Cafe J'adore in Bradford

'Style' over substance. If you want good food, I would avoid. Also avoid the small plates - massively over priced and very poor quality. I have come here before a few times and had positive experiences (and left a good review that have since deleted). The two stars are for the open, large and colourful venue and the hospitality given to me by the owners, which is usually what has brought me back (but doesn't extend to everyone). However , my friend and I ordered chicken which was dry and clearly not fresh as I struggled to cut into it- I think it may have been cooked from frozen. I have never even bought frozen meat for myself to cook at home, never mind paying for it in a restaurant. The chicken was smothered in 'special sauce' which was a cheap mayo/peri sauce which they used to mask the dryness and overpowered the food. It just looked life- less. It didn't come with chilli or spring onions as it said on the menu- it looked like a 12 year old had made it. My friend didn't even get her sauce on the side (or chill/spring onions) and the chicken nuggets smelt old- they looked like left overs. The waitresses didn't apologise when they brought the spring onions and chillis over but had clearly raised the issue with management under hushed tones, which ruined the atmosphere as he didn't address it. The manager asked all the tables around us if they were ok with their food aside from us ! They clearly wanted to avoid us complaining /paying for the food. Payment is a hassle. Then only when we got up and paid did the manager ask if things were ok to my friend (which I didn't hear) but at that point it would have caused a scene if she raised issues as we were on our way out. The waitresses seem to struggle with simple orders like my friend asking for sauce on the side and don't seem to know anything about the food, constantly having to defer to management. The cocktails are massively overpriced and poor quality. The rose cocktail has no rose syrup or rose petals in it and came out blue. The coconut one is pure cream and tasted like I'm drinking a nourishment /milkshake- the last time I came. We were supposed to stay for desserts but we wanted to just leave as soon as possible. If you do go there, I'd stick to the brunch or main meals and not bother with drinks or small bites. I think maybe they have bitten off more than they can chew and the 'awards' have gone to their head.

Went in rozay with my sister and the atmosphere was a bit off, we got seated right in the middle of the room which as a niqabi was uncomfortable as I couldn't have any privacy to eat. Staff all very young and somewhat inexperienced. The food was expensive for what it was. It also came out semi cold when it was hot food. Had to return and get new. There were very few items actually available on the menu we were given. The waitress kept saying "chef can't make it we don't have ingredients" it just felt very rushed and no care taken. decor was nice it you are into social media and like to post.

Amazing place. Surprised me with a birthday cake🎂 which I didn't expect when the owner found out it was my birthday. Got complementary drinks on the house. Great atmosphere. Would recommend this place for it's service & great staff.

Visited for the first time today. As a person with significant allergies, staff were initially (rightly) concerned but worked with me to consider the best food options and utilised excellent allergy safe practices to ensure I had a really lovely meal and safe time. Everything was delivered in a friendly and proactive manner. Please continue to make people with allergies feel welcome and included and we’ll continue to visit and recommend. Thank you 😊

We went to Cafe J'dore today as a group of 11. We had to wait for a short while for a table but staff were so welcoming. Very attentive to our needs, I had the lamb shank and it was delicious. Equally positive reviews for dynamite shrimp, English and Desi breakfasts. Kids has French toast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend

We travelled 2 hours as a group of 11 to try cafe jadore and we were not disappointed - the range of options was insane, food was fresh and delicious and came quickly. Lots of options for the kids, staff were brilliant and really went above and beyond to take care of us. Apparently even the toilets were impressive 😂 we’ll be back. Big thank you to the team for 10/10 service!

This cafe is beautiful, the decor is stunning. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Beef sliders were yummy

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, especially regarding service. I came here a couple years ago and wasn't too impressed but the game has really been stepped up, the food was actually amazing and the service was incredible. The nicest people working there and even though the menu was huge with loads of range, every item we ordered was delicious. The hot chocolate was one of the best I've had at a cafe. We ordered the chilli chicken, beef bao buns, and the salmon dish. Will definitely be coming back in the future!!

I heard about this place online and looked at the reviews and thought why not give it a go. Sometimes places have high ratings but still disappoint however this one didn't. Firstly the service was immecable the Manager and staff all friendly. Having been in restaurant game myself i know the importance of this so it was refreshing to see the ethos within all the staff. Food was spot on came very quickly surprisingly. I ordered the dynamite prawn which was cooked to perfection and sauce was exactly how it should be. I also got the butterfly chicken breast the flavour was exactly what I was expecting. The side sauce wasnt for my liking but thats personal preference however a option of peppercorn sauce or another type would have complemented it better. Overall we had a great experience the only feedback i would give is just let the customers know its cash only i know bank transfer in also acceptable but i asked too late so we had to travel from 2 hours away then had to go cash point to get the cash but dont let that throw you off from the experience. Will definitely visit again.

Best Mocktails in the town, Perfect ambience! Jadore classic french toast was on top… The best thing about the cafe is ,” They bid perfect farewell to their staff”. The way they wished my sister her last day in the cafe was really emotional and feeling proud of my silly mano… !! Thank you Cafe Jadore ❤️

Amazing food and lovely service

Visited today for the 2nd time, first time for dinner. I don't know why this place is so overhyped. The food was shockingly awful. Did not get what I paid for and it was overpriced at that. Will never make the mistake of visiting again. It only looks good, service is brilliant but chef has no sense or knowledge of how to cook.

Staff were so lovely and friendly, super nice place.

The food was really nice. However what let it down for us was the rudenesses from one of the managers. My 2 year old son was playing on the piano and the manager came and started SHOUTING at my son saying he’s going to break the keys and damage the piano!! 10 minutes later another child (similar age to mine) and their family were playing with it and the same manager went to them and was laughing and talking with them!! How bloody rude!! I don’t understand why they have a piano there which is easily accessible to kids if they are so over protective over it??? Don’t have it out OR have a sign saying only for display don’t use. The manager was so rude and totally out of order. Total discrimination as he let the other kid play with it!!!

We were recommended this cafe by the place we were staying at. Getting there was easy, parking was a little bit difficult to find a parking spot but, we managed to find a space at the end. There is also parking down the road. The aesthetics is lovely of the place. It was busy and we only had to wait 10 minutes for our table. We came to have breakfast and we needed a quick bite before setting off back to Birmingham. The food was brilliant, we were gutted to couldn’t try all the other foods on the menu as it was too early for us. The breakfast was really nice and we will be back when we next make a trip down Bradford! The service is bang on, very professionals d attentive.

I had my surprise 40th birthday party this evening. The venue was exclusive to us in the evening. The food, service and violnist were first class. It was a memorable evening and one I will never forget.

Sikander is a very good host , he is always attentive to customers. His hospitality is phenomenal and he always goes above and beyond to make sure all customers are happy and ok.

It was the first time for me today and I would definitely return. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. They even helped me with the car seat taking it all the way to the car!

It was a busy weekend so we expected to be waiting for a table. We didn't wait for too long. Once we sat down, we gave our food and drink orders. The drinks came quite fast however I feel like the time to get the food was quite long. The customer service from the staff members was great. They even gave a little dessert for my niece as a gift. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely go again.

Went with a party of 16 and the service was 5star . All the waiting staff very professional and were effortlessly efficient & kind when serving us. Parking and venue is so calm, chill and aesthetically beautiful The hand painted Muriel’s really make you feel like your somewhere special. Manager gave us a special treat for one of our guests whose birthday it was and really made our day ! If you’re thinking of going here , runnnnn dont walk ! They dont tale bookings on Sunday but we only waited 15 mins for a table and there was lots of room .

Me and my husband went for breakfast and we had to wait like 10 minutes for a table..eventually when we ordered.. the service was A*. What we ordered - full english and the Shebang breakfast was absolutely delicious! Would deffo recommend and come back again. The sausages were freshly cooked not processed aswell as the turkey rashers cooked to perfection! The scrambled egg was cooked to how i like it. The toast was perfect the bread was thick and soft. The desi tea and mocha we had to wash the breakfast down with was really really nice. Its kept us full all day 😂

Staff and service here is really good - very friendly and attentive. We got the stuffed croissant which was tasty and had beef bacon, egg and hash browns - would be better if there was more beef bacon as there wasn't enough. The cappuccino is a good size, but the coffee wasn't too strong. We also got the cookie royal french toast which was so tasty, one of the best pancakes I've had with real milk chocolate sauce. lovely experience and would come back to try the desi breakfast.

Fantastic place to go for breakfast if you want something a bit different. Mexican omelette breakfast was huge and very filling with tasty spicy sausages on. Beautifully painted surroundings and unfailingly polite and quick service.

J’Adore is a lovely place for brunch, lunch and dinner with a beautiful menu and nice decor. Would recommend to anyone visiting Bradford. We’re always well looked after and they’ve even recently catered for 25 people.

Went for brunch this morning and the staff were super friendly very professional. Impeccable service and attention to detail. We ordered a breakfast thali and shakshuka with a mojito and an iced latte. Everything we ordered was exceptional. The portion sizes were generous. We asked for the dessert menu after as we wanted a sweet treat however decided against it as we were so full. One of the staff members asked us if wanted dessert and when we said no he gave us one on the house for the two of us go share. I had visited previously another's day last year and didn't have the best experience however they really pulled out all the stops today and I will definitely go back. 🙂

Real constructive feedback. Excellent service time and staff are always smiling. But, this cafe needs some work. Excellent service doesn’t just mean keep approaching customers and asking are they okay. Or when you’re not ready to order stand a fair bit away and just watch. It is quite annoying and serves the latter of what you want. Adopt a less is more approach. Take it from me, let the customers eat and chat to themselves if they need something they will ask. Staff dressed smart but need to act classy. I’d keep getting disturbed in conversation. Otherwise the food was okay. And thanks for having us.

First time of visit asked for one burger without salad but came with salad another item was supposed to be for another table and charge for water unlike pearls who don’t then the cheek to ask to leave a review and say hope next time it’s better

I have to say that all the staff were above exceptional, especially Sikandar who is a credit to the Restaurant. Food is truly exquisite and we will definitely be coming again.

I come all the way from London for this, this is my third time here and the food is amazing but the customer service is the BEST in Bradford. Raja looks after us each and every time! Aisha was the besttt and so lovely and also Siraj was amazing despite it being so busy

We had breakfast couple of weeks ago the sausages were just raw chicken and the rest of the breakfast was drowned in oil and the pancakes were horrible. The waitress didn’t understand English and the most shocking factor was NO CARD MACHINE I had to transfer the money to their account never had that in any restaurant before.

Visited prior to an important company meeting booking. Thank god I did. The food was not to a good standard. I had salmon which was overcooked and dry. Payment was also a big issue. No card payments, cash only. If we had been told before ordering I wouldn’t have been as bothered, but had to walk to a cash point to sort this out. I wouldn’t recommend for a business event or meeting. Taken our booking elsewhere, as risking a poor experience for our clients is not an option.

Me and my partner came for a meal here and it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The food was just overloaded with pepper and spice, it was nearly inedible. My partner hated the chicken melt course, he didn't enjoy it at all. The Desserts were just average, however the drinks were nice. But the food was not unfortunately. When the waiter came back to us, we had asked for the dessert menu. Couple minutes later she returns with the bill, which was quit rude, seemed like there was a hurry for us to leave. Since we were spending around 60 pound all together, it was rude. Then when we had finished, the waitress started cleaning the table, while we was still sat down. A very rude experience!, we will not be returning.
