee with the milk, also the last 3 shops we have been in the coffee flavour seems weaker than it used to be.

Not the best of Caffè Nero's but still very good.

The toilets absolutely stink. I don't think it's asking for much to have toilets that don't stink of urine and god-knows-what else - I felt so dirty and gross after using them.

As part of one of the better coffee shop chains this one is very good and very convenient.the staff are always friendly even though it can be slow at times.the coffe and food are great as usual.this one has one of the better outside seating areas as it's covered.however you do sometimes get mithered by beggars.convenient for public transport and the shops.

Sara was a great server made the best hot chocolate she deserves a raise :)

Their staff is very professionall and friendly always prefer them. Especially the white chocolate mocha is top of the list 👌

Good cafe, however I think the staff sometimes need to be a bit more mindful my partner is blind and the path to disabled toilet was full of boxes and stuff in the way. Was very difficult to get him to the toilet.

Service was good, the atmosphere was quiet for that time of day & managed to get a table with my food and a cup of coffee . There weren't many people in which was nice.

Lady who served me at around 5pm today had bad customer service skills, she was rude and bunged all my pastry into a big paper bag instead of into individual bags. Shes lucky the people i shared the food with did not have allergies otherwise this would be a serious issue. Cafe nero please train your staff on how to treat paying customers.

Homeless sleeping outside doors smell of urine as you walk in and toilets smell when your sat there eating or drinking.. must admit most staff are ok

Staff superb . Toilet's a disgrace

at peak time in the morning, one of the ladies behind the counter was just chatting and not working while the queue was building up. She then went outside for a vape just as I got to the ordering point leaving her colleague to cope with a growing queue. I got the feeling she was a supervisor but she doesnt deserve to have any job there as shes extremely lazy and rude. Awful.service.

yesterday I went to the Nero store in market Street Manchester. The manager Mario was very rude as he assumed I was lying when I said I have bought a 1L hazelnut syrup before from this every store. Last time the manager was the one to sell it herself. He didn't believe me and was very rude trying to send me out of the shop is was 19:50 and he wanted to closed the shop it was obvious. I am a regular customer at Nero's but moved to Spain and now like to take back the nero sensation with me as I love your coffees. This has really made me upset as I am flying in 3 days back home to Spain and drove 1 hour to Manchester to get this bottle. I usually always buy the bottome for 10.99£ and have done from many Nero stores for almost over 3/4 years. Can anything be done?. Mario needs some customer service training too as he was very rude.

Terrible Neros, its been gradually getting worse but now have to say worst one I've been in, empty cups all over the tables so had to have coffee in takeaway cups. Upstairs tables not cleaned, trays and cups everywhere (no wonder they didn't have any for our coffee) , very slow to serve, wouldn't give free coffee despite my loyalty card being full. Ladies toilet out of service, toilet blocked. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND DISGRACEFUL CONDITIONS AVOID THIS NEROS

this store always seems understaffed, every time i order Click&Collect, not only is it not there when i arrive, but they haven't even started it, it really seems like they dont care & they really should sort out the front of the store, it needs cleaning & painting.

Cheesecake and Latté - quite tasty. Service at the cash.... well, could be better. The barrista was wonderful!

The dirtiest coffee shop in city centre

Called in for a quick drink with a colleague in between meetings. Ordered drink and snack advised trainee batista I had a free drink. She put the costing through and hadn't taken the free drink off. I advised her of this to which she replied you can use it next time. I appreciate this but her attitude wasn't appropriate nor good customer service. Not as helpful or customer Fri as other Cafe Neros I have been to.

Toilets were not very nice or clean.

Came here on a Sunday morning with everything else closed. Barista was alone but managed to maje good coffees and food.

Absolutely love Caffe Nero, the effort put in to the food and drinks shows unlike other similar chains! Always my first choice when it comes to cafes. This Caffe Nero was great, just a bit dated atmosphere.

Have been coming to this particular café Nero for couple of years now, love sitting under the canopy, having a coffee and chatting, watching the world go by, even when it's raining. However, now its a completely different experience, and this is no reflection on the staff. The Company really needs to look at the state of the premises, and remove the Deliveroo scheme, it's attracting the wrong type of customer, no smoking signs need to be in a variety of languages as the signs are not getting the message across. The whole shop is disgusting, senior management really need to check the premises out, and bring this once nice coffee shop back to its former self. Clean, and welcoming.

This was a fantastic shop to get hot drinks at with my friend, harboring a classic design including the mirrors! The staff were friendly, the counter is well-presented and the service was solid for both a white and hot chocolate on my Tastecard discount. The seating is comfortable, cleanliness had been maintained and the frames add to the wall too!

Comparing my experience with LV store few minutes before coming to Nero cafe, in LV I faced an unhappy, not welcoming person, to buy a perfume for more than 250£, then came to Nero to buy a 4£ coffee, welcoming and smiling barisa and excellent customer service. Good job 👍 Thanks Moli

It is a chilled and friendly place. The coffee is great and the staff are lovely. Especially the young girl with the dark hair and the tall guy with dark hair. Very kind people thank you!

This Café Nero could do with a bit of money spending on it. It's a bit down at heel. Coffee was the standard fare. Staff were finding it difficult to cope with queues. My partner's cheese toastie was cold by the time my piping hot sausage buttie was ready which was a bit disappointing. However overall it served its purpose.

Always nice, today we had two large caramel biscuit lattes, the brownies & the milk chocolate cookie.

It's probably just a cafe nero thing - making the best hot drinks. The server was either forgetful or biased as she didn't serve me with any saucer, spoon, serviette and appeared to want me out of sight

Very hardworking staff, it's a shame that down and outs asleep on the upstairs chairs people just walking in to use the toilets and people abusing the hospitality of the free WiFi

It's a chain, but one of the better ones. Coffee is good and the cakes are great.

Rancid place. Flies everywhere, stains on the floor. Empty uncollected coffee cups ir trays on every table. Toilets totally unusable unless u had a biohazard suit. Place is that bad I wouldn't send BorisJ here.

out on a saturday doing bit of shopping when the wife and I decided to stop for a coffee seeing that it was a lovely sunny afternoon we decided to sit outside and do a bit of people watching. The one thing we noticed was how dirty the floor was with cigarette butt's / paper tissues all over the floor . Now yes this place gets busy as it's in a great location in Manchester city centre. but surely someone could go out and give the floor a quick sweep I mean how long we talking people 5 mins every so often to keep the outside as good as the inside so come on Caffè Nero don't just think about serving as many people as possible im sure people don't mind waiting abit if they know you are collecting coffee cups & plates & sweeping the outside. lets help keep Manchester clean and tidy so do your bit have a quick check ever hour on the outside It's a great place for relaxing as great coffees on offer & rolls & pastries. will go back for a coffee as overall its an ok place nothing special. and the prices are not that bad

The most disgusting Cafe Nero I have ever been. This is a disgrace and th3 place should be closed down. The smell coming out of the toilet, made my stomach turn. No hygiene at all. This will have to be reported to authorities and end this place once for all.

Very untidy with cigarette stubs in the entrance and dirty floors near the counter. Lots of tables that needed emptying and wiping down. Waited so long that eventually we walked out to a nearby Costa. Hygiene needs a massive improvement throughout the store

I asked the lady if she can give me an empty cup so I can split the hot chocolate between my kids and she told me to pay for 2 chocolates of 2.95 each, even tho I spent in total £15 as I ordered cakes etc. She wasn't any helpful, I'm sure she doesn't have kids and she was a bit rude too. I was very disappointed because I was going to Costa but I decided to go to Nero and while I was talking to this lady I almost left the queue to go Costa..but I didn't as I was going with 3 kids and 1 baby...

Visited for a takeaway coffee at 2ish just wanted to give recognition to the server dealing with the difficult customer ahead of me. Not every person is impatient and I thank your great service, coffee was delicious

Quite nice inside here with a big open front. I got a chai latte which was nice. Being on market Street this store can get pretty busy and you can wait up to ten minutes in line during the day especially around lunch.

Staff are kind, the place was clean and the coffee was fairly good! Quite nice to seat upstairs. Good overall.

The staff are very down to earth & kind and try to make up for the occasional long queue with their polite and kind words. Although, they sometimes get your orders wrong/mixed up.

Lovely and gorgeous. Good coffee and cake. Brown tables and big lamp shades. There's a mezzanine level with toilets off. The mens toilet was 'out of order' and being a man wanting a wee I was disappointed. So I used the ladies and no one said anything.

Love it here, the decor and mood of the place is gold. The team here is also really nice and accomodating. Finally, I loooove the passion fruit and mango Fruit booster.

We enjoyed a perfect latte and hot chocolate. Ample seating with the usual cafe Nero experience

It has been a difficult year due to pandemic and lockdowns but staff haven't changed their attitude towards customers:Always polite and friendly.

Much nicer, safer and cleaner than the one round the corner on Piccadilly Gardens

No longer takes cash (at all) which left my 85 year old Grandma without any way to pay for drinks. Totally understand that card is preferable at the moment but surely this should be subjective to enable people without cards to purchase drinks.
