Caffe Nero in Luton

I had a very unpleasant experience on the 29th if May at 5 pm with a member of staff. She did not want to aguye me her name when I asked her : blonde, brown eyes. There was one member of staff dealing with 6 customers doing coffees. And another 2 members of staff with no customers just wiping surfaces. They said they cannot charge me for a salad to go to one colleague serving all the customers. They were chatting and wiping looking at the que. Then their busy colleague asked the blonde lady to charge me. She started to snap at me rudely saying we work hard here you need wait. This was very unpleasant and poor customer service. I work for an airline and I do not speak like this to customers

Today I was served by Paulina, made not only very nice cup of coffee , but also fantastic service. Shop is so cosy, fully stocked - I enjoyed every minute with my cuppa in the corner.

Terrible and rude service - wouldn't recommend! Also their pastries are dry and old. Works if u are desperate for coffee.

Really disappointed with the service I received at cafe Nero today. I was ordering as one does and this worker who was I assume Indian was quite rude when I was trying to answer the questions about the drink I was ordering. She told me “to stop screaming” when I repeated something because she couldn’t hear me when I repeated it back 5 times. I did not shout I just repeated it louder so that she could hear me. She then decided to walk off and huff and puff. She also proceeded to chuck my drink and leave it there instead of giving it to me. Extremely disappointed with the customer service I received here and will be going the cafe Nero complaint department about this lady. Extremely unhappy with what happened and this seemed to be a racially motivated incident as she saw I was evidently hijabi and her colleague legit was shocked at her behaviour.

I was served by an Asian lady who was quite rude in how she served as I asked for a cappuccino and before I was able to ask for my next drink she turnt her back to make that drink, then when she turnt back to the counter I tried asking her two/three times for my next drink but she was too busy starting a conversation with her colleague she then tried to finalise the first drink and I had to ask again to add to my order. She then made it longer by not loading up the card reader while she got the food and placed a drink directly in front of us and we assumed it was the one we were waiting for and bluntly told us it wasn't. I then had to go back to ask another colleague to put chocolate on top as she didn't listen to that request. Could have been alot smoother service... as another review states all the chairs/space are taken by people sleeping.

The place has people sleeping in who don't seem to be costumers. Very very dirty. A lot of electricity sockets don't work. The advertised opening hours are completely wrong. Probably one off the worst Neros in UK.

Great service overall. Cleanliness is fine & staff is helpful!

A good place to wait for the flight, coffee, sandwiches, porridge, all very delicious, tables and chairs are also very comfortable

Milena was such a wonderful person. Smiling, talkative, fast on service and on point with reccommendations. :) Guy with machiato, and then hot chocolate. :) I always go there when I fly from Luton. :))

Breakfast deal advertised but not on their system . After waiting in a queue for a long time to pay full price on coffee and bread.

Had a great brownie and a coffee there. One really friendly and nice waitress called Nicole Tomusiak helped me find my passport. She showed me where the lost and found was and thanks to that I made it to my flight! Thank you so much 👌

They keep telling you they’re closing the area but it’s a lie. Just sit down. They have no authority to tell you not to if you bought something. The minimum wage workers all own the store don’t think about double crossing them they’ll scare you!

I get flights from here quite often and the two gals who work the night / early morning shift are ALWAYS so lovely. Like not many people can put me in a good mood at 4AM!!!! Iol. I actually love coming here before a flight. Always puts me in a good mood

I’m in awe to see that the guy from this cafe did not charge me for the cup of milk I asked for (I was willing to pay) for my toddler daughter’s bottle 🥰. Small gesture that can make someone’s day, specially after long day of traveling

We had ordered a porridge at Nero caffe in Luton airport arrivals hall, it was so watery like soup, when we reported the issue to the manager of the shop she said it was our fault that we didn’t order thicker porridge. We don’t want thicker porridge we want normal porridge not a soup. She didn’t even apologize, such an awful service. Never use it again.

Zoya was awesome, a perfect blend of professional and friendly, just like the coffee she served. Really enjoyed my brief interaction with her; we need more lovely folks like this manning jovs in the all-important service jobs) sectors. There was a Polish lady who was also very helpful, but didn't have time to catch her name. Well done, Nero Luton Airport!

Woman working with black hair refused to heat up my sandwich. Even though every other cafe Nero heats it up.

Comfortable airport café with relaxing music and friendly staff. Coffee is okay but could be better.

Awful. Rubbish everywhere for the duration of our stay. No place to sit as commuters flat out sleeping on sofas in seating areas. Music was horrendous, sounded like a Disney soundtrack.

Well my flight was delayed and was happy to find a plant based sandwich at Cafe Nero. Hot chocolate was good too, definitely worth a visit when at Luton airport.

Not the greatest service from Nero. Staff here need to learn how to smile and be more pleasant. Drinks are good, nice seating area. Needs better service.

“Caffe Nero” which is located at London Luton Airport offers a variety of the Italian coffee. On the second day of summer, I ordered Americano coffee and a plain croissant. The Italian coffee with the butter croissant were fresh and delicious. I was served by a very pleasant member of "Caffe Nero" staff who explained to me the difference between Regular and Large Americano which is two shots for regular and three shots for large coffee. The service was fast and excellent. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxing to hide from the crowds of rushing passengers. Besides there was classical music playing in the cafe. There are also cosy tables and chairs and even books on the shelves inside, so you may enjoy a wonderful Italian coffee and spend a nice time there. There is also an opportunity to get your tenth coffee absolutely free by collecting stamps. Thank you for your service and pleasant experience.

I love Nero cafe but today I had a cappuccino to and it taste worst and it is so expensive

We took 2 macchiatos paid 6.5 pounds ,very good quality coffee in comparison to other places in london ,even bought nesspresso capsules to try them home,the survice is extra friendly

Love Nero’s but the experience on the 19/04/24 at this particular branch was poor. The female barista who served me was rude. I requested a extra hot flat white which was served luke-warm. When I requested the error be rectified the female assistant became agitated & rude telling me she did not hear my request? You could tell it bothered her to remake the drink & then she gave me a dirty look when i mentioned this to her colleague who refused to stamp my loyalty card.

Amalia made me the best coffee i ever had! She is so nice and kind, i was feeling so tired but she made me smile in a second! Thank you Amalia, you are the best!

Great service! Came to ask for some hot water to make my child's food and the staff were excellent and helped me straight away!

They don't know how to put the coffee. Even though it is a machine, the proportions are wrong. We asked for a latte and they gave us a simple Americano. The "coffee" was not half full and they charged us 7 euros. Sucks if you really like coffee and don't want to throw up on the flight. PS: The worker is not to blame for anything.

The stained was very bad, very expensive and it fills you half. You couldn't even drink it because it was so bad, it didn't matter how much sugar you added. I don't recommend drinking coffee here.

Caffè Nero’s Millionaire’s hot chocolate really made me a hard core fan of them. Recommend that to every hot chocolate lovers.

Shame for the company There is no space for costumers to sit and eat People are sleeping on all seats and keep their luggages on chairs😡 Luckly we were served by two nice stuff who found one table for us to sit🌹 This place looks like camp 😮‍💨

Today I had an amazing coffee, served by a tall guy. Was good enough that i went for another one 😂. Thank you Nero usually coffee chain at airports are always bad copy with bad services and burned milk. But your baristas didn't disappoint.

3 employees behind the bar, nobody în the queue and I'm sitting here with my pregnant wife for 10 min for service. Ignored by the staff completely.

The coffee is really excellent, I am very happy to find the mini panettone cake all year round, as I love it. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

La peggiore esperienza, mi sono recato Nero visto che è uno dei migliori,per avere un latte prima del mio volo ieri mattina! Mi servano un latte vado per mettere lo zucchero e vedo che ci sono dei grumuli Bianchi l odore era disgustoso il latte era andato a male aveva un gusto terribile,imbarazzato sono tornato per chiedere di cambiarmi il drink, La ragazza che non ricordo il nome molto gentile me ha rifatto mah la situazione era la stessa questo latte aveva delle bolle bianche che si formavano! Ne ha rifatto 3 differenti ma la situazione era la stessa quando chiesi di avere un americano a quel punto per paura di perdere il volo e star male!!! Durante il mio viaggio è stata un esperienza sgradevole

The guy that serves us today was amazing, completely doing the extra mile! Food was very good and fresh. Store was very clean and organized. An amazing experience, thank you 🙏🏻

Actually surprisingly ok coffee 🤣 the kids had a salted caramel and pistachio frappe. Cost me an arm and a leg, but they loved it. What this gets bonus points for is the library in the middle of the seating. Need a book to read? Here's a whole bunch! There's a huge range of all sorts. Nice touch!

No meio de tantas opções no Aeroporto de Luton essa cafeteria também é uma das boas opções. Tem preço justo e não é tão movimentada, consegue se retirar seu pedido rapidamente. Para quem quer fugir um pouco das opções comuns vale a pena conferir esse estabelecimento.

Always similar quality and good service

Coffee and food brought to table with water or even homemade palette cleansers. A great place to hang out for a relaxing cup of coffee and tasty sandwiches.

As always the best in Luton Airport.
