We have been going for years last few times things have changed, staff are not has engaging has they used to be, sometimes abrupt. Food this last time was aweful, main meal was too spicy and potatoes felt like they had been cooked since this afternoon. Dessert was frozen not pavlova has stated. Very disappointed

This place has a lovely atmosphere, rustic vintage warm Italian feel and very tasty food and wine. Yes, the manager is a bit of a tough one.... yet sometimes really lovely so dont let it put you off, do give this place a try. One thing I hate, is bad customer service so for me to keep returning, maybe i have adjusted but the other staff are always so lovely and can't do enough! Ive visited this restaurant over 10+ times now. I can't stay away from the delicious food!

We have been here many times and always found the food and service great, however tonight it was not! On arrival we were not walked to our table but just told “that’s your table there and we had to ask to order a drink 10mins later. When the waitress came to take our order to say she was blunt and not very friendly outdoors be an understatement. I ordered a ribeye well done with the sauce on the side not on top of the steak. (We have learnt through experience that if you do not ask for it this way there is simply too much poured on the meat) Yes I know people will go what? But that is how I like my steak, however what arrived was a tough piece of meat. No matter which side of the meat I tried it was the same. So I stopped the waitress - same one that ‘greeted us on arrival and taken our order! and politely told her that my steak was very tough but she then proceeded to try to tell me that this was my fault as I had ordered it well done and this was how it came … I then set her straight that I had visited the restaurant many times and always had my steak well done without any problems so she reluctantly changed it. No apology nothing just ATTITUDE, which was also noticed but the diners on an adjacent table. After quite a while my fresh meal came out, but the problems didn’t stop there, the sauce was now covering the plate of food and yes you guessed it the steak was rare to medium! This just smacked of ‘it’s your fault the steak was tough now you will get it how the Chef thinks you should and not how you want’ Needless to say I left most of this. The only saving grace was the waitress Jasmina, when she was clearing the table she noticed the amount of food left on my plate and asked if everything was ok. After explaining about the steak she couldn’t apologise enough, she deducted the steak from the bill and explained that they had been experiencing problems with staffing shortages etc. She was very good and what good customer service should be. However at no time did the original waitress come over to ask about the replacement meal or to see if everything was ok. I do believe she was the manager on duty for the night, she should get some training on basic manners and customer service. This restaurant is not cheap even with the one meal taken off our bill was £120.00 for the two of us. It was not the poor meal that has prompted me to write this review (it happens in the best of places) but the service or lack of provided by the on duty manger. The only one in the place who appeared to care was Jasmina!

We chose Cafe Casita as we’ve been many times before and it’s always been excellent. This was for my 60th birthday on 15th March. The menu has a good and varied number of dishes to choose from. Our starters were all excellent as were our 5 main courses. We also had great cocktails, beer and cider. We really couldn’t find fault with any of it at all. As the evening came to a close I was trying to book a taxi on my phone and at one stage just myself popped outside to get a better signal as we were seated right at the back of the restaurant. I came back inside and we asked for the bill. I finally got a taxi booked and we started to stand and get our coats from our chairs. None of us actually left the table, we just stood up when a lady behind the bar asked if we were “doing a runner” I was so shocked I just laughed and said no, we’re waiting here to pay the bill. She told me she would get the bill as she didn’t want us doing a runner. I have never, ever been spoken to like this in a restaurant, she wasn’t joking at all, but deadly serious. I have sent an email to them with no answer after a week. This is a lovely place with great food and, it appears, a problem with people not paying. But to accuse a family with 2, 60 year olds and an 84 year old in it is inexcusable. We may not return if this is their attitude.

Came for mother's day. Never been before. Really enjoyed the meal and the friendly staff. Made for a great family meal with the wife and kids.

As it is on our doorstep have been several times, on this occasion the food was as always delicious but evening let down by service. I arrived before my friends was seated quickly then just left there! No staff asked if I wanted a drink whilst waiting I had to get their attention after 15mins! When friends arrived staff were good in taking our order and delivery was good. At the end of the meal we asked for bill, still waiting 25mins later when other people asked after us who paid then left! We had to ask again and had to wait 10 more minutes! If we weren't honest good people we could have done a runner! Please look at your service techniques as let's you down sadly.

Visited with a group of work colleagues for a 50th birthday, food was good but the waitress (I think she may have been the manageress) was very abrupt and miserable, seemed rather put out that we didn’t order starters! Took a birthday cake but she made it very clear it was not to be cut and eat there, fair enough but I’ve never had that anywhere else I’ve taken a celebration cake. The place was busy with a nice atmosphere and we had a lovely evening but wouldn’t return.

Loved the ambiance and the food was wonderful. Will definitely go again. Husband had fish which was perfect and I had risotto.

Outstanding! Such a treat (visited 23/01 table for 5) Food was excellent quality, clearly made from scratch. We all had something different and it all looked amazing, really good portions too. Service was also great, really efficient. Really chilling atmosphere and experience.

Not a review about the food as we have yet been unable to book a table !!! 4 times now we have made a booking online, only to receive an email a while later saying that the reservation has been cancelled either due to over booking or a private party. Absolutely shocking and very disappointing. Shouldn't allow you to book if they're already full to capacity.

Been many times but this time service was not only very slow but very poor , starter was cold and breads not brought to the table so asked , oil dip given but still no bread until we asked again , we had to help ourselves to serviettes and black pepper ! Staff just kept rushing by and we couldn’t attract their attention, the meal was nice but again not very hot , we ordered dessert which was given and the staff walked away without providing spoons which took a while to ask someone to provide ,overall disappointing as it was a celebration meal

Just had a takeaway pizza and calzone. Food was just as good as if eating at the restaurant. Quick delivery and absolutely 1st class food. Strongly recommended.

Visited with my friend as we hadn't been in years, food was just as nice as I remembered, the 2 for £10 cocktails were good, alot better than the overpriced beers and wine. I would re visit with my husband.

Service à bit slow to start, but improved considerably. Main courses were great - portions on the large side! Carbonara lovely, risotto very rich, and desserts wonderful. Bit warm in the restaurant, but nice atmosphere and a very reasonable bill. I’d recommend wholeheartedly!

Another lovely night spent at cafe Casita the staff were pleasant and friendly as usual. The food was delicious and so were the cocktails. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Went out for anniversary dinner. Waitress was really lovely and accommodating. Food service is slow but we didn’t mind too much.

We have visited Cafe Casita several times and it is always a wonderful experience with great food. You can't beat the hospitality of a private Italian restaurant where the owners manage with a passion. Staff and service have always been outstanding - the food and service are both so much better than a chain restaurant.Our most recent trip was a party of 10, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, as on every previous occasion. Our children love it and it is our grandchildren's favourite place to eat. My daughter says the spaghetti carbonara is the best she has ever had.Thoroughly recommended.

First visit and will be last.. went from excellent to disappointed within half an hour of being there… the starters were nice loved it!! The mains were nice at first but eating.. me being me when the waitress came over first time asking how was the food and I was like yeah good.. but after some bites later the garlic in the risotto just took over was just overpowering.. I asked if it’s possible to take it home and she was like no it’s sea food we are not allowed.. if can’t take it home why is it on just eat menu.. I just don’t understand the logic.. then I was like I can’t eat it it’s just over powering with garlic all you could taste was pure garlic might aswell given me a garlic clove instead of the risotto. The waitress literally gave me attitude and was like “you should of said something first time round and we could of done something about it” so I spent £££ on a lovely starter! She seen my plate was still full hardly touch didn’t even offer like knock some price on it (I work in hospitality aswell) The other staff was nice just the one (iasmia) who needs to control her face expressions and attitude when talking to guests when there’s situation like that!

Booked for an early Saturday evening meal. Place was stifling, no air conditioning. We arrived on time yet waited 35 minutes for order to be taken. The meals were not worth waiting for, Lasagna was a bowl of pulped tomatoes with a very small amount of meat dropped in the centre with cheese grilled over meat. Needed a spoon to drink the lasagna. Over priced, over rated and certainly very uncomfortable with very poor cheap décor and loud non Italian music. If one wants basic good value for money, non fuss décor and good music go to Frankie & Benny's or even better still for the total works of outstanding Italian dining go to Michelangelo's in Brierley Hill.

First off, it was absolutely baking in this restaurant and there was no air condition.. completely ruined the experience. So hot, sweating non stop. Average temp outside was 29 and in the restaurant probably similar too. Looking around it was clear others were struggling too. Ive never been to a restaurant in this country that doesn’t have air conditioning.The food was decent but very average and lacking in seasoning. We had a spaghetti Bolognese and a creamy chicken dish. The chicken tasted fine but had this thick gloopy cream sauce trying to complement it. Might try the restaurant again but I recommend you avoid in this sweltering heat.

Had been here a few years ago and thought we'd try it again. Very disappointed with customer service. Wrong starter was brought out and rather than take the 2 starters back, took one, which left one of us eating on our own. Had to ask for the drinks menu. No-one asked if our meal was alright, we were sitting by regulars and they asked those. Meal was ok but nothing special. Asked to see the manager who knocked some money off the bill. Appreciate they were busy but even so. I've had better customer service in my local Indian and a better Italian from M & S. Won't be returning.

Cafe Casita has become a firm family favourite!! Despite being in lockdown we have managed to dine in 3 times this year, service is amazing and food is exceptional!! Since being in tier 3 we have discovered you can order a takeaway, pretty much the full menu is available on UberEats. The food is well packed and presented and delicious. Yes, it may be a bit pricey for a takeaway but we are supporting a fabulous local business and if it wasn't for the restrictions we would definitely be dining in!! Cannot wait to go back, until then we'll continue treating ourselves to a takeaway!!

After eating in many many times without fault and because of lockdown we decided to order take away. What can I say? Food was just as delicious as ever! Large portions and arrived piping hot! Good to support local restaurants and will definately use this service again! Keep up the good work! ( sorry no pictures was too hungry) :-)

We have used Cafe a casita in the past but never again. After what we thought would be a special anniversary meal we were left with a huge bill and very little to show for it. To start we were sat down and not directed to the information on how to access the menu (which is through a QR code) when we eventually figured this out we were offered some drinks. The starter was antipasti which if I am honest could have been purchased anywhere for a better taste and experience. The one meant honestly reminded me of BILLY BEAR from a child. The mains came and can only be described as meat in sauce. The stereotypical 3* all inclusive meal we have all experienced. There was little taste and the amount of sides was exceptionally disappointing. My husband had 3 carrot Battons and 1 broccoli floret. My husband never leaves food and he left some of this. I can honestly say the service was poor and the staff were rude, the food is overpriced for the amount and taste and the experience was poor. If you want to pay for food that you can make for half the cost at home then please go ahead!

Sinceramente, mi aspettavo di più al livello del cibo. La mia pizza era giusto mangiabile e i salumi dell’antipasto di mediocre qualità e minima quantità. La prossima volta, se ci sarà, proverò una pasta. Il locale è simpatico, ma un po’ esagerato nel voler apparire “italiano” e il servizio cortese e sollecito. Per il fatto di essermi trovato bene attribuisco a La Casita il voto 4 sebbene per il cibo valga appena 3.

Had an amazing time for my girlfriends birthday, the service was excellent and the food delicious! Was pleasantly surprised by the number of veggie options

Catch up with friends, 5 of us, 2nd visit this year 1st was with 2 other friends pre lockdown and was ok. On this recent visit we all had starters, cant comment on others but I had Pate which was tiny. Now I know you'll probably think "well it is a starter" but when I say there was 3 nice size pieces of chiabata and 1 lettuce leaf, there wasn't enough pate to cover 1 piece of bread that's how small the portion was. Taste was abit plasticy (I know thats not a word but you get the picture) My Main was chicken (the flattened one in breadcrumbs with ham and cheese). It was greasy and tasteless and left a coating on the roof of my mouth. We didn't bother with puddings. Service was fine but not much in the way of health and safety as regards covid. Watched them clear the table next to us and nothing was wiped down. Not the table or the chairs or the salt shaker that everyone had used in the middle of the table, no masks or visors by the servers unlike the majority of other restaurants we've been to where all servers are wearing visors and masks, paper menus are destroyed after each table has used them, cutlery and condiments in separate container for diners to get their own - no none of that here AND they don't have disposable menus.Can't quite put my finger on it but didn't feel comfortable there so won't be going again

Would give a ZERO STARS if i could. have eaten here ever since the place opened and will never be going again after last night. Something has changed with this place. Not just the worst meal I have ever had at casita's, but possibly the worst meal I have ever had. Portion size - well, £6.95 for 4 prawns. Yeah..... 2 TINY sea bass fillets £16.95 - tasteless, cold, as if it had been boiled in plain water and put on a plate with some onion gravy on the top, about 6 chips and 2 ridiculously tiny broccoli florets.... no taste to the dish and the gravy was starting to skin over by the time it got put on the table. Dessert, the smallest slice of choc-fudge cake on earth so sent back and it was swapped for a larger piece but it (and this is not made up i swear) went down and left a nasty "snotty" feeling in my throat like somebody spat in it. Its now 3am and I cannot sleep a wink. Like, wide awake.If this is not bad enough, there were 6 of us and it was the exact same story with every single thing that came to the table. The draught beer changed. Pint not even filled uo, horrible, spiny, yeasty foam on top of it. We waited 50 minutes for the starter to arrive and by the time you get it your that hungry you just eat it. Looking back I wish I walked out and went to McDonald's (i hate mcdonalds).Then there was the service. Some young girl playing about like a child, snatching the cutlery away from you as you reach for it, putting your main course down and telling you its something different (it makes you mad when you've been ripped off with the starter and waited so long, like "dont tell me I've got 2 wait for another meal now....), flirting with all the men... where did she come from? Mcdonalds? Very immature. Don't know whats happened to this place but I will never be eating here again. I feel well ripped off. They give you hardly anything and charge the earth. Now its 3am, im wide awake like I've had a bag of pro-plus and I've got a horrible load of crap I cant get out of my throat.

Lovely meal was had by all, 6 of us seated within a few minutes of arrival, just had to wait for the other customers to get up. Food was great and the waitresses kept checking if we needed any thing else which was nice. Couldn't fault it. Very good.

My partner had our first visit tonight and can’t believe we haven’t been before every thing was just fabulous staff where all kind and helpful special mention to the young lady who reali went above and tried to make jokes with us . Food wow so much value for money we can’t wait to book again we certainly won’t be long before we back again xx

On our door step and never had a bad meal. Think we have nearly worked our way through the entire menu over the last few years. Bringing in the new pizza menu has just caused us too much choice. It’s definitely our go to place for a nice meal with friendly service

Thankyou Anna and Staff fir another great evening. Prosecco ordered in advance as a surprise arrived as we sat down. Food and atmosphere excellent. We held my wife's 60th and retirement party here last year, just keep coming back. Been coming here as a couple or with friends and family, firm favourite....always excellent.

Although it has changed its name and had the outside painted, the decor inside is still the same. Went for the early bird menu-£14.95 for 2 courses and £4 if you want dessert. Good selection of food and drinks. Wine expensive. Order taken but waited ages before the starter arrived. Restaurant not very busy. Starter arrived hot and tasty with a good size portion. Pizzas arrived a while later. Although it states there is a wood fired oven, the pizzas unfortunately weren't anything special.No room for dessert so not sure what the choices were.Hadnt been here for about 3 years as it had become rather expensive.Sorry to say we won't be in a rush to return.

Great venue classically trained staff very good service and food was excellent. You can tell the manageress has a high level of standards that she shows her staff I observed while I was there without being an overbearing boss. Food was so nice and service was excellent.we ordered bread balsamic and olive oil, prawns and pate starter, pork belly and sea bass. Wine and Guinness excellent. Will definitely be visiting this little gem as it is local to me don't know why we gave not tried before now. Thankyou for a great evening.

Food excellent, service excellent. Decor absolutely terrible! Glad we sat by the window, so we could look outside. Very outdated, interior, quite a shock when you walk in! Stuff & painted walls everywhere. Enough to bring on a migraine.

A very busy Saturday night visit to this restaurant. Despite being busy the service was very good, attentive but not intrusive. The food offered a good choice on both the main and specials menus. Our food was excellent and served at a comfortable pace. We were neither rushed nor left waiting. All round a good choice whether in a party or couple, and well worth straying away from town centre restaurants.

We booked for our New Year’s Eve meal. Pre order which came out wrong and then we told them instead of just correcting it we had about 4 staff members come up to us rather than just getting it sorted. The starter was ok but so small, the mains were just microwaved no flavour. Dessert was nice. My daughter was crying due to her order being wrong(she’s only 2) and she thought that she was going to have pasta instead of the chips and the staff offered her sweets just to shut her up! I don’t reward my children for crying but anyways....We felt very rushed and then £200 later we felt that for the amount of money we had to pay it was a disgrace. I know New Year’s Eve is expensive but they charge £10 for a child’s portion of chips and a child’s ice cream! We all only had one drink so yes very expensive for rubbish and little amount of food.We have been here a few times but the quality of this and how we were treated me and my family will not be returning!!!The restaurant should state if they don’t want young children in their restaurant

Lovely food! The service is excellent very polite and friendly waitresses. The menu has an excellent selection . The food is the tastiest Italian we have had. Presentation also good we will definitely be returning .

I have been here several times as only a 10 minute walk from home! And always had excellent time but first time for my husband! We both had a lovely evening food, service and ambience excellent, cannot fault it and think both of us will be going back again.

I visited here with 3 friends beginning of october for the second time and was not disappointed. The food and atmosphere were excellent. Friendly and helpful staff who really made us feel welcome. Good quality at reasonable price. Will definitely be returning and will recommend to everyone.

The decor is fine and the place looks decent when you arrive. The food was awful and the order was wrong. We started off with garlic bread and meatballs. The garlic bread was ok but the meatballs were cut in half and very few. I know it was a starter but I did expect more than a baby portion - it’s not cheap. The steaks were not cooked as we ordered them, medium rare, they were rare very bloody. The waitress took them back and when she returned with them, the steak came back cut into slices? It was more cooked and ok but in bits, really?? As a GWG, they gave us more garlic bread, just like we had already eaten. The meal cost in excess of £70.00 for 2 people. Will never ever go back and waste my money again. There are much better places to eat.

Good food an excellent choice available, especially on the specials menu. Really good wines on offer (ask the waitress for her advice!!) Warm , friendly, busy atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Fresh veg served, not many restaurants where you get them!! A brilliant evening! They are open on lunchtimes too.

Every time we come here this place is top notch. The fillet was perfectly cooked and the veal was tender and tasty as usual.

Would be brilliant if slightly more affordable would visit a lot more often. However the food and drink are very good. Just feel slightly lower prices would increase custom as often empty tables.

We came across this restaurant purely by chance and we delighted that we did. Pleasant Italianate decor inside, not at all what we expected, set the tone for a most enjoyable evening. The staff could not have been more welcoming and the food ranged from pizzas and pastas to fish and grills. All the usual Italian favourites, Only criticism was that the portions were too big and we had no room for a dessert all of which looked delicious. A great range of non alcoholic cocktails, ideal for the duty driver.

We had a lovely meal here this afternoon. My daughter Lexie loved it ,she said it was the best pizza, and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

I was confused by this restaurant before I got there. The web site says “Bringing an authentic taste of Italy to the heart of the Midlands, our menu offers a variety of creations to suit all tastes” then immediately goes on to talk about pork in Jack Daniels sauce - and I always thought the bourbon came from the USA!

We’ve eaten here several times because it’s very close and we don’t have to drive. The thing is though, it’s just not very good and it’s very expensive and over priced for what you actually get. Last night was the last time we’ll go there. My starter of spare ribs (with a fancy Italian name) we’re just a generic BBQ tasting tiny portion. I got one very small rib, a tiny bone with no meat at all, and a quarter rib. When I scraped the actual meat off, it wasn’t two fork fulls! My main was a fillet steak cooked blue. To be fair it was cooked properly. But, it was covered in (my requested) peppercorn sauce, which was mostly cream. It tasted like a cream sauce. And there’s a big problem with this place. Its difficult to find anything on the menu where the description doesn’t end with “...in a creamy sauce”! Chicken.... in a creamy sauce.... veal.... in a creamy sauce etc. The bill arrived and it was £105 for 4 starters and mains (steak, two pizzas and a carbonara) plus two ice cream puddings and drinks. My wife had chosen a Prosecco from the menu at £5.95. The bill said £8 so we queried it with the waitress. She said, no, it’s £8 so I asked her to look at the menu and show us. She said that the £5.95 was a glass, and what my wife had had was a small bottle (containing one glass) which was £8. I asked her to show me that on the menu. She said it’s not on the menu. This was a point of principle now but she wasn’t backing down and fetched another waitress, who backed her up. Eventually the manager arrived, half apologised and deducted £2 from the bill. We left without leaving a £10 tip and decided never to visit again. If you’ve never been to Italy you could be fooled into thinker n this is typical Italian food, but it isn’t. It’s anglicised Italian food....... the chicken tikka masala of Italian food.

What a wonderful lunch at our favourite place.From perfectly cooked steak,fabulous Lamb cutlets and Halibut on a bed of Mash WOW!! Coupled with great tasting wines and excellent service from Anna and her staff what more could we ask for.

I was recommended Cafe Cassita by my friend, and we weren’t disappointed. Fabulous food, which was piping hot, perfect chilled glass of wine, and lovely, quirky decor - excellent menu too, with a great choice of food. we will definitely be going back again.

Tried this place for the first time. Very authentic Italian though the staff did keep coming up to the table whilst we were trying to eat. The meals were delicious and good value. However the Cannoli desert was THE BEST I have ever had. You know when you keep thinking about something that tasted amazing? And you don’t want it to end? I would seriously come back for this pudding alone absolutely crazy good!

Me and my boyfriend visited here at 8:30pm Saturday night for a well needed date night which was well over due. All of the staff were very welcoming and very attentive getting us drinks whenever our glasses were empty. The food was amazing and a great price two! we both had pasta and meetballs which were delicious. This was our first visit and will definitely be returning! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the customer service was excellent! Thanks to all of the staff!

Attended for a family meal. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food was fantastic, although it must be said the veg portions were fairly scant. The garlic bread was mildly garlicky only. The restaurant was very efficient and the timings of staff were spot on. I would return with pleasure, but not my husband as he was not full. The lasagne was peppery, and so was shared.

We have meant to visit this restaurant for years and finally did on our wedding anniversary just before Christmas. I must admit I was a bit dubious as we entered as some of the younger waitresses were getting a sharp telling off from a senior member of staff. Not the best first impression, however we were greeted pleasantly and promptly seated. There was a very wide range of food on the menu. We just shared bread and oil to start which was fine. I had a pork dish for my main course and my husband had lamb cutlets. My pork was beautifully cooked, so tender. Husband’s lamb was good too. We shared a cheesecake which was lovely too. The girls who waited on our table were very polite and efficient. We certainly enjoyed our visit and will return when I’m not on my diet!!!!

Just love, love ,love this place. Beautiful ambiance, lovely staff and the food is the best you will ever taste. Last visit was New Years Eve when we had a set 3 course meal. Starter was mushrooms followed by best and most succulent steak I've ever had in my life all followed by strawberry cheesecake. It was such a special night and we enjoyed it so much. Our thanks to Cafe Casita and it's wonderful staff especially the Chef for his amazingly prepared dishes. See you all again soon x

A few of our friends have eaten here, and being my favourite food we thought we would give it a go. Friendly greeting nice atmosphere. Food was superb just a few little things missing...had mussels to start but no finger bowl... perhaps we should of asked. No prices on the cocktail menu but the wine was good. We will definitely go again.

A family group of 10 had Christmas Day Lunch at Cafe Cassita.We had chosen varied options from the menu and none of us were disappointed .The Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked and lamb shank was lovely along with the traditional turkey dinner.

We came here on a 2 course Groupon deal for 2 with a £55 spend limit, but found out that each starter or dessert could not exceed £5.95 each and the mains could not exceed £12.95 each. With a drink on top, that comes to just over £41. So I'm not sure how to reach the value of the voucher.

We visisted with friends who had come to stay with us, they travelled from Buxton and it was a pleasure to take them to Cafe Casita ! a great choice of dishes all freshly prepared and beautifully presented , good value wine too. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening, this place is one of our favourite locals.

Just got back from cafe casita, booked a table for 7pm for me and my daughter, service very good, food nice and hot when it came out and well presented, would definitely return

My partner and I love this place, if you close the curtains and ignore the view from the window you would think you were in Italy. Great food, reasonably priced and romantic. Going for Christmas Day dinner this year and we can't wait!!!!

Ate here on a 'Wowcher' deal in what is a nice restaurant if not a little 'twee', it's walls painted with Italian themes; vines and dubious artwork.

I don’t have one word to say about this place.just amazing food...

First visit last night after hearing good reports. We was not disappointed the food was delicious. It was very busy but that didn’t effect the service, it was second to none and always with a smile!! Portion sizes were a little big but very tasty. This is definitely our new favorite place to go.

Haven’t visited Cafe Casitas for years. Used to go regularly when it first opened and loved it. We decided to try as none of us had been for such a long time and it is local - what a disappointment.

Service was ok, they did mix a few of the starts one and had to remind them but soon brought them out and apologised bearing in mind we had a big party. Pork belly starter was amazing proberly one of the best pork belly I've had. I had lasagne for main which I never really have as I always compare with me own, and it wasn't as nice but was ok. For dessert I had chocolate cake and can't really go wrong with that was nice.... would probably go again but with a small party.

Very nice place and good Italian food, definitely will come back again. Service is very nice and all the people are happy to help with an advice and make your visit unforgettable

We visited Café Casita last night with a Groupon voucher, the food was lovely, it was hot and tasty. The service was excellent too, it was so good we have booked to go back in November. The good thing also is that it's not a chain either. Would highly recommend it!!

I'd fancied a Tournedos Rossini for ages. Tonight my wife and I decided to push the boat out a bit and scratch that itch at Cafe Casita.

Not been here for about 16 months but everything was still as good as ever. Great choice of food to cater for all tastes. I question why I had left it so long to come again. Won't happen again as I think Cafe Casita needs to be visited on a regular basis.

First impressions was of a packed dining room with a good atmosphere. I'm assuming the majority were using a Groupon voucher, as we were.

I visited here just over a week ago with a friend. Before visiting, I purchased a Groupon voucher for two main courses and a glass of wine for two people.

Really nice traditional Italian. Worth a visit. Affordable / expensive prices but quality food and good service from staff.

Thought id take some foreigners out on a business trip. Had been here in march and was a disaster hoping it may be different no chance. Total crap rubbish waste of money thinking about suing them . Not fit for purpose.

I last ate here 10 years ago.. it still has the same decor, style and tables!!!! Nothing as changed..

What a fabulous find, we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary so wanted somewhere special and this place didn’t disappoint. The food is superb, service second to none and the atmosphere was buzzing. Smoke salmon for me and a seafood start for hubby, gorgeous! Steak and pork belly for mains served with fresh veg all washed down with a bottle of Moët. Love love love it here. The most surprising thing I was the bill, really good value. Try this restaurant you won’t be disappointed.

Had not been here for many years after a poor experience. We were told it had changed, and what a change. Staff lovely, food delicious, will be back.

After driving around looking for somewhere to eat,we passed cafe castita deciding to go in was a good move.We were quite early eating so we were in there alone,friendly staff very welcoming. ordering our food which was absolutely gorgeous we had a couple of drinks,there was no rushing us very relaxing.The chocolate fudge cake was delicious,would highly recommend this place will definitely be returning.

An Italian retreat in Gornal. What a little gem, after a long day we popped in, we were welcomed in and what a choice of Italian delights. We enjoyed warm bread whilst waiting for our meal, the sea bass special was amazing with mussels and clams, selection of vegetables and potatoes. Nothing was too much trouble for the ladies and I would recommend for a friendly, Italian experience. Thank you.
