Cafe and in Eastbourne

The tea and tea cakes were good quality.We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely be visiting very soon and feel very lucky to have this delightful cafe on my doorstep.Great service to.

Nos encontramos con este café después de visitar Waitrose. La cafetería está en un lado del estacionamiento. La bienvenida fue genial y después de ver la ensalada de vegetales asados ​​el día antes volvimos a probarlo. Excelente. Está cerrado durante agosto. Ve en septiembre, no te decepcionará.

All great - the food was excellent and the desserts truly amazing - Eastbourne you have a treasure if it was in the East Village in NYC you'd have to queue for hours.

Me and partner really enjoyed the authentic tapas, real home made food - you could tell all was made in house. Definitely will return.

went with a couple of friends. the staff were lovely everything tasted amazing, very catering and charismatic. my favorite dish was the muscle kebabs and all are dishes took a short time to come out everything hot and i just cherished this place because of the benevolent environment will defiantly go there again. very Nicene and cool spot *****

Really lovely menu and excellent for vegetarians. Beetroot dip with homemade bread was delicious. Service excellent. We will be visiting again.

Tuvimos que esperar más de 30 minutos para un simple desayuno preparado, no disculpa cuando finalmente llegamos.me había pedido el desayuno con tostadas y me dijeron que sí lo hizo. El "tostadas" era 2 gruesas rebanadas de pan foccacia ligeramente calentado. Me gusta focaccia pan pero no tostadas, y no es lo que quieres comer con un desayuno inglés frito.lo pedí ordinairy tostadas, pero no no lo tenían, así que he dicho bien podría por lo menos tostadas la focaccia? Muy maleducado respuesta. Fue plonked en la mesa después que había terminado y mi marido estaba pagando. El realmente desagradable y hosco, y la comida era basura también muy grasienta. No me sorprende el lugar estaba casi vacío. Una experiencia deprimente.

Tras comentarios favorables de amigos en el almuerzo nos fuimos a cenar y estaban completamente abrumados. Un divertido y moderno toque de tradicionales tapas españolas. Rica en sabor, ajo y especias esta comida hará de su corazón cálido y mantener su luz de estómago. Para rematar, el dueño es encantador y el café se cultivan en Monmouth café, los instigadores de movimiento artesanal de café de Londres. Venga para el té y estancia para la cena!

WE had a delightful family evening here, the good thing is the portions are small but priced accordingly so a couple could have plenty of choice. Service quite slow but this helped to prolong a good evening. The food is good and interesting. Surprised to see they are closing for two weeks so soon after opening. Sorry we did not see Jane on this evening perhaps she was already on holiday.

We have just had a really nice evening here at Cafe and.All the dishes we tried were scrummy from the grilled chicken, garlic prawns, garlic beans, belly of pork and so on. Every dish delicious in its own right. Jane is a wonderful hostess and just so passionate about her food. Altogether a great environment and a good place to eat. Thank you Jane

A great place to meet with friends and share great food in a relaxed environment. We had a super selection of tapas - anchovies, wings, calamari, and beans with chorizo followed by fresh paella. All very tasty. Would highly recommend

You'll not find a better breakfast/brunch in Eastbourne, really tasty and cooked from fresh. Highly recommended. Looking forward to trying the tapas soon.In my opinion, if there was some music in the background it would add to the experience. Also an earlier opening time could be a bonus.

Best Coffee I have had in ages. Was worth the wait. Mum had Victoria sponge with lavender and almond essence. Pop in after shopping at Waitrose.

Very impressed with the ambience and friendliness of this restaurant. The food was outstanding if a little bit slow to serve the eight of us. This was because there was only one waitress doing her best to serve a full restaurant. I see they are recruiting so this will solve the problem. Extra bonus is take your own wine which makes it a very inexpensive evening

We like the look of the restaurant, and the food was middling to good, but the service left a lot to be desired. The staff where fine, but the organization was poor.The cost of the tapas, given their size,was a little on the high side, but the dips where far too expensive.Left wanting more having had four tapas each.Liked the option to bring your own wine

Fantastic evening. I frequent tapas restaurants a lot as it is one of my favourite foods and can say that this is definitely one of my favourite tapas restaurants. Also love the fact it's BYO. Lovely friendly attentive staff. Almost feel like one of the family. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know

Have now visited twice in a few weeks. Local independent business in Waitrose car park with byo licence. Lovely freshly cooked tapas with wide selection of meat and veggie options. Can't recommend this enough and are very surprised that there is only 1 review however I know it has only been trading a few months. Go and visit them as you won't be disappointed . Only open Thur-Sat evenings so booking highly recommended

My 94-year-old adventurous mother really enjoyed the vibe at this restaurant which served a special Mother's Day lunch on 14 March 2015, attracting a varied age group who enjoyed beautifully and imaginatively cooked chicken, fish and vegetarian options. Jane, who makes everything, including breads and cakes, on the premises, is open as a cafe during the day from Thursday to Saturday and on Friday and Saturday evenings offers delicious and increasingly popular tapas dishes. There is no licence but customers, who quickly become friends of Jane and each other, are invited to bring in their own booze. But with or without alcohol, diners will find themselves caught up in the convivial atmosphere. Love it!
