Caffè Nero in Newham

Very nice service from the barista and the location is good since it’s in the station and a good spot to chill whilst waiting for your train. We had the pistachio latte and it was quite nice.

I used to buy cappuccino regularly, people working here in too rush mode . There is no love in their job at all All the time the cappuccino taste worst. I think the manager need to look in to it . Don't go here waste of time and money

Mid 40' europian lady just rude. May be she was having a bad day but all i know for a coffee shop u must be polite enough to bright someones day! I had two voucher which i got from my friend as i just ask what can i get with this' she replied didnt ur friend tell u what u can have with this!? Of u know why u asking" i was surprised also she was way rude to the co worker to train him... To u lady! This company pay u not to just be rude .. the young asian boy was very nice and polite

This is by far the best Caffè Nero in London. The ladies here are exceptional at making coffee, and friendly as well. My iced lattes and extra shot mochas are necessary to go about my day

Why is it closed for 15 minutes randomly?? So unprofessional and inconvenient lol. It was closed for longer than that aswell, had to leave it in the end

This is for 7th of January, 2024 I have crossed this Nero express a zillion times but I always chose to go the Cafe Nero outside the mall as that one is awesome. Not sure what happened to me yesterday that I thought of taking a coffee from here. The minute we reached we saw that one of the servers spilled coffee on a customer who was waiting to collect his coffee. I let that go as accidents happen all the time. Then my turn came to order and I wanted to try their new ‘Honey Oat Latte’, I asked if she could add some chocolate flavour to it and the lady (who was in burqa) was VERY RUDE and laughs at my face to say ‘no, we don’t do that’. She then continued mimicking this to her colleague. When the coffee was ready they just kept it on the counter without telling what or whose coffee was that. I think she expected me to dream about it. She needs to learn how to treat everyone respectfully first and then get into a business that involves dealing with customers every minute of her job.

Disclaimer: this review is for the other Cafe Nero Express Bar that’s by the entrance to Westfield. I have just left there extremely disappointed. I ordered a pistachio latte and had asked the server to add an extra pump of pistachio; not because I’m greedy but because I have had this issue before at a Cafe Nero where I’ve ordered a pistachio iced latte that barely had any pistachio in it. I wasn’t asking for a hand out, I wasn’t asking for it for free, I was happy to pay for it. Much to my surprise, the barista answered “no, I can’t do that because there’s no button on the till”. Really? Do we live in 1920s? Coffee lovers order off menu all the time, and yet Cafe Nero can’t add an extra pump of pistachio syrup? I’ve been such a loud and proud Cafe Nero supporter for the last 15+ years, actively promoting it, but I can’t lie, this experience has really, really left a bad taste in my mouth and somewhat disrespected as a customer.

Food is ok but the coffee is completely burnt 👀 I had to throw it because it’s impossible to drink. And they have a good coffee machine but I guess they are not using it right. Also I gave them a few chances and ordered different coffee in different days but it was the same.

I go to caffe nero here every morning before work and most of the workers are lovely but today 25/09/2023. The worker here had disgusting service and refused me to have oat milk uncharged even though i had the three £1 voucher code. I have lactose intolerance and she aired and argued with me it was very rude. Despite me having my code she wanted to charge me for a change of milk. All the other workers have amazing customer service but this girl was ridiculously rude. I was there at around 8am. Also, this chai latte was disgusting - tasted like cloudy milk and tasted nothing alike to the others.

Food - tried the croissants from here, they were fine. Coffee - nice/good. I usually get the Latte or Mocha Seating area - small seating area with hard seats and small tables. It is nice to have considering it is within Stratford station

This place is ALWAYS closed, at every attempt to come here. It’s 15.34 and it’s closed even though it says it’s still open on google

Hello, today I went to Sami to get coffee and I had a stamped com card and the girls told me that I had been there once before and I told them to show them where I got the ticket from and I said it's not fair to tell me that it can be fake, it's their duty to tell them check and let me be insulted in front of all customers and I work in something similar and when a client comes with a com card we are obliged to serve with the same quality as the others, no different, I didn't make a good coffee as usually I don't recommend

I didn't hear the barista call out my drink, and I quickly apologised, but she gave me a very rude look and rolled her eyes at me. I know it's frustrating when customers don't get their drinks immediately, but this customer service was just awful! Not to mention when I got there, she was facing away from me on her phone and didn't notice me waiting.

This place gives me the strength to get through a tough and long work day. In other words, the Americano (with no milk) I buy here keeps me awake.

Lovely little place. Great if you need a quick coffee before going to work.The staff is always very kind & polite. They handle queues very quickly & efficiently which is fabulous when you’re just about to be late from the office :) The girls definitely add a lot to the lovely atmosphere. ☕️🫖🧋

Terrible service with food. I hope they are following health and safety regulations while handling food. However, the staff is known for their terrible customer service at this store.

I had ask for a regular black coffee and I paid nearly £3 and the cup was regular and the coffee inside was for the small. It's not the first time I am having a coffee from Cafe Nero but it's going to be the last time from this branch.

There is a place to drink at the balcony, but it's reccommended to take out your drinks. Place is INSIDE the ticket barrier, so good for commuters. Tables seem rarely cleaned.

Lovely Italian guy served me a delicious grande cappuccino with Soya and extra chocolate. It was absolutely wonderful and the coffee wasn't bad either. Gratzie!

Flat white suitable for covid patients only. Otherwise ugly and probably with outdated milk. No microfoam. Was the only customer at a time and the service was poor. :(

I was standing in front of the counter you could clearly see i was about to order, i was checking a voucher o my phone and the lady behind rhe counter closed the coffe shop i front of my face, when i knocked and asked her nicely and explained i was going to work and i was just checking a voucher, she said " ok i will open in 20 minutes" Hotrible customer service, i left obviously but i will never buy there again

On the 08/07/2021around 7:45AM , I went over to that so called coffee shop and I asked for a simple Iced Cappuccino.The extremely rude short and bald barista purposely gave me a hot cappuccino ,after I told him that I asked for a cold cappuccino not a hot one he replied with a smirk on his face in front of the other customers << I put some ice cubes inside >> he obviously didn’t .After that I stepped on the side in order to let the other customers place their order and I overheard him making fun of me with his female colleague barista and they were bragging on how they tricked me by saying that he put ice cubes inside. All of these was happening in front of the other customers. This is unacceptable, I could have easily caused a scene over there but at least I respect the other customers who are in a hurry to get to their jobs .Trust me if no one was around I would have made a big scene , the police was also close by .Next time I will come again and I will collect as much evidence as I can in order to shut this brothel down. Either fire that short and balding barista and get someone who is trained and respectful to the customers, or Karma will get back at you.

Typical cafe Nero but clean and tidy. Coffee is as you would expect and food is ok as well. Staff are friendly and helpful and convenient for a quick catch up or grabbing a quick bite to eat.

Unfriendly service, coffee pistol was not properly cleaned hence residu in my espresso.

They don't even know how to make a decent drink. Every time I go there, the hot chocolate tastes soo bitter, even after extra chocolate was requested. Terrible. Cafe Nero at Westfield Stratford city branch is wayyyyy better than this rubbish old station coffee shop.

Visited this location two weeks ago at Westfield Stratford City mall with my aunt. As usual, it was very busy. The location was well lit and clean. There were comfortable recliners and tables along the wall. There are also many wall outlets to charge up laptops and phones. There are pastries and hot drinks available for purchase. Baristas are friendly and professional.

I’ve always found the staff to be courteous and polite here. Quick service, and well made coffee, too.

Small Italian chain cafe. Great location inside of the main Stratford underground/railway Station. Very clean, peaceful place and a lot of space around. Very convenient for transit travellers, railway users who change lines and trains there. Also good for meeting friends there as this place is usually not crowded and not busy and small. Great coffee. Great location between tube and railway and overground platforms. Space to put big bags next to your table, etc. Also it is very close to Westfield Shopping centre, about 1 minute walk to its entrance

Friendly staff at this stand in the station, Cafe Nero get it right here unlike some of their rather dingy shops around London.
