Visited this morning with my wife and two children had a very warm welcome from all of the staff including the chef Despite the bad review below the food quality was excellent including the vegetarian breakfast my wife had, plenty of food and amazing value for money A highchair was definitely available as my daughter sat in it, one of the staff even cut my daughters food up for her, I don't think you can get any friendlier than that There wasn't a children's menu that I could see but the chef was very accommodating in making a full meal go between my two children separating the food out for them onto two plates and making sure they didn't have to wait to start eating he made there food as soon as he heard what they were having. So my husband is gluten ignorance so I had the sauage toast and the cook manager came over spoke to us and asked about what he could have. The kind gentleman gave him mushrooms extra and tomatoes to make up his food. It was delicious we will come back again staff lovely and friendly

Avoid if you have allergies, they do not cater for these. Asked if they do a plant based spread as my daughter has a cows milk allergy and the chiefs response was "what sort of question is that" rather than simply says no sorry we don't. Food is way over priced for the quality, table are that close you can't get a pram around and no highchairs. DEFINITELY 100% WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS CAFÉ!! ***UPDATE TO CHEFS RESPONSE AS IT WOULD NOT LET ME REPLY*** I'm afraid that you are very much mistaken, we visited your cafe on Saturday 29th @ 9:15, we ordered jam and Toast which had no butter because it was an only diary opinion, cheese toastie and bacon sandwich, maybe this will recap your memory, as mentioned my daughter has an allergy, we ALWAYS check for a dairy alternative. You should be able to cater to these needs into 2024. Looking through your reviews this response does not surprise me... More like shame on you for lying from one small business owner to another. From the picture attached you can clearly see we was there for an hour

Lovely local cafe by Weymouth beach sea front. Lovely owners very welcoming atmosphere, dog friendly inside and outside. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Weymouth on holiday.

A great cafe. I ordered a hot chocolate & it was the best one I've ever had. The cheese & onion toasty was delicious with lots of melted cheese. The owner & waitress were a delight. Very welcoming & friendly. Very good value for money. Cash only, which I loved. Use it or lose it ! We will certainly go there again. A great little gem.

What a laugh we had... from the start we had banter and just so nice to be dining in. If you are gluten free, be prepared for an experience never to be forgotten. I will definitely go back, the young lady who served us was brilliant and so was the owner. I have never read so many food labels in one sitting. It actually felt like having breakfast at a good friend's house where everyone chipped in and everyone laughed. Cracking place!! Thank you all.

If you’re after a classic English breakfast done well, then this place is perfect. Visited this place twice on a weekend break. Good price, good food and even when the cafe was extremely busy the owner still found the time to be friendly and welcoming.

Sat here now, lovely toasted teacake with a good pot of tea. Clean, friendly, what more do you want.

Lovely cafe on the front at Weymouth. Brilliant friendly staff - owner and a waitress. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast amazing 3 people 2 didn’t like sausage so the owner was happy to change an item. He was so friendly with it. Brilliant 🤩 cafe. We come to Weymouth a couple of days each year and we always come to blue cafe each time!! See u next year 🥰

We turned up and sat outside, which was what we wanted. The menu was largely of the fried eggs, sausages, beans and bacon variety. This is not the place for smashed avacado, hollandaise sauce or smoked salmon! The portions were generous, the food was well cooked and the prices were very reasonable. A special shout out for the hot chocolate. It actually had some body to it, unlike the watery, tasteless slop that you can get elsewhere. I would definitely return.

Good prices for location, right on the seafront. Large full English was very nice but the pancakes were most disappointing. They were just 5 plastic packet pancakes from supermarket, not even warmed up enough. Quick, friendly service though.

Nice small cafe on the beachfront, we had the tuna melt chips and coffees and was beautiful. Good price value. Would be happy to return.

What a great little cafe. I only had a drink but served by a lovely young person. The location overlooking the beach is stunning. Will definitely be going back.

Watch out for gulls. My sister ended up wearing my mums coffee because of them. Coffee was kindly replaced.

We come here for breakfast every time we stay in Weymouth! Not only is the food amazing but the servers and the owner are amazing and super friendly! Worth the visit!

We visited this cafe 2 years ago and went back 1 July this year because we enjoyed it then. They are Dog friendly which as dog lovers we love. The breakfasts were lovely and because my daughter is fussy with bacon she was able to swap it for hash browns win win !! Large pot of tea for 2 gave us plenty of cups of tea. Set us up well for the day

First time in here today (good friday) nothing negative ...full praise to the young girl who took my order as I'm quite fussy lol no Tom's, no beans, change for mushrooms etc oh and well done bacon...food piping hot coffee , bloody hot ...burnt my mouth .so out 10 a massive 10 (Also allowed my elderly dog in)

Cafe blue needs improvement I tried their pancakes which they felt not freshly made and dipt in sugar the syrup too, which was not maple syrup. Don't make me start with the coffee.... I ordered a cappuccino, the greatest disappointment of all cappuccinos I have tried in my life. I suspect they used cream on the top instead of the foam of a cappuccino which led to a tremendous messy mug and unbalanced temperature of the coffee The coffee also was strong and bitter Any option of alternative milk is not an option Generally the city center coffe shops I noticed they don't have the skills to make a proper cappuccino, a few coffee shops make more decent than others, but this particular one, is not worth any price paying I wish all the best to Cafe Blue as it has a great location and represents the majority of the shops! Also I asked for a refund for my coffee but the person, the manager of the shop, I spoke to refused to accept my feedback and became all sudden upset which I can relate and empathize But I can not point much how much of a waste of money the whole purchase was

Great breakfast great sea view watch the world go bye they even gave me a glass sugar dispenser so no tree died to sweeten my tea and I didn't have to take 5 mins to unwrap those stupid little oacks of sugar you need 10 to get 2 spoons of sugar ridiculous

I don't usually give any bad review but definitely won't recommend to anyone. One of the worst service I have ever encountered. Very rude towards customers. I'm really not happy by the she handled my order and by the way she talked to me.

I would like to say I have autism, adhd and learning difficulties , so I ordered a large breakfast everything was ok but all I asked for is the fried eggs to be changed as I don’t like the texture then the eggs are over cooked. So he was like I don’t understand and raising his voice like making me feel like I didn’t want to be there so I didn’t eat and made me cry as I was trying to explain but he wasn’t listening or he was like what do you want me to do about it and I was telling him but still kept saying what do you want me to do about it. So I wouldn’t go back there not even it was the last place on earth. Whoever reads this I hope you understand what I’m trying to say thanks
