Had a great English breakfast today, very good and reasonable price. Freindly staff and great 1930s entrance door- part of he station's Grade II listing1

This is quite a large café located at the entrance to Oakwood tube. They do a very good range of food from breakfast dishes through jacket potatoes, hot and cold sandwiches, paninis....I had a spinach omelette made with baby fresh spinach and served with a very well made and dressed salad at my request (as opposed to chips / beans). It was very good value at just over £5. My coffee was good too.

32 High Street, Southgate Meadway/High Street intersection, London EnglandHow easy it is to lose a customer. Not terribly busy when we visited, but after 45 minutes and two coffees, the food had not made an appearance. After drawing this to the waitresse's attention, one of our plates arrived. The second arrived a couple of minutes later (overdone) but 3rd still missing in action. Finally arrived but clearly had been sitting under hot area for some time. Waiting staff really not experienced enough to deal with this situation, and owner disappeared tout-suite. Seems they have over-reached themselves if they cannot deal with so few orders
