Caffè Massarella in Enfield

I have been in massarella on quite few occasions, I was really happy with the quality of the drinks and the sweets before, but today I have been really disappointed. There were 3 ladies working, only 1 customer before me and I have waited for about 15 minutes to be served. The lady that made the so called oat milk latte did make no effort and the coffee turned out awful. I had the feeling I am drinking only the oat drink, coffee was non existent. Neither I could feel it or see it. My friend ordered cappuccino, the problem was the same, she could barely taste the coffee. I have also ordered a brownie. It was the so sweet, I couldn’t eat it. I have paid £4 for it and left it. The women working were so unwelcoming, almost rude. It was all over their faces they hated being there, I couldn’t imagine complaining about my order, I feel I was going to get killed in a cold blood. One thing I am sure about, I am not coming back, hated the coffee, hated the sweets and hated the hostile attitude of these “hard working individuals”. The boss to take a friendly advice, these people are killing your business, there are plenty of hard working people who would take their places and do a way better job, free these ladies to enjoy their retirement.

Nice little cafe. Good coffee and food. Friendly though service could be better.

I had my usual coconut cappuccino in Masserella today, served by the lovely Rose, I love the way that she makes everyone feel so welcome by her friendly manner and smile. Great customer service and we all like her. She certainly puts a smile on my face. It's a wonderful place to come to and relax on my own or when meeting friends.

Lovely hidden place to take a shopping break in Enfield town. Staff are so lovely

Rude rude rude service earlier today. Never had that in this cafe before. Need to train staff better or manager should talk to them. Even if under stress you can’t be aggressive to customers.

My wife and I had a great little lunch in Cafe Massarella this afternoon. My wife's sourdough toasted cheese chutney sandwich was well very tasty whilst I had the best almond croissant I'd had for ages. Nice tea and mocha too. All served by two very helpful and pleasant assistants.

Clean surroundings with very friendly staff. My friend and I ordered the sourdough bread with melted cheese and a side salad and a lovely cup of capacchino. Will definitely be returning whenever I am shopping in the area.

First class food and coffee, a true taste of Italy.

Great Coffee Great Service ALWAYS

This spacious, comfortable and filled with natural light from the windows, coffee place, is inside Pearsons Department store in Enfield. Serves great coffee and toasties as well as good substantial salads. The cake selection is very continental and like home made Italian patisserie. Great stop off place whilst shopping. Highly recommended!

Took a trip on Thursday 7th of March &waited over 15mins in the queue for 2 cups of tea.... Staff were very much on a cloud of their own One of them was singing which I think was not very professional ! Cups were dirty & I think it's not what it used to be 😐

The cafe looks out into the market square and the decor is nice but the service is incredibly slow. I am always reluctant to go for that reason. Last time, one member of staff served while another let me stand there waiting for ages as she unloaded a few glasses very slowly. She knew I was there but failed to acknowledge me. When I was served the serviettes were ceased and the cups had dried out bits on them presumably from the dishwasher. You may wonder why I return.... positive points are that the tea is reasonably priced, good quality and there is usually a good selection of cakes & snacks on offer.

Very impressed with the service and staff especially Rose with her very warm and welcoming smile. Coffee and food is very good as well!
