Cafe La Cigale in Kingston upon Thames

What can I say about la cigal I have been coming here for over 20 years and I have never been disappointed with the food. The staff are fantastic friendly and polite. They will go above and beyond to make what you like the menu is good and the price is great.

I have walked past this cafe on numerous occasions and today ventured inside. So glad I did what a gem!! the food was delicious, staff attentive and the atmosphere is laid back and unhurried. Will definitely visit again

Good they do tasty paninis at a reasonable price. Great customer service too. Server was polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Located in a pedestrianised street in Kingston this is nice place to come for a lunch. A varied menu reasonably priced and nice staff. We have also been here previously when we popped in for some good well filled Paninis

Stopped for quick bite lovely menu with wide choice. Staff very friendly not rushed to order food came out very hot and fresh. Had the all day omelette breakfast really tasty. Tea was a generous mug and the glass of water requested was nice and cold. Good food and value for money.

Outstanding excellent value, clean fantastic service with a smile. Far better than the standard Premier Inn breakfast offering at a fraction of the cost you. And it's on the way to the station so really handy.

This is a lovely restaurant where you feel welcome and relaxed. I chose one of the veggie breakfast offerings at lunchtime and it was very tasty. I asked not to have the egg and was very kindly offered an alternative such as an extra veggie sausage. I had a hash brown as I hadn't had one for ages. The staff team are great, very friendly and helpful. I am rarely in Kingston but I could tell that other customers were regulars and I would be too if I lived there.

The food has always been extremely high quality and the owners are lovely and welcoming - I would recommend to anyone for quick breakfast or lunch when shopping or even takeaway. The wraps are excellent and hot breakfasts are too.

Me , my wife and children visited here 29 / 6/22 , friendly staff , clean , only downside I noticed they microwaved my food ( lasagne ) so basically you're eating microwave meals . It's a shame as the cafe itself is nice .

My brother and I were in London just for the day and had got off an early morning flight. I had a lovely fresh tasting omelette and my brother had the fry. Very reasonable and friendly service. Thank you.

Go for the Falafel Wrap or the La Cigale Special panini with cucumber, you won't regret it! Great coffee also. I've been going since my college days, I've seen it transform over time, their latest investment was in a tent to shield customers outside from the rain and wind.

Took over 20 minutes to take our order, we had to ask to order! Then they forgot one of two breakfasts ordered and we had to pay & leave before they could fulfil the order after we reminded them and all in all we were waiting for over an hour - complete waste of time and certainly wouldn’t bother again.
