Popped in on our way home for a light bite and drink; it did not disappoint. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty. Great customer service and sitting outside in the sun was perfect.

Cayó en ad hoc, ya que parecía estar bien. Nos recibió un personal amable. Menú a precio razonable y variada.

place was poorly lit, ordered the lamb dish, only had limited wines by the glass, waited a while for it to arrive, overcooked on a cold plate. Poor portion size for sixteen quid plus. Waitress just dumpled the plate infront of me saying there you go!

I find it quite unbelievable that, after claiming to be a vegetarian restaurant for years, they’re still selling non-vegetarian Parmesan on their menu - they even mention this on the website (calf rennet is made from dead calves). The Vegetarian Society contacted them about this in 2014, but they don’t appear to have taken it on board. There are so many vegetarian cheeses these days (I don’t mean vegan cheese, I mean dairy cheese made without animal rennet), it’s a shame they couldn’t accept this feedback. I wonder how many unsuspecting people have eaten here believing their food to be vegetarian, when it isn’t.

Had lunch then dinner here a couple of days apart, just before Christmas, and they were two of the best meals I have eaten out in a long time. The sea Bream was plate sized and superb, as was the grilled Haddock with Turmeric Mash. Not at all expensive by London standards, and I am far from being a rich man. Oh, and I should say that if, like me, you are a Coeliac or cannot eat Gluten, then you will find the staff entirely compos mentis. They always have at least one GF choice available, veggie and vegan too. And also importantly a beautiful place, child and dog friendly. Image of Harry Dean Stanton cooked up in photoshop from a Google image not credited, don't worry Smoking is allowed only outside.
