Cafe Nero in City of London, Westminster

We are living in a climate emergency, so was dissapointed to see this week that Cafe Nero is not even doing the most basic of things. I visited the Cafe Nero store at 91 Wilcox Place (which does not seem to be on Trip Advisor) I asked for an iced coffee (being clear I was drinking in). It was served in a plastic cup. I refused. The assistant seemed bemused, tutted and replaced my cup. This may be a little thing by itself - but I hope Cafe Nero wakes up... smells the coffee... and realises that this is a climate emergency

Literalmente el peor café con leche que he tenido. Apenas podía saborear el café incluso después de revolverlo para comprobarlo dos veces. Tomé 2 sorbos y lo dejé sobre la mesa. No volveré

Esta es la segunda vez que tengo un Americano negro que parece haber sido hecho de un grano de café. Completamente insípido! Lo que le ha pasado a Cafe Nero. Solían tener el mejor café fuerte. No desperdiciaré mi dinero allí a toda prisa.

Visité el sábado por la tarde, desafortunadamente al mismo tiempo que la mayoría de los activistas contra el Brexit buscaban un retrete, creo que dijeron que no tenían uno. si eso es cierto o no, no lo sé, pero no vi uno pero estaba muy ocupado. Encantado de encontrar el nuevo sándwich club vegano y la tostada de tomate y pesto secados al sol. El capuchino de leche de coco era perfecto y, en general, fue una experiencia agradable para que el manifestante se hiciera cargo.

Uno de mis favoritos. A la vuelta de la esquina de Green Park es ideal para esperar o para un almuerzo rápido. Personal amable y buen café y cómodos sillones.

Clean and a treasonable offering of food and coffee for a quick bite to eat. Obviously frequented by the locals in nearby business houses.

I stopped here to meet someone, and had a large cappuccino and carrot cake. The coffee was very nice as was the carrot cake. I marked it low because I was supposed to get a free coffee by signing up to their app. It didn’t happen.

Hot chocolate was nice although had to repeat myself several times to get the order right. Only one toilet for which there was a long queue, once inside no toilet paper. Shocking for a cafe this size.

I visited this store along with my husband on are trip to London. We had got hot chocolate which I must say was ok. The cups and saucers where unclean, along with the spoons. As the store was busy you don’t like to say anything. I think the worst part of all was the toilet, in my opinion it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The dust was thick this being all over.The soap hadn’t been filled. So overall when we visit London again we won’t be returning!

If you are running around London and need a place to sit down and grab a cup of coffee, Cafe Nero is an option. Well located on Stratton Street near Buckingham Palace, it is also a terrific spot to use as a meeting spot.

Cafe Nero is found throughout the city of London and across the United Kingdom. They have great latte's and cakes to savour whilst you rest your weary feet after a day of sightseeing or high street shopping

Shabby chic? Not sure, but I would describe the interior as comfortably relaxed, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I had a drink here around 9am and was surprised that it wasn’t busier. Close to Green Park, and Green Park Tube.

For an establishment that makes its money primary from selling people liquids....having one dirty unisex toilet for all their customers strikes me as odd. With the plethora of coffee shops in central London, I would avoid this one.

As we were early for a dinner appointment locally we popped in for a coffeeat 7pm. The cafe was not busy,but when we left 20mins later the dirty tables near us had still not been cleared. The coffee etc was fine and enjoyable ,much less so was the facility which is now in urgent need of a makeover. One single unisex toilet for a facility of this size is clearly unacceptable in this day and age, especially as it was dirty, messy and distinctly unhygienic. The baby changing table was filthy and the room didn't look as if it had been cleaned or even looked at all day This branch is not a very good advert for this chain in an upmarket district of London
