Delicious meal! 🔥 I enjoyed the chicken escalope, which is like a chicken burger* Very tasty local spot!! Have visited multiple times by now, highly recommend 👌🏻

Amazing spot!!! As a regular, I love the range in the menu and personalization offers in the meals. My go-to order is the traditional English breakfast or sometimes, just a simple sausage, chips and beans :) Looking forward to trying the chicken escalope next! a freshly made speciality. Tasty food! And honestly, very good prices for the portions and quality. Not sure why people complain about the prices, compared with all other cafes, its the same and sometimes other breakfasts are even more expensive in some places that are not even located in central London.

TASTY, FAST PACED, NOT WANTED EXTRAS Very tasty food and the lady will get you seated on the double. We asked for 2 pannis and 2 teas, all great but there was a salad and chips added? We weren't hungry for it and left it. Which I was then told was an extra £1 but was decuted from the bill as we didnt eat it... can you deduct something that wasn't ordered? Would have been 5 stars but lost 2 due dishonesty, just put it on the menu as an extra. Treat your customers better.

Cute little food shop with nice food.

I had a mixed rap. The food verse good and the owner was from Morocco I guess. I felt like some people didn't get how they have priced their food. If you talk to him he will get friendlier and explain. The food was nice and they have room to improve their menu and how they present.

Misleading prices! Absolute rip off. Prices quoted are supposedly for takeaway only, not that it says that anywhere! They add £5 for chips and salad when you eat inside, despite not asking for it. Then don't ask you to pay until at the end, hence too late to walk out. Avoid. They don't deserve your money.

OMG, the worst decision I made today was stepping into that place 😐 Totally not worth the money… I ordered the BBQ chicken wrap, and honestly, it was hard to find any meat in it 😳 And it wasn’t cheap — I paid £11.95 (with chips, because I thought he was asking about cheese). Just finished eating and I’m still hungry… Trust me, it’s not worth it.

This place was incredible. The guy behind the counter was one of the nicest guys we met in London, and the food was so good. We came in around 1:30 am after leaving a jazz club and he was so nice and inviting. We came in and the rest of my group got food but I didn’t because I wasn’t hungry originally. Once everyone started getting their food and trying it, they said that it was so good, whether it was the kebab or the chicken burger. Once everyone got food he just randomly gave me a free slice of pizza that had a sauce I’d never send before, as well as different peppers and stuff on it that was incredible. When I had just a couple bites left he put on this spicy sauce that was hot but very good. He also was very nice and gave us advice for what to look for and what to watch out for while in London. Overall it was an awesome night there and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

El puñado de fichas rancias hizo subir el precio significativamente. Táctica muy desagradable de conseguir tu dinero ganado con tanto esfuerzo. Es vergonzoso. No me extraña que el lugar esté vacío. La focaccia sabía a aceite rancio. El pollo era viejo y sabía a aceite rancio. Literalmente el peor que he tenido. Basta decir que no volveré y advertiré a mis colegas y amigos que no visiten este lugar. Lección aprendida.

Strangest wrap I've had in a while! Ordered expecting something different, but it tasted more like a curry chicken wrap. Not necessarily bad, just not what I was expecting.

Scammers !!! Be aware of the fake two Italian guys! I ordered only a slice of pizza and it came with chips and salads which seem like leftovers. Pizza was cold af and taseless. They charged me 11 £ for that rubbish.They are stealing money especially from tourists. Hope they get reported and banned forever!

They charged £10.95 for a soggy slice of plain pizza with fries and salad. When I pointed out that it said £9.95 on the menu board, he said the £1 for eat-in service, even though that's not written anywhere. They finally refunded the £1 but I regret stopping here. That £10 would have been better spent anywhere else

Go somewhere else, awful experience. The food is mediocre at best. The place doesn't accept card without a prior warning, then they send you to a nearby atm which overcharges on the withdrawal. Prices were ridiculous to begin with, given the bad quality, but this honestly makes us feel like we got scammed.

RIP OFF!! Not sure where they are getting their prices from. Ordered an English breakfast. So small! Cold! Overpriced and horrible When questioned on it, the person got very defensive! Would not even walk past it in case they try and charge you.

Wasn't expecting such delicious food at these prices. Coffee is good too. We were struggling to find somewhere open at 9am around the West End and came in here, had falafel wrap and a chicken escalope, naughty and delicious! They do english breakfast as well. I don't know why the other reviews are so bad (they weren't even serving pizza, which most of the other reviews say was bought). The bad reviews seem to be for a pizza place nearby. This place is recommended!

Absolutely awful place. Would not recommend to anyone. 1 star for the nice guy behind the counter. Trash “food”, if you can even call it that, orders ignored (asked for no chips, was given and charged for chips), hot dogs are just sausages (no bun), Coke is like £4, no itemized receipt provided. Everything is microwaved and tastes like cardboard. Just complete and utter rubbish that also charges you extortionist prices. £29 for a slice of pizza, a poorly made cheese sandwich, a sausage, and 2 cans of Diet Coke. Report to authorities at all costs.

Fuimos para evitar las cadenas habituales, y la comida estaba bien (envoltura de falafel, baguette de pollo, cafés) y el servicio era eficiente y profesional, pero definitivamente es una mala relación calidad-precio, incluso para el caro centro de Londres. Parece ser familiar - dirigido, es un lugar pequeño, y estaba vacío, así que no estoy seguro de los cargos por servicio ( 12. 5 % creo) estaban justificados.

Just visited today me a my 2 little daughters for 1 slice of pizza each and with over cooked oily chips 2 drinks charged £42 pounds no tissue or fork on the table Please avoid!

Beware of this place! The 2 guys looking after the costumers are deliberately overcharging people! They are use to overcharge tipsy people after the club, they don’t realise but been there twice after work and the 2 times they overcharge me. Never written a review before but I am absolutely appalled at how much I’ve just paid for 2 waters and two slices of pizza…£24.00. They butter you up as you walk through the door and think they can add chips and a pathetic stale salad without you even asking for it. They ask for cash over card which reeks of tax avoidance. They are playing on the vulnerabilities of tourists who don’t know where to eat and just want some quick food. Would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs!!

I should've taken a look at the reviews before jumping in here. It's a really terrible place. I accidentally spilled some water from the bottle on the table and the person who served me became very rude and said "I'm not gonna clean your vomit! Take your stuff and leave now!" Absolutely unprofessional and unwelcoming. They didn't even let me decide what I wanted to order at my own pace and they rushed me to order whatever they thought would be the best. Avoid at all costs!

£4 Hot chocolate size of the salt shaker

We went to eat something quick before the theater and the lady made us go to an ATM to get cash because they didn't accept cards. He even made one of us stay inside the store while the other went to get cash. Terrible service and mediocre food. The place is all dirty.

El mejor sándwich de pollo en escálope del mundo. Sinceramente, vendría hasta Londres para volver a comerlo. Estaba tan jugoso y húmedo y crujiente afuera. El pan es un pan especial que es denso y simplemente coincide perfectamente con el escalope. Las patatas fritas también son geniales. ¡5 ESTRELLAS!

Serveuse oppressante+ excessivement chère et pour bien finir en beauté la serveuse vous dit de prendre une boisson avec le “menu wrap+ fritte” mais la boisson est à part 3,5£. Un mini wrap au lamb+ 10 frittes pour le prix de 16,45£

The food (pizzas and salad) is pretty good but the guys are JERKS. They add on charges without telling you when you place your order. First and LAST time I'll go there. Thumbs down.

Check to make sure you're being charged correctly. They overcharged me, and when I asked for the difference back they said sorry and they gave me the wrong change!!!

Some kind of scam. I asked for the chicken escalope and specifically asked for salad in it. When given didn’t realise they hadn’t done it. Also charged extra for chips I didn’t ask for. I let it pass, but when I saw sandwich afterwards realised this may be intentional from them. Sandwich was tasteless and extremely salty.

I wouldn't even give it 1 star. They overcharged us for stale / old chips. The service was mediocre at best. Both myself and my friend have had a very upset stomach ever-since. 3 days ago now! Please avoid at all costs.

If what you want is a waiter who touches all the food before serving it, blows his nose, and continues preparing your dinner with the same things, this is your place! The food is terrible, apparently cheap, but they surprise you by charging you. They charge whatever they want and the ticket does not specify anything. To make matters worse, before sitting down we tell him that we want to pay with a card because we don't have cash, he tells us that there is no problem and when we go to pay he gives us the "what the hell" gesture and insists that we have to pay with cash. He gave us the dataphone commission, but he did it well, charging whatever he wanted. DON'T COME

Scam for tourists. Locals don't please don't go there, tourists only please go there of you want to be ceathed and overcharged. You expect to pay 20 but they charge you 30, then you have a headache to figure out why. Of I order something for £20, why you try charging me £30?

I specifically asked about card payment as I did not have any cash with me when I sat down at the cafe and the man reassured me I could pay by card. Later as I went to pay, he then insisted on paying by cash or getting cash from others if needed. I got scammed into eating in the cafe and then make payment by cash. The quality of food isn’t great either.

I was charged 25 pounds for a burger and pizza, the guy was visually disgruntled when I didnt pay with cash. While the cashier machine said it was a lot less than that

They gave up chips we did not order, the coffee was awful and very expensive. The food quality was poore and we felt ripped off. Normally these cafe servce good honest fare as I hate chains, this is worst London cafe I have been to in a long time.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS PLACE. I ordered two slices of pizza, which everywhere else is around £5 each, and got a slice with fries and a bunch of week old salad and ended up payin £20. The pizza was stale, dry and bland. Fries were awful. I don't even know how to describe the salad. The lettuce was getting soggy and smelled like rubbish. Totally a scam place. Unreasonably expensive and charges customers for things they didn't order.

A scam run away!!!!! We wanted to eat quickly before attending a show. I should have read the comments before going there… The dishes are bad and the owner (a crook) refuses payment by credit card even though we saw English people paying by card. He asks us to go and withdraw money from the exchange office next door (probably someone he knows) 4 sandwiches and 4 bottles of water for £53 or… 87€ with the exchange rate and the commission because I had to withdraw £60… 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 👎🏻👎🏻

TOTAL SCAM. we ordered 3 slices of pizza, they were served cold and with fries and salad which we did not ask for. he didnt accept card and wanted 30 POUNDS! he wanted the money after we ate and we were new to the city and didnt realise we were being scammed until after. sad way to spend money as broke students finally saving together enough money to visit another country

Cafeteria, nestled in the heart of Charing Cross, proved to be a lifesaver after a night at the theatre. We opted for a kebab and a tuna sandwich, both of which were satisfying and hit the spot. What truly stood out was the genuine warmth of the staff, who served us with a smile that made our experience all the more enjoyable. While the food was good, a slightly more cured atmosphere could enhance the overall dining experience. Nonetheless, for a quick and satisfying bite with excellent service, Cafeteria is a reliable choice in the area.

ROBBERY. It seems like a normal place with cheap prices and they give you the bill without specifying the price of each thing. If you are a tourist they will charge you whatever they want. Not recommended.

Terrible pizza. We just arrived in London super late (around midnight), didn’t have cell service, and were desperate for food. They charged us £26 for four pizza slices and two waters. Awful quality and a huge rip off. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

And offered us the “brothers formula” A nice, well-stocked burger at £8 each, which the waiter tried to charge us for £14, it was better to be careful. In short, a restaurant to try if you are fond of anecdotes, the chef is very friendly.

I ordered a baguette in the early hours, It was clearly marked on the board at £6.95 for a filled baguette, guy hands me the card reader to touch to pay and when I checked my online banking the next day they had charged me £8.95.

That was the worst sandwich I have ever had - and biggest rip off …. a wrap and a panini was £20! Falafel wrap had 2 falafels and my pepperoni melt was 1 cut sausage!! Avoid at all costs even as a quick snack pre-theatre.

Pathetic place! Extremely unhygienic. Walked in to get a slice of pizza, got handed a plate with a stale slice, 5 fries and 2 leaves, which I didn’t ask for, and they charged me £9! They accepted only cash, didn’t give a receipt! Pizza was old and stale and even had a piece of HAIR IN IT. I showed the hair to the person who served me and his literal reaction was, “well, what can do? I don’t know where it came from?!” At which point I lost it and returned the stale pathetic sad pizza slice, they argued not to pay back the money I paid but I got them to give me a refund and walked out! Later came to know through Google reviews that this place has been doing the same to many people.

Asked for a chicken sandwich and a tuna sandwich, we got both with chips which we NEVER asked for. The chicken was raw and the chips were greasy, pre cooked. £21 rip off . AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Hospitality level zero. Asked if may I take a picture of menu on the wall, because I want to come back and the said “not allowed, not allowed” and ignored us wiping tables and floor. I really wanted to be your client, but the staff is so rude… I’m expecting some answer and reaction to my opinion from the owner of the Cafeteria.

One of the worst places in London. Once, many years ago, I went there with a friend and asked for a pizza slice. we sat down. Just because we sat down the owners decided to charge us over 20 pounds. This is a tourist trap. They treat you horribly. Scam. The food is horrible and the people are evil. Do not go into this .

Friend and I went in there after a night out. Ordered 4 slices of pizza which were prized ~3£ each. Paid with ApplePay and didn’t ask for my receipt. Checked my bank the next day to find a charge of over £55 pounds!! Absolutely horrible and illegal. Do not come to this place
