Cafe Rouge Haywards Heath in Mid Sussex

All 3 of their restaurants seem to be closed, have phoned all 3, - cannot get an answer - No recorded message - Nothing on the website explaining what the problem is or when they are re opening - Very poor - Shame as the food is great - But come on guys - Don't leave your customers in the dark - Very poor customer relations

Service was amazing, nothing was too much to ask. Our waitress was incredible.

It is a restaurant with takeaway options. I had a takeaway as I was short of time, but was very tempted to dine inside as it is very attractive with sparkling glasses and white tablecloths on the tables and nice decor. The takeaway was very good but quite pricey, although individually cooked. I am looking forward to dine inside the restaurant next time.

Fantastic and my favourite Haywards Heath restaurant. Dined in today but always enjoy deliveries too. ❤️

Food is ok but nothing amazing. The service was also ok, but given the restaurant was empty it was slow and it felt like they needed some customer service training. For the money I would say this is acceptable as you can easily pay double for a very good Thai restaurant. There are lots of different places to eat here, depending on what you're looking for this could be the place for you,

Great, authentic food in a relaxed environment. We had one of the set meals for 2, which was perfect.

A lovely Thai restaurant! Ate here on a Friday night, it was busy but not packed and the service was extremely efficient and welcoming. The food was really good - we have tried a number of Thai and pan-Asian restaurants in the area and their red curry and pad thai are both top notch. Good vegetarian options with most mains available as tofu. Definitely recommend, we will be back!

Reasonable food, perhaps doesn't quite justify the price. Quiet on a Friday night.

Very prompt and courteous service, and a nice wide selection of menu options... Food was brought out fairly quickly (swift enough to not be watching the time, but also not so hurried to impede relaxed conversation time) and was absolutely delicious - was also [pleasantly] surprised by the amount of meat in the food.. Thai green curry wasn't the hottest I've had, but the flavours were incredible....deffo one to come back to... Price was a little higher than where we've usually gone, but not significantly, and was very worth it for the high quality and quantity of the food..

Great food, good service, good value

The food is absolutely delicious. Everything tasted wonderful. The sticky rice for example was just perfect. It was my 13 year old daughter’s first experience of Thai food and she loved it. I think this will be a firm favourite for her. This restaurant should be packed to the rafters with the quality of the food but was relatively quiet at 8pm on a Saturday night (3 tables of customers). It does a good take away service though. Highly recommended for the food

The food quality was below average and compared to other Thai places it was very expensive - I don’t like paying the extra when the quality is good.

We ordered takeaway, it arrived hot and relatively quickly. The food wasn't terrible but it just didn't taste of anything. Both the vegetarian dish and the meat dish. If we were tasting it blind, you would have no idea it was thai food, with relevant flavours. Very disappointing, I doubt we will go back.

Thai Crystal was a total lifesaver with the kitchen open until 10pm when many other establishments had already closed kitchens at 9pm. I don’t mean to imply that it’s a last choice on the main restaurant street of Haywards Heath—it’s totally a first choice if you’re in the mood for filling Thai dishes. We loved our food. The staff was so friendly. The kitchen was quick for the amount of food we ordered. The prices are very reasonable (granted you aren’t in the middle of London). The menu is clearly marked with spicy, vegetarian, etc notations. The ambiance is nice with white tablecloths and napkins in addition to a TV looping calming landscape scenery. Thai Crystal has at least 2 other locations around London.

Everything we ordered was so tasty. We wanted our food spicy and it was just right. Would recommend the pad thai noodles and the curry. Gyozas were great too. Chicken is halal. Nice quiet ambience.

Highly recommend this place, amazing food & quick service. We were staying in the area for a family wedding and as there was 10 of us we were really struggling to find somewhere to eat on a busy Saturday night but they were really accommodating and managed to fit us in within a couple of hours of phoning up. Everyone really enjoyed the meal and out of all the places we visited in the area for dinner this was the best one by far. Thank you so much!

Brilliant food, lovely and quick service and nice restaurant. Had a perfect medium rare steak with some chips, with some garlic bread to start. both cooked well and tasted amazing.

Excellent food, lovely staff... if you get the lady that never writes any order down you won't believe it. We were a party of 13, she took out orders for our starters, writing NOTHING down, then asked if we were also ready to order our main courses. Everyone had something different and still she wrote NOTHING down. When the food was ready she came and served each dish to every individual perfectly. She did the same with the drink order. She has an incredible talent.... Worth eating there just to meet this memory lady! But the food was really excellent too. Highly recommended...

Very good Thai food. Good attentive service. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Would eat there again quite happily and highly recommend it. We praised the kitchen it was ghat good, and they came out to thank us. Yes, I will definitely eat here again.

Went in for breakfast. Terrible service. Sat for 20 minutes waiting to be served. Waitress too busy wiping table s around us with disinfectant….people who came in after us, shouted their order across the room! Sorry, but I’m happy to wait if a restaurant is busy, but there was zero excuse this morning. In my experience this approach doesn’t bode well for the food quality either …Got up, walked out and went to Cote a few doors away for a far more superior experience..Won’t bother with Cafe Rouge Haywards Heath again.

My colleagues and I had lunch at Thay Christal today. Although the kitchen was already closed, we were greeted warmly and allowed to place our order. We received a very warm welcome, the service was friendly, competent and fast. The authentic Thai cuisine was delicious and the prices were fair. we will definitely visit the restaurant again.

An unplanned lunch, popped in, and loved our meal. Two course lunch special menu. When the starters came out we knew it was going to be good... tempura vegetables and fish cakes followed by red chicken curry and stir fried vegetables with basil and pork. Saved our Valentines dinner. We had booked a table somewhere else but had to leave and decided to come here. We had tried their take away before and it had always been brilliant so we walked in and got an amazing service and an amazing meal for a very reasonable price. We have a new favourite.
