Absolutely disgusting got a jacket potato and cheese she came to give me it and had her thumb in it then when I moved the cheese off my squashed potato all the potato was brown and grey it was absolutely disgusting didn’t dare eat their scabby potato even their water taste like rain forest disgusting and would never step foot in there again!

Me and my partner went here for dinner. We got a jacket potato with cheese and it was brown and grey all the way through and it looked like it had been dropped it was nearly completely flattened. I had cheesy chips and it looked like half of my chips was from the bottom of the fryer they was nearly completely empty and had no potato in them at all they was just crunchy like crisps. Very disappointed and the meal came to £12 so was expecting it to be at least edible.

Come here to eat regularly. Service is always quick and pleasant. Food is hot and great quality with reasonable prices. The member of staff called Courtney who has worked there for a number of years is very lovely, polite, hard worker and checks back with us to ensure everything is fine which it is always fine. Love coming here to eat.

Don’t understand why this cafe gets 1 star!! The food is fabulous and cooked to order, the staff , especially Courtney is first class. Nothing is ever any trouble to her. Def wouldn’t go anywhere else……keep up the good work

Food fab although a 45min wait , staff very miserable and not friendly at all. Also the place had a few homeless looking people drinking beer at lunch . Sadly this place used to be owned by the most lovely people , we came here weekly until lockdown. It will take a lot to convince us to return I'm sad to say .

Omg the food here is gorgeous. My daughter and I have breakfasts there when we're in town or she's off school poorly. The staff are lovely people too.

Lovely place good food reasonable prices. Food is excellent, perhaps a little more attention to cleaning inside and out needed to restore the place to how it was. Service is great, friendly and helpful.

I work very close to the cafe and they are the best bunch of people. They always go all out for us and the food is brilliant. We always have breakfast but today is lunch as we were too busy for breakfast! Thank you so much guys and we will see you Tues morning 😉

Ok. Not great but not shocking. Says come with salad and coleslaw and this is the salad and coleslaw. Would of rather of gone to macdonalds tbf

Kids meals for £3.50 were an absolute disgrace. Sausage and chips and there were only 15 chips on the plate. My granddaughter finished her meal but was still hungry. What is going on as this place used to present really good portions. BTW, You can get a kids meal for £1 in Asda and get more. Shopping in town tho and I'll seriously think twice about going in here bect time.

Only popped in for a coffee. Service was excellent. Coffee was lovely. And nice clean toilets. I can't rate the food as We didn't eat. But will certainly be back.

Visited with my wife for breakfast, Large breakfast with toast with good and worth the money. Just the thing to start your day!

The drinks and food were nice but the service is very poor we waited about an hour for our food definitely not recommended this to anyone

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, great prices. If you want to see how the locals live, this is the place to be. We ate here each morning during our stay in the town. I spoke with the owner a few times and she is a lovely lady. And on top of it all, a fantastic cuppa! We will return on the next trip. Thanks for the excellent food and the happy memories!

Had a better 2nd visit, 1st visit food was bland and coffee didn't taste of coffee, however tried them again, asked for a strong coffee and got a cheeseburger, was really good coffee and the food was really nice too. Good job folks

Usually have absolutely no issues and breakfasts are always amazing. However, came in on the 25th July and was appalled. I paid for a large farmhouse breakfast in which I was missing things from and was given bare minimum, (it was basically a small breakfast on a large plate) when I said I was missing items yes they were given to me but the woman was so rude to me I was disgusted considering she’s usually okay. My mother had a toastie however asked for no salad in which she was also given no coleslaw even though the menu specifies salad and coleslaw separately. I asked for the coleslaw and the same lady who got us some decided to go into the kitchen backchatting my mum saying she didn’t want salad etc etc when we could clearly hear her. My sister got a kids meal in which usually we have no issues with however she was given 4 of the smallest chicken pieces and about 5-10 chips, asking for ketchup she was given brown sauce but didn’t want to say anything due to how rude the woman was to me and my mum. Definitely will not be coming back and seriously regret spending £25 on an awful experience .

Wouldn't of given it 1 star but there wasn't an option for that. We used to come here all the time Visited today and its gone right down hill not impressed.

A cafe was appalling the food I would not recommend anybody going in there yeah I got a veggie burger and the veggie burger was greasy and I wasn't asked for any sources at all and also I was given dried lettuce and that's all I had on my plate as salad there was no tomatoes no cucumber the toll my carer at all often me air console off a plate and I offered yes but I accidentally pushed her over to the plate but accidentally went onto the table Ambrose and wedges to go with my veggie burger but anyway they were wedges were completely dry and greasy I did not like one bit I would recommend nobody go to that cafe is not the recommended one to choose I would go to a better one and the day it is appalling and basically not very hard you nick their plates are clean but very no the staff a very ad serving you the not to take ages to serve you nobody serves your for under 10 seconds somebody comes around saves you but then your food text ages to come to your table eventually when your food arrives is not that very good and also I would recommend nobody ordering anything from McAfee I would recommend you go somewhere else if anybody chooses his cafe to go for a party or go there for a surprise for somebody or recommends that for somebody time do I would recommend you go to somewhere else because I would not recommend this to go anywhere for somebody choose another cafe I would recommend it like excellent cafes one of my best one royal cafe is number to cafe number 3 cafe would be in Princes quay at all the food I will hundred I would give it a complete 20 also my carer order to not from there as well their food is she ordered was I'm am and cheesy toast but she got summerhouse cheese and onions in it what she didn't ask for

My husband & I regularly have been visiting this place since last one year. It absolutely fantastic & value for money. Plenty of options as well. Would recommend their English breakfast & veg burgers. Food is always fresh & piping hot. Also their coffee is amazing! Staff is awesome as well. Since the lady who manages this place is Indian, there are a couple of Indian options as well !

I've only visited this place once, but thought it was a great cheap eats place. There's plenty of seating and staff. The staff really stood out as being quick, efficient, friendly and attentive without being too 'in your face'. The food came very quickly and was piping hot. It was well cooked too. The menu has a lot of choice, offering small plates and snacks to meals that are more substantial, such as fish and chips. I will definitely be back!

The price for food is reasonable, great quality with great service, I cant say there is no faults because I cant find nothing wrong with this place; in which this is excellent. I would say please go in and try out this place.

Not happy with the portion size the food come on a plate the size of a dust bin lid 2 egg omelette hardly no chips tea spoon of coleslaw an the smallest salad in world. Very disappointed!

Went in for a breakfast which previously included a tea or coffee for £ 4.70. Now the drink is not included and the cost has therefore £6.20. I won't be visiting again

Absolutely disgusted with the chef and owner.me and mum went in today we ordered the last two jacket potatoes.they where burnt so we mentioned it as we was paying.the chef shouted at my mother and said she was trying it on.how dare he.the meals are cheap so why would we try it on.im disgusted how he started waving his arms and belittling my mother.hes just a horrible bully who didn't like us criticizing his food.i will never eat in there again.try not burning the food in the first place and you won't get customers complaining. So much for the customer is always right.horrible man.

I’ve been coming to this cafe on and off for many years and even though it’s changed it’s name you always get great tasting food and very friendly service. Never had any problems at this cafe.
