Scoperto per caso nella lower town di Fishguard, nella baia, è un piccolo caffè-ristorante che prepara semplici ma sorprendenti piatti di pesce. Granchi, aragosta, gamberi e sgombri a prezzi buoni. Servizio rapido e tavolini anche all'aperto. Ideale per un pranzo veloce.

Stopped off here en route home after a lovely stay in Pembrokeshire. A group of 6 (3 adults 3 children). The service was faultless as was the food we had Breakfast Mackerel Smoked Salmon Sausage Sandwich All quality ingredients and tasty. Loved that the side salad was dressed (so many places just put dry leaves on the plate). We were gutted that we hadn’t discovered this little gem before. Diolch

At the end of the harbour you find the cafe . Great day time meals ,fresh and extremely well cooked . On Thursday evening they are open for a specials menu . Tonight we had . Mussels, scallops, sea bass , lobster and chicken tikka! Between 10 of us . All beautifully cooked and lovely and hot considering the size of our party .

First - the freshly caught mackerel, simply but perfectly pan fried with delicious sautéed potatoes and homemade coleslaw was something to write home about. The crab sandwich came on thick slices of country brown bread, and tasted much better than what passes for dressed crab in smart London eateries. The cakes! All baked in house; the blueberry almond and coconut cake is well worth a detour as was the apple cake. This place is an absolute find. We were reminded of how good food should be coming off an Oceania cruise where things were far from what they should have been.

Visited the cafe today and had a crab sandwich and quiche, both of which were very nice, however the amount of salad and coleslaw was very minimal. The salad consisted of leaves with a dressing, perhaps a bit of seasonal vegetables would have enhanced it considerably.

On our short Welsh break we hadn’t left time enough to have a meal. It’s the kind of place that can do the freshest grilled mackerel or dressed crab which is landed just a few metres away. Our loss! Whilst on holiday in Lower Town, Fishguard, we had walked past the Yacht Club a few times and had nosied at the menu which looked really good. We went for breakfast and it certainly exceeded every expectation we had. We ordered a full breakfast (hubby said the sausages were the best he’d ever tasted), and scrambled eggs on toast with mushrooms and beans. Honestly, the food was quality and we paid what you would expect to at such a lovely place. It’s situated right next to the harbour so eating good food with fantastic views certainly started our day off well. They also had a good selection of cakes and quiches which we also bought and had for tea that night! The staff were lovely and I would absolutely recommend this place. An absolute gem.

First off, the fresh crab sandwich was way above average. However, we went there for lunch, and the menu was rather limited. Also, access to the cafe was VERY limited due to the very steep ramp to the entrance. It seems there is no access for someone with a wheel chair. And, in bad weather it would be a challenge for many people. The decor was I guess quaint, but really shabby rather than quaint. The views and location are tremendous, but I think the interior needs a make-over. My guess is that cost of a make-over is an issue. I like the idea of a friendly, good food, local place and hope that some of the rough edges can be resolved.
