Caffe Nero in Stockport

It's a quiet coffee shop in Stockport Town Center. It's not crowded and the staff were friendly, the taste of coffee is good. I ordered a pistachio latte, and unlike what I drank at the Disbury branch, it does not have pistachio itself, but it tasted good. It also smelled like pistachio. Maybe it was added pistachio syrup. If you want to enjoy a cup of coffee in a quiet atmosphere when you visit the Stockport Town Center, I recommend this place.

Sweet music, good prices and amazing staff. Also the presence of a toilet is anhuge olus for such a small cafe.

Enjoyed decaf cappuccino but didn't really enjoy the cinnamon croissant. To be honest I only went because of free coffee from Octopus offer. Thank you Octopus (energy suppliers)

This was a regular coffee spot for me. Last week was awful. One server and one making orders for phone ins. No-one on table clearing. Very long wait. I put it down to unexpected staff shortage. This week was worse. One server long queue and very long wait. Enough is enough. There are other places to go.

Awful Cafe . Staff not interested, zero customer service or experience. Staff continually changing and no continuity Today a staff member had headphones on whilst behind the counter and absolutely zero interest in customers I work in hospitality and rarely complain This café is in a busy town centre and lots of competition about Area Manager has a duty to recruit and retain staff who are interested in being a barista and also have basic skills at saying hello, thank you and good bye Awful cafe

The cafe tends to be quite quiet, so it is a nice place to go to complete some work and/or study. Admittedly, the quality of coffee is not as good as other Café Nero locations, but the service is always friendly and efficient. There are plugs available for charging and free wi-fi. Only complaint is that the cleanliness of the place could be improved, however overall it is a nice spot.

Lovely cafe, always friendly despite how busy they get! I got served by Izzy today, she had a lovely positive energy and made fab drinks. We usually like to visit Independent places but if you're needing somewhere that you know is going to be a solid shout, you can't go wrong here. My only grumble would be that they could probably do with having an extra member of staff around, queues are always long and empty cups can pile up on tables.

The vegan chocolate and Biscoff cheesecake is INCREDIBLE!!! I like the rewards app! Also you can get more freebies by getting a free My Waitrose card and linking your account to it! However my mocha wasn’t good at all, definitely wouldn’t recommend unfortunately. Customers weren’t able to use crockery so the coffee had to be in a takeaway cup which is more waste. Pricey too and oat milk isn’t free unfortunately - although soya milk is!

First of all I was so happy to see Cafer Nero in Stockport. I wasn’t happy with the service at all. The women won’t let me scan my Cafe Nero app for me to claim my point, she had black hair overall the service was 0.

Lots of choice available. I received very quick service. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. This cafe has a cosy atmosphere.

Came in for latte and cappacinno some cake. While the cakes were amazing, the coffee let them down. It tasted burnt and in my friends latte all you could taste was frothy milk with a hint of burnt coffee. Cafe Nero has gone down hill over the years and especially for the price.

Manger is excellent-polite, knowledgable and serves great coffees. Café is comfortable and clean. The atmosphere on a Sunday morning is relaxing with classical music always playing in the background.

Went there yesterday to get some lunch with friends and was served by a lovely young woman named Anna. Very easy going and polite. Food was nice to have while sitting and chatting.

For the first time I was disappointed with my drink. Asked for a pistachio iced latte to take away couldn't taste the pistachio at all to the point it was like it was never added.

The place felt dirty, and the tables needed a wipe down. I had a pastry that I left as it was stail. The coffee was OK.

Nice little spot for a coffee and cake before enduring the shopping. On the Sunday I visited with my mum and sister, the service was good and team nice and polite. My only drawback was the toilet key and pot. I wanted to wash my hands after using the key as it has probably been used by many people and not all are totally clean. It is also put next to be the serving trays. Maybe put a different system in...key code entry or something. Apart from that, all was pretty good.

Been a couple of times here in previous trips to this town centre and a good location from the main set of high street stores, a big shop space for lots of seating to be found, regular queues and stuff available as at other stores, though this is the only one in this area of town. Great for a quick stop off while one are in town and more.

Luke watm coffee. The customer in front of me returned his asking for it to be hotter. Probably select an independent rather than being disappointed here.

Rubbish, only me and another person waiting, two staff making up coffee & snacks, both to busy dealing with on line orders, surely if you are in the store, you'd like to think that you would be served first. I walked away after waiting over 15 minutes, without being acknowledged.

A quiet café at the end of the Merseyway shopping centre. Larger inside than it's exterior suggests.

I was here with my 3 year old son and my friend and after ordering 17£worth of drinks and food to sit in , we were asked to leave the shop because my son was crying and apparently that made people walk out of the coffee shop?! First of all I have never felt so bad in my entire life , nobody has ever asked me to leave the place from anywhere I’ve been because of my child crying, and that’s not even a thing to say to someone as a costumer ! Is this place not child friendly?! What will other moms do when their child cries in the middle of a coffee or food outside? Being asked to leave ?! That’s just Yuck !

Sunday August 2nd 2020 Whilst the Coffee and food were very good, No complaints there ! However, they were let down by a shortage of staff and a lack of cleaning and keeping on top of necessary work. In fact there were several customer who had to clean and sanitise tables before they could sit down to enjoy their snacks and/or coffee. Very disappointing. Although social distancing was maintained and tables were set well apart, there was a complete failure to clean regularly and keep on top of the situation due purely to insufficient staff.
