Caffè Nero in Wigan

Visited Today...Shocked at the rude bad mannered and abrupt attitude towards my husband from Rachel...Hope she never speaks to another customer like that....He only went to the counter for food he paid for was polite...so why the attitude....

The employees' behavior is not nice at all and they do not listen to people... We had a child with us and they did not listen even though we informed them that they have dog phobia. Also, the employees are not good at cleaning, they play with the animals that come in and prepare drinks for us with their dirty hands.

The best coffee place. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Run by a equally brilliant, approachable and friendly manager.

Lovely staff lovely flat white, the Italian buns are definitely worth a try. Please make gluten free ones too as they are so good

Staff here are lovely...and there is usually at least one visiting dog to pet. Standard Nero fare.

I was in Q more than 10 minutes befor i get service my 2 friends ben told to leave thy dont have table for costomer befor and after me in queue and they were so racist in all that people we ben told to live i ben going there for 6 years 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I went in just to drink coffee, and I did not expect that the staff was so friendly, and the coffee is very tasty. I am very satisfied, I will come again

Love this coffee shop. The only one I visit when in Wigan. I only drink white coffee or espresso there and it's ....delicious. The ambience there is to be savoured so I never get a takeout. The staff are great & friendly.

Didn't eat here but had my usual coffee..nice staff, good coffee.

Absolutely lovely staff here. Very happy to help and friendly....Really hope you appreciate the work these people do and don't treat them like just a number. The staff make the store, don't forget that Cafe Nero!

Pop in not been before always gone to Costa coffee I was surprised with taste aroma it was good the place was busy staff were great yes I will be going again

Was unfortunately running out of oat milk. But we're beyond apologetic. Much more friendly than my usual coffee spot in Brighton. Definitely be back on next visit

Brilliant place to have a coffee, relaxed and chilled environment with friendly staff. I didn't have food, just go for the coffees but still great. Went in today again as usual 27.06.2023 the staff always go above and beyond. Thanks Thanks

Big shout out to the 2 staff on Sunday 11/6/23 friendly and helpful with every customer, even though it was a Very Busy morning. Great example of exceptional Customer Service even getting someone a bowl of water for their dog.Hope your boss recognises how hard you work !

Friendly staff and a lovely relaxing place to have a coffee

Horrible toilets for a chain like this. Men’s toilet upstairs is blocked and the handle to flush is also broken. There is only one tiny basin for both toilets. There is hardly any water coming from the hot tap so you wash your hands using the little with little water. The taps are so close together due to the tiny size of the basin that you don’t have space to wash your hands properly. There is a big dog walking around on the ground floor. I have given two stars just to be fair cause I didn’t stay to try the service. What are people doing in a dirty place like this? I can only think it’s due to lack of options.

Nice coffee shop, nice atmosphere and great for people watching. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that they are always very slow at clearing the tables.

Absolutely love this store. I would give the service 10 stars if I could. The staff are friendly and down to earth and literally never stop most of the time! It's so busy! Granted I go in almost everyday but the staff know exactly what I want every time! The cakes are delicious and I eat them way more than I should. Rate the coffee more than starbucks and Costa and its cheaper so win-win. Shop is always lovely and clean! There's quite a few of us regulars and it's a lovely atmosphere having a giggle. If I'm having a bad day I know a cafe nero will cheer me up in more ways than one. Thank you all! Give them a nice Christmas bonus! 😃 I'll take a weekend job if it's going 😆

My daughter and I visited Cafe Nero in Wigan today (3/12/2022). My drink, Vegan Cinnamon Swirl was lovely. My daughters drink, Luxury Chocolate, was just a hot chocolate with a swirl of cream on. Hardly luxury for £4. Very disappointing. My daughter said it tasted of coconut, so we are pretty sure it was made with coconut milk. However, what was disgusting was the way the only male Barista there, spoke to us. Very abrupt and rude, with a face that would sink a ship. Even worse was the way he and the dark-haired Barista were speaking, particularly in front of customers. Stating that they were sick of working fast because it just encouraged more customers to go in; they might as well for slow because they were sick of all the people that went in, then maybe some of them would get fed up of waiting and leave. I'm so glad that this isn't my business with staff like that. Clearly, they don't care as long as they get their wage at the end of the week/month. Cafe Nero has always been a cafe I have enjoyed going into, even the though the female manager is always miserable. But I certainly won't be going in again and I will make sure as many people as possible know about this. Hey Ho Baristas, if I pass this around maybe you will get rid of a lot of your customers. That should make your day eh!!!!!

Cafe Nero Wigan is a very nice coffee shop. The staff are friendly and efficient , they always have time for a chat. Of all the coffee shops the coffee here is by far the best and I’ve tried all the others. Really enjoy visiting when I can.

I prefer this place to Starbucks or Costa the staff are friendly and the shop is well appointed even if a bit too small. It does get very busy at times. There's an outside "Terrace" as well if the weather permits (OK, OK, OK it's actually 4 or so tables and chairs chucked out on the pavement!). But still.....Nice cappuccino

Just been in to cafe nero, spent 5 minutes in the queue behind one person, neither of us where served, and the tweens behind the counter were having an argument that the company doesn't pay them enough. I exited and came to starbucks, got service with a smile.
