Breakfast was nice. Staff member who took my order was nice. The staff member who brought my coffee then breakfast over clearly didn't have any customer service skills. Didn't speak to me, didn't offer me any sauces like she did the other customers. If I hadn't already paid I would have walked out and left the order. First time and last time coming here. Not spending my hard earned money to pay someones wages who hasn't got the manners to even smile, speak or say hello. She needs to replace her shiny jacket with a shiny smile and better customer service.

Just had the stake and ale pie chips mushy peas and gravy it was very nice indeed xx

Staff are attentative and polite, and the food is good value for money. Our little family popped in there for lunch and came away satisfied and full!

I've gave a 4 in review come here for my breakfast honest review the Portions are very good however the eggs seem under cooked and mushroom not so nice but in general the food at ameila is pretty good hot chocolate 😋 👌

I always enjoy lunches or a small bite at Cafe Amelia. They offer a big selection of lunches and the service is very friendly.

Have roast beef dinner for two every Sunday faultless

The BEST sunday dinner ever! I was going to say delicious, but this was devine! Everything was fresh, the veg was perfect and not the normal mush you get, the mash was superb and the beef was melt in the mouth. Perfect and will order again. Thank you

Fancied a roast , did not disappoint, had beef delivered through just eat , was fast hot and the potato’s crispy , thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful , incl the cabbage , def ordering that again

Oh my goodness!! I bought the breakfast cob, filling and delisous. My husband had the belly buster !! A family of four could have dined on it 🤣😂 a true challenge for any hearty man. Face the challenge!!!

I came in with an autistic person who had a very specific order, and the lady behind the counter was only too happy to oblige! Thanks for a lovely lunch.

I love this place. We often go on a Sunday for a full veggie breakfast before having a walk round Arnold. Good stuff.

First impression is good but the Full English breakfast was not really nice. Egg not fried correctly, mushrooms taste very bad. Only 1 small toast and I paid nearly £10 with 2extra hashbrowns. In general small portion. 2 stars because bacon was good. Will never back here again

Wouldn't even give 1 star, but no option to give 0 stars. Ordered breakfast through just eat. Took just under 2 hours for delivery, contacted the cafe and was told it had been sent out with the driver and was on the way. Just eat app hadn't updated and 25 min later still no food. Rang back and the staff didn't seem to know what to say, should have rehearsed their lies a bit better. The excuse was the ticket had gone missing and the just eat driver was the reason for the delay. I know this is untrue as the delivery driver wasn't even assigned till 1hr45 later. Staff extremely rude and lying through the phone call. Would not recommend ordering as the wait times are ridiculous. Last time we ordered too we waited an hour for delivery.

I go in here every day the food is shocking u don’t need to pay extra for a hair the cafe is not very clean expensive to try someone else 0/10 stairs

Absolutely appalling waited over half an hour for food, asked for money back got a half baked sorry in return. Avoid like the plague, will never go back again.

Had a mega breakfast.... Best takeaway brekkie I've ever had. Big hash browns, quality sausages and bacon. Everything really nice and well cooked. My new cafe spot for Arnold.

2 stars ordered breakfast on uber eats took over a hour to come food was freezing soggy Different drivers kept picking up but they're not picking up the order took over an hour an hour for the food normally food nice from here very disappointed been a few orders like this 😑

2 stars some staff seem friendly others not so have order pot of tea, and just tea get a small cup with drop of milk not impressed. Thanks for replying, I have on occasions when visiting noticed at least one person who looks miserable, and me personally I like enough milk with my tea, and at Amelias have to use most of my milk for one cup, these are the reasons for my comment.

Ordered on Uber eats and the food came extremely quickly. However, the food was very greasy and the bacon was rather undercooked and cold upon arrival. The rest was just fine, not good and filled our hunger but we will not be ordering from here again. Also, for what it was... The food was overpriced. I feel like the care taken with it was minimal at best.

I've been here on this Sunday. They are "cooking" frozen food. None of the kitchen staff were any gloves when handling food. I can't recommend this place

Gone downhill since changing hands. Not as much sandwich selection. Asked for an egg and cucumber cob and got a fried egg (with cucumber) as they don’t do a basic sandwich place staple like egg mayo. The tea (just basic) isn’t great, nor is the coffee. They did happily change my order when they made a mistake however.

Amazing service, very clean. Fast service, food was cooked exactly how I asked. Overall 10/10 very good **highly recommend**

The staff were friendly when we first came in until the food arrived. Staff slammed the plate on the table. The food was not up to standards, half the food looked mouldy or uncooked. Swimming in oil and grease. So most of the food wasn’t touched. Staff seemed unbothered that the food wasn’t eaten and still had a full plate when going back to the kitchen, and didn’t ask how it was or a thank you.

First class food and service. The place is spacy,( they have removed a few tables) to accommodate push chairs etc and the food is well prepped and hot. The staff are pleasant and personable, menu is ample and affordable. Excellent value all round.

Two huge Sunday Roasts for £12. Had a choice of beef, pork or chicken. I had the beef and it was perfectly cooked with all the accompaniments. A great find and I'll be back because the only problem was I had no room for dessert 😉

Stunning roast pork lunch, great atmosphere, amazing value for money!

Just eaten the most delicious sunday roast!!! This was a small dinner! The beef was really tender very melt in the mouth, the mash was buttery, the veg was fresh and the gravy was gorgeous 😍. The new management are warm and welcoming and the staff friendly. Would highly recommend 👌

Ordered a delivery a hour later we were still waiting phoned the shop to be told that our delivery was still there and I had to collect as they couldn't deliver when we got the food the puddings were dried up and un,eadable so thrown away make sure that there able to deliver before placing a order

Meal was nice ,took over half an hour to come seemed more interested in making take out meals

Firstly one of my vegetarian breakfast was missing , secondly this is how the other one came no beans no tomatoes as you can see doesn’t look tatsty at all , the baguette I’ve ordered wasn’t even a baguette it was a large cob , I wouldn’t recommend this place nor will I ever be ordering again

came here for sunday dinner i just could not eat it all as was loads cooked realy nice even gave me box to take some chicken home for cats . lovely staff very quick and helpful .i will be back to try breakfast

Gone downhill Thursday is definitely a day to avoid staff haven't got a clue. One of the older women thinks she is better than the rest she is dripping in jewellery and don't even wear a uniform None of them tie their hair up and the owner don't care and as for the toilets I'd rather wet myself

We ordered roast beef dinners on Sunday, not ordered from here before and was amazed at the portion sizes, certainly beat us. Food was delivered piping hot and on time. Would most definately recommend and will be ordering again. The dinner itself reminded me of my Mamas cooking 😊

The staff were quite rude, speaking to other customers (obviously regulars) while serving me. Hence why I rated their customer service 1 star. My food arrived, but my daughters didn't until I'd finished mine, so the timing was off. The food is good, and very good value for money. It's just a shame that their customer service let them down. If you're a regular I'm sure it would be a different rating. But as a new customer 1star

Visited Cafe Ameila for the first time today since restrictions eased. Was very disappointed and felt very uneasy. Didn't see any member of staff attempt to clean down tables or chairs after customers left. The whole cafe felt unsafe- there was a very unpleasant smell lingering in the air the whole time we were there which was very off putting. Won't be visiting again any time soon - sorry

Food was served quickly and was yummy

After coming to this establishment thinking it would be a cute and yummy eating area i was 100% wrong. The cafe was dirty, food took forever to come out and to make matters worse, the owner/manager has no moral values. Respecting pronouns is human decency and even if one does not agree with certain pronouns calling someone by the desired he/him she/her IS NOT HARD. It comes across as transphobic and being transphobic while running a nasty and overall sh!t establishment is not good. You might as well throw the towel in and shut down. (Hopefully you’ll get payments to your employees on time this time around.)

Ordered two "mega breakfast" meals. Waited 2.5 hours for delivery and even tried to cancel it after waiting 2 hours as I had to leave for work. They wouldn't let me cancel it and upon arrival, there were no mushrooms, beans, or tomatoes in one of the dishes, and only one piece of toast instead of one each. The latte and cappuccino weren't labelled so we couldn't determine which was which, but they were just wrapped in tin foil so had spilled all over the place anyway. The food we did receive was good, but with so much missing and such a ridiculously long wait, I would never order again.

Disgustingly unclean, rude manager (who is seemingly transphobic), just overall bad, do not recommend, please find somewhere else that is worth your time and money.

Ordered food for a family meal and only half of the order came so had to reorder and wait another 30 minutes and when that arrived the chips were missing this has spoilt our family get together after months in lockdown really disappointed in cafe Amelia who's food to be honest is excellent but the service has got to be better and check the orders before they go out

Me and my husband go to this cafe every week its lovely hot food and plenty of it. The Sunday roast are amazing and the breakfast is better than any pub beautiful. Would recommend it to anyone

Absolutely fantastic place to go for a cuppa or to eat, staff are super friendly and always go above and beyond tto make you feel welcome. I take my son there and they really do make it a great experience for him, so much so that he calls them Cafe Extraordinary as he likes it so much.
