Low quality donner meat resulting in crunchy bone bits in the meat, I've tried on 3 or 4 different occasions giving the benefit of the doubt with the same results each time, other products on the menue are avarage at best.

Literally the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Absolutely shocking quality.

Ordered a delivery and it was disgusting - the chicken looked grey in the middle and the sauce tasted off - complete waste of £35 - don’t waste your time with this one

Currys are superb , freshly made and as good as you will get anywhere in Glasgow . Staff are fantastic and friendly and been going for years now .

Why is it that almost every time I order meat samosas, there's always a scabby vegetable one sneaked in there? If I wanted veg I'd have asked for it so maybe it's time to keep them separate 💯

Live in Centre Glasgow...ordered here the past few weekends...The Food Genuinely is Really Nice...but think I live too far out, just had an order Today & it was Cold, bit cruel to make the man deliver this far out, Only reason I probably won't order again, but if you live nearby...100% Go Try This Place!!!

Haven't had a carryout from Cafe India in a while, won't be back . Vegetable pakora went in the bin soggy and tasteless. The chicken tikka main meal wasn't the best iv had .

Been away from Burnside for years and just moved back. Nice to see this place in the same family ownership. Used to be great. Have had 3 takeaways now over the last couple of weeks, each time to give the last one the benefit of the doubt. So, tonight just off a flight, I had a meal for one. Massive portions, but quantity not quality. Some constructive feedback. The mixed pakoras came lukewarm straight from their kitchen. Massive bag. But really poor quality and almost inedible. Stodgy, soggy and the chicken pakora dried out, cold and hard. The main was a chicken tikka balti bhoona. But it had lime pickle in the sauce. No mention of the relationship to achari on the menu and this overpowered what would have been a nice main. Will give other dishes a try

Good munch!! But says delivery till 12:30am Google says open.. will not use this again pretty rude and hung up!!

Ordered their vegetarian set meal. Asked for the pakora curry to be in madras sauce which they certainly adhered to as it was spicy! Food literally showed up within 10 mins of ordering, piping hot.

This is the second time we have ordered a takeaway from here. Both were absolutely delicious, thank you. I would thoroughly recommend and enjoy 😉 x

Does a good kebab but has ramped up its prices and stopped taking card payments, so I won’t be back. If I have to go to an atm and take cash out specifically for your food, it better be amazing and cheap too.

The food is pretty good, but there always seems to be some issue with the order. An old driver (a while back) tried to rip me off twice, got sent back with my money. Incapable of reading additional instructions on their web orders, three times in a row my messages have been ignored and/or there is something missing. Good food, but plenty places around with better service

Amazing. Chicken is quite easy to cook but, somehow CI managed to turn my chicken into the toughest thing I've ever attempted to eat. Abandoned the meat and made do with the rice, which was nice enough. May use the chicken to plug a hole in the garden wall.

They don't take cards so I had to go get cash, which was a pain. The price they charged was higher than the prices advertised on the internet. There was 2 items missing from my order which they offered to provide but that would've meant another journey when the food was already cold. The food wasn't great, all very oily and the chips were only for for the bin. There are several far better take aways in the area day I'll not be back.

Very disappointing 😞 ordered mixed Kebab . Very very dry , not freshly cut , hard to chew 100% cut from early and kept in hot water container..i might be wrong but definitely not fresh Donner . Chips taste like oven chips ..lol I know my food 😋 Salad..? Got onions cut bigger size we put in curry .. money wasted is ok but evening meal time spoiled..

Absolutely stinking worst Indian ever, the guys in the shop playing about with peoples food laughing, do not order from here the guys don’t even wear gloves, seen one of them picking their nose then proceeding to pick cheese up with his bare hands to put cheese on someone’s chips, disgusting

Really enjoyed dinner. Ceylonese korma was superb. The chicken was excellent tate and texture. The chicken tikka and the seekh kebab starters were superb. Garlic nan really tasty and the rice spot on. Can't wait to try again soon. Update 22/5/22 Ordered online and picked up the order below. When I got home there was a plain nan instead of a garlic nan. No sauce with the Pakora and no chicken chaat. I called and was told there was only 1 starter included in the deal and I wouldn't have got a chicken.chaat. Why give the option and show on my receipt I asked. I was then.abruptly told its been like that for 20 years. No mention of the wrong nan and the lack of sauce with the Pakora....So disappointed as I have used this place many times in the last few years and recommend it as a great curry when anyone asks me in Cambuslang. Won't be back and by the attitude of the guy on the phone he doesn't care anyway. Not the first time we have had issues ordering from Cafe India. The order was placed for collection and a time was stated that the food would be ready - waited over half an hour longer than stated. I would understand this if we were first to get our food while waiting but we were completely ignored as people who hadn’t placed an order in advance were prioritised. We also made clear to leave special instructions due to one person in the group being allergic to mushrooms and the other with a celiac disease - these were both ignored. Over and above this their level of customer service is non-existent. I would recommend that everyone reading this avoids Cafe India with a barge pole.

Stopped ordering about 2 yrs ago after using the restaurant for a number of years. Imagine then to iour surprise we had an order for a family gathering and part of the order was missing One if the reasons we gave up was due to numerous delivery mistakes Also used to order for pick up and order was never ready anywhere near the time alloted. I came to the conclusion that I didn't feel valued as a customer as the same mistakes kept happening. As the saying goes the definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting s different result.shame really as the food is nice but sadly I don't think I'll be back as there is clearly something wrong organisatioally.

Stopped ordering from here a year or 2 ago as food had declined and delivery was too long. Ordered curry last week and was abso horrible lamb was brick hard and couldn't even chew it. Poppadoms must have been a week old as they were chewy and soggy. Remember why we stopped ordering and so won't be back again for a while. Being a bit more expensive than most u would think it would be better quality but abso not. Delivery was a bit quicker but I think that's because less people are using due to its severe decline in quality.

Always use fresh ingredients and tend to use green chillies for heat instead of the red "mouth burning" variety. Very good flavoursome menu.

Food was 20 mins late when it arrived the nan was stone cold and the pakora curry was full of oil when i phoned to tell them the call handeler had no manners no customer service skills told me i was lying 🤣 complete joke of a take away avoid at all costs

Currently been sitting waiting on cafe India delivering for over 2 hours. Already paid for the order and restaurant not answering phone. Won’t use them again.

£10.50 set meal for one, can only be described as very disappointing. Told 20 mins to collection, picked up on time. Soggy pakora, last nights chewy poppadoms and the chicken was overcooked, which again could have been last nights. This place used to be excellent but the standard has dropped quite a bit. The sauce itself was decent, rice was ok. I get it's the weekend, but it's not as if this is your first week operating.

Just ordered from here, food was amazing, warm and only took 25 minutes for delivery. With the current restrictions we expected at least an hours wait so a pleasant surprise. Slight mix up in the order a quick phone call and 10 minutes later driver delivered the right item. Fantastic service and will be ordering again.

Ordered through the app delivery 1 1/2 hours called 2 hours later told order had just left another 15 minute wait order finally arrived both starters cold. Unfortunately not the first time weve had problems with delivery but it will be the last .

Food is lovely but I have now been waiting for 1 1/2 hours on my order I phoned and was told it was “on its way” I am a ten minute drive away !!! Not acceptable

Have used cafe India Burnside for years and never had any issues. Food was always good. Over the last month or so I have seen a massive decline in the quality of their food. Ordered a curry few weeks ago and it was bland, no flavour and nothing like the same kind I've received previously. Then last night I ordered a hoggie wrap. Usually packed and excellent for value. Received 2 wraps as usual however each literally contained only 6, way over cooked chips, barely any kebab meat and a slither of cheese that was barely noticeable. Won't be using again any time soon unless standards return.

*ROBBING CUSTOMERS IS THE LOWEST OF THE LOW* I have used cafe India for years and regret to say it has dropped its standards and services a disappointing level, I have used this place for very last time ordered a xl kebab last night (which comes with a bottle of juice) with salad and sauce on the side nothing too difficult. When it arrived i was greeted with a price tag of £21.50 which I paid with hesitation took inside and looked at it it was dry old meat, half cooked chips and no sauce or salad I called them only to be told oh someone would bring it down later also questioned the price and told that I was charged for the juice and the sauce and salad by mistake an extra £5. Told them wasn't good enough and to come back with money and to take the meal away, waited all night called a couple of times but still no refund. Went back next day to see manager (jumped up a**hole) who tried to tell me that he called but I never answered he also blamed the delivery driver and the girl answering the phones. When I asked for my money was told yeah I need the food back which was in the back of car(thought he had me there) I gave it to him, eventually got my money and the best apology he could muster was "yeah it is what it is". Disgusting and filthy arrogant man, so buyers beware he is a thief .

Best Indian takeaway out there. Give them a try. Really is awesome. Prices are standard, quality is amazing. Also the staff are really nice. It's a busy place so probably hard to hear what people are saying at times. If you've had a bad experience. I'd give them a try again! You won't regret it.

Messed up order, so we called them. Owner lied about what we ordered then was verbally aggressive over phone. Shocking customer service. Will never go there again.

Very bad customer service, was made to feel like their mistake was my fault and was spoke to in an awful manner. Had put up with the slow delivery service in the past but the manner in which i was spoke to by a staff member tonight has ensured I most definitely will not be using this takeaway again.

Foods always over an hour, pizzas are pre made pizza bases which are like cardboard, prices are too dear, order is normally wrong or has items missing and to top it off the customer service is terrible !! Do not listen to customer complaints, zero percent telephone manner and hang up on you whenever they can't be arsed. Wouldn't recommend anymore !

Got chips from here one day at lunch time chips were I would say under cooked but we're more like not even cooked now stay away far better places not to far from them

Do not order from here!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting service! We ordered food and it was over an hour late. Food was delivered and some of our order was missing. Food was cold and dry or under cooked we had already phoned up twice to complain and phoned once more to ask to deliver our unordered food and could hear colleagues in the background shouting and swearing about our complaint, I told them how unprofessional it was they then hung up the phone on us!!

Consistently restaurant quality food. Reasonably priced, clean, friendly and efficient. I would have no hesitation recommending them.
