Caffe In in Tower Hamlets

Great sidewalk café that I happened upon while walking in the neighborhood. Tried a couple different cake slices, the lunchbox cake, orange poppyseed, and the Victoria Sponge. All were just as delicious as they looked in the window(and they were stunningly beautiful)! As soon as I left, I regretted not trying a sausage roll as well, they looked as great as the rest of the baked goods!

These cousins have a lovely shop and some really good cakes. Go and visit!

One of the best places to get cakes in London hands down! Creative, handmade, toothsome and colourful. Nice staff too, very professional.

This place is phenomanal. The chai latte was one of the best I’ve ever had. The food was fresh and delicious. We ate the handmade vegan sausage roll and it was delicious. The owner is super nice. 10/ 10 I would recommend !

I don’t like to do this but I have been a regular customer here for a couple of years now. Paid £7 for a ‘’pastrami’’ Sandwich and this was the measly bit of meat in one half of the sandwich. £7 for cheese and bread. I’ve also been charged a different amount for a ‘Iced coffee’ every time I have ordered one. Overpriced, under filled sandwiches and being charged whatever amount they feel like at the time. Robbers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

I have been going here for coffee and cake for a few years. The staff are very friendly, the cakes are excellent (I recommend the orange and poppy seed)and their Mocha’s (my drink of choice) are great.

Passed across this address and really liked it ! The staff was really nice. Got a smoothie and a blueberry handmade cake that was delicious. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area again

Food is presented all nicely but tastes terrible. Probably one of the worst sausage rolls i have ever eaten in my life - absolute garbage. The Lemon, chia and pistachio cake was sub par as well - dry, stale and hard. Would not recommend.

Lovely place - the salt beef Beigel is amazing (loads of meat, pickles and mustard) as is the chicken wrap. Don't even think about going to the shysters next door - they're just a carpentry shop that were impossible to get hold of / get toake anything then opened up their office to be a rival to this lovely place.

Nice little sandwiches, and healthy options. They’re a little messy to eat (and it’s take-away only) so maybe don’t wear white!

I got an iced latte with oat milk and hazelnut syrup, it was a tad too sweet for my liking. The banana and chocolate loaf was nice. Gave an extra star as the server was friendly

Walked past on the way to the flower market and saw the cakes, on the way back I stopped to get a brownie and an orange poppy seed cake, the lady who served me was very friendly and told me they were home made. Both cakes delicious especially the orange poppy seed which was moist and tasty. I will get more next time I am in the area!

Avoid On first impression cakes looked amazing fluffy and tempting. Tried the carrot cake and iced coffee Cake was dry coffee was bitter and low quality. Wont be back.

I just had the driest vegan pistachio raspberry cake from here which is such a shame! Their vegan sausage roll is great but this was inedible. And cost £3.90.

An amazing hole in the wall café. Only take out with a great selection of food with an amazing tuna melt and freshly squeezed orange juice. Great location close to columbia flower road market and a park. For £12 you get a wonderful coco loco smoothie and the tuna melt. Great quality!

I have never gotten a chance to explore Hackney much but this was a find for me! Was around the area for some work and as I crossed this tiny little take out I saw a plethora of cakes on their desk. I just had to stop! 10 am in the morning and you find just a perfect little hideout for cakes n coffee! I went for the banana chocolate bread and the moment she cut it I found a chocolate sponge too. But went with banana, moist, yummy and fresh! The slice costed me 3.90gbp. The coffees are also decently priced! What really caught my attention was it was run by two women and by just having a takeout they have saved so much of their time and make it just a quick grab and grow!!!! Must try when on Hackney Road

Good coffee and great comfort food. Everyone who works here is super nice aswell. There are nice benches you can sit on and people watch outside but in general you can’t sit in

I come to this place just for the cakes. Quality atmosphere and the aroma of the cakes is out of this world.

I had the chicken wrap. It was delicious. Warm, saucy, tangy gherkins, hummus…one of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back! 🤤

Some delicious autumnal apple & walnut loaf from Caffe In on Hackney Road today. Good bready texture and the right amount of sweetness & spice. Have also tried the orange & poppyseed cake and carrot cake which are also good. All their cakes are home made and they have a large variety! Good coffee too. Recommend you check them out!

The coffee and cake is really good some of the shops on Broadway can take note. They always do a fresh brew cakes are super fab and not just factory bakes. Staff are always super friendly too

Quality ingredients, nice range of food, drink and produce. Menu could be more vegetarian friendly (let alone vegan) but £6.50 got me a nice wrap. Would've loved some mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes in it!

Bad customer service. I try to avoid using non recyclable cups so I ask for my coffee in a flask, they don't want to do that here because of covid, that's fine but they also refused to give me the coffee in a normal cup so I could decant it and told me the takeaway cups are recyclable which they very clearly aren't

Great coffee, lovely owners, and tasty food! We go by every other day as a treat, particularly during COVID. More grab and go options available now, including a delicious bulgur salad that is a favourite lunch side dish in our home. They are also our chorizo and goat cheese source!

Cute Caffe, with really tasty coffee. Not expensive. 2.70£ for a cappuccino.

Very rude staff who told us only after we paid for our coffees that we were not allowed to use laptops in the space during the weekends. This is not suitable for students or for anyone who wishes to use their laptops. Adopting ‘old school’ rules but still charging people 3,40 for a latte - if we play by 50s rule, give me a 1 pound drink then.

Cosy little cafe although when space is limited on a Sunday morning, you may have to move from the sofa to a table if there is only two of you. My friend and i has flat white coffees on this occasion but the other cooked breakfast items looked and smelled delicious!

Great cafe near the park, coffee is good the people are really nice and is super cozy. Also the chocolate shortbread cookie was awesome :)

Went in to have a coffee and ended up having delicious homemade apple and walnuts cake and blueberry cake. They were so good, I don't regret anything! Also, the portions are extremely generous.

I went here for breakfast a while ago, they brought me the wrong order and then asked "you don't want this then?", as if I should accept it anyway. Coffee was burnt and service was bad. Needless to say I won't be going again.

Quaint little cafe doing coffee and tea with an assortment of cakes and pastries until about 6pm. WiFi available and comfortable to do a bit of quiet work although not much space to perch up for a little while.

Very nice and chill place. Small, cozy, very good coffee and nice cakes. I get the impression it's a family business, which is super nice, just as the staff are. There's a small fee for card payment but more than happy to pay it for the very good service and just how cool the place is :)

Everything from the eggs (which the waiter told me are meant to be hard) to the soggy "muffin" and old tasting sausage was atrocious. Couldn't eat any of it and the staff didn't even apologise or offer any sort of compensation, very Dissapointing.. Don't let the decor fool you , A wolf in Sheeps clothing if you like.

Visited Caffe Ina couple years ago and have fond memories of it. While walking through Shepherd Streetwe came across the coffee shop and decided to see what it special.The path leads you through a courtyard to the back where the main dining location is at. A nice cafe tables was perfect for the sunny summer afternoon.
