We called here just as they were finishing lunch service and although there was only 15 minutes to go before they closed we were warmly invited in and made to feel very welcome. The setting is first class and a great soundtrack made the whole ambiance brilliant. We shared a meat platter as a starter and then a couple of dishes for our main…gnocchi and an aubergine baked, all of which was excellent. Service was outstanding and given where we were the price was extremely reasonable! Highly recommended. A big shout out to Sam and Riva

Had high expectations. But was let down. Nice Italian environment. But Erica was haughty. The write up about her on their website is a woman who is passionate about her food and everything. I expect all Italians do. But sadly, this was missing during my visit. She sashayed around and did not appear interested in you. A confident woman no doubt, but I am not sure whether it works when you need to establish a relationship with your customers. Especially when your restaurant is not ‘way up there’. Anyway. Her choice. The food is ok. Not surprising good or bad. In fact, the octopus appetiser is a let down. Four slivers of fried octopus on a huge bed of mashed potatoes. Not impressive. I will take that out of the menu until they can do a proper chunk of octopus. The fish is ok. But the fish head has a strange smell (as no olives masked the smell of the head). The pasta is good. In fact, most tables ordered the pasta. I should have just sticked with that. 3 stars out of 5. One point five for Erica’s handling of her customers (no warmth, very Italian take it or leave it). 4 for the server’s (did not get her name. Around 1.6m tall with a ponytail) presence or mind. Zero for the octopus. Three for the fish (more if the fish head has no smell). And four for the pasta. Not exciting for me. But you decide.

The service was perfect. They were attentive and helpful. The range in flavors in the dishes we got, was great. Great fish and all of our pasta was perfect. Yummy breads and olive oil to start with. My wife and son couldn’t stop talking about how good it was.

We visited late after we could not make the time of our booking. We were welcomed like list travellers and the hospitality turned out to be excellent. Staff were attentive and engaging. The real strength of the restaurant is the food on offer. Extremely tasty and well presented. This restaurant must be one of the top Italian restaurants in London.

The worst food I have eaten. I ordered a Mozzarella served with asparagus, cherry tomatoes, orange and crispy ham salad £16. What I was served was a bland buttata floating in oil with basil. A slither of ham and asparagus. See picture. Very disappointed

We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and had a perfect couple of of hours from the warm greeting through to our final spoon of dessert. The food was interesting and excellent. Generous seared crab for me and burrata for S were both very strong. My main of Beetroot Risotto was lovely. Finishing off with a very authentic Tiramisu. Our Sicillian wine was recommended and a very good choice and we welcomed the chance to taste the recommended Chianti. Service was attentive and relaxed. If you find yourself in Pimlico or anywhere around Victoria you should seek this place out.

Very bad experience. The food was very bad , cold and the service was pathetic . The female manager of the restaurant was continuously screaming at her staff, was very rude and was continuously banging the kitchen door with aggression and anger. It was such a unpleasant experience. We went with our 2 kids for dinner to have a nice meal in London but landed up so upset and disappointed. One of the worst experiences!

The overall experience was terrible! I haven’t experienced such bad service in my whole life. The lady manager needs to be fired! We are staying in Pimlico for the London leg of our vacation, and we’ve eaten at Cacio e Pepe twice in the past three nights, ordering different things for each meal. The food is uniformly superb, equalling anything that we’ve ever had in our many trips to Italy. The service is attentive, friendly, and efficient. Hemos estado yendo a Cacio e Pepe desde que abrió y hemos encontrado el estándar excelente, la comida sabrosa y bien servida, el servicio amable, el vino justo a nuestro gusto. Es un restaurante por encima de los demás y bien vale la pena pagar los precios extra. En mi opinión, es el mejor restaurante de esta zona.

Non vado spesso nei ristoranti italiani all'estero, ma questo merita davvero. Ambiente raffinato, ma accoglienza familiare. Piatti di qualità, sia carne che pesce, e ovviamente uno speciale cacio e pepe! Portate non esagerate così si arriva anche al tiramisù fatto in casa. E' a due passi da Victoria Station quindi in pieno centro.

Italian establishment with waitrons from Italy so very authentic. Very good wine selection. I think the waitrons are so professional they border on cold. Well, not breakfast / lunch / dinner, nor three dinners in three consecutive nights - I've had dinner here three times in the past four months and only now getting my act together to review.It's local to where I live and where I work - and my favourite place for a special meal with friends and colleagues. Service is always attentive and the food is nothing short of divine. Have only sat downstairs, so my 2020 excuse will be I need to go back and see what it's like eating upstairs ;)The cheese and meats platter is perfect to nibble at with a glass of wine whilst you wait for friends to arrive....just make sure your polish it off and have the plate taken away before they arrive, so you can still order a starter without your dining companions thinking you're greedy!

I took my daughter here to celebrate her 24th birthday. We ate upstairs at a table though could also have sat at the bar. There is a dining room downstairs but we didn't explore so no idea what it's like.

I had the Sea Bass with Spinach & Asparagus. It was so good. My sister ordered the chicken wrapped in Parma Ham over mashed potato. The food was very good. Excellent service. Lovely ambiance. I wish we had one more night to try the Cacio Pepe pasta. We saw others eating it and wished we didn't have so much and could have ordered it.

Locale ok: essenziale, tavoli fuori carini con atmosfera raccolta. Una parmigiana smezzata con parmigiano rancido, fatto notare alla cameriera, spiegando che comunque nel complesso era "buona". La cameriera mi ha risposto che loro il parmigiano lo mettono sopra. Ok. Cacio e pepe buoni per stare a Londra, un po' secchi, cestino di formaggio non approvato. Pasta con le vongole che forse piace agli inglesi (ancora secca, senz'anima ma col pesto). Prezzi non bassi. Forse le aspettative erano eccessive, anche sulla base delle ottime recensioni!

Hemos visitado regularmente Cacio y Pepe y normalmente lo calificamos como un italiano local confiable y de calidad. Esta visita no estuvo a la altura de los altos estándares habituales. Los entrantes fueron encantadores, una ensalada de cangrejo súper fresca, una rica y sabrosa parmesana de berenjena y una suave y cremosa sopa de cebolla y papa. Los platos de pasta, normalmente tan deliciosos, eran bastante decepcionantes, la pasta era muy espesa y pastosa y estaba muy poco hecha, dura en lugar de al dente. Las salsas eran pesadas, las delicadas almejas perdían la fuerza de la salsa, a la boloñesa le faltaba sabor y sobre todo solo una salsa de tomate suave. En el lado positivo, la panna cotta era excelente. Volveremos a visitar ya que este es uno de los favoritos y esperamos que esta caída en los estándares haya sido única.

Siamo venuti su consiglio della Reception del nostro hotel. Che dire, se l’unica cosa che manca a Londra è il buon cibo italiano, beh con questo ristorante ora è completa. Semplicemente meraviglioso. Servizio impeccabile e piatti fantastici. Se come noi amate la buona cucina e vi sentite lontani dal nostro paese. Andateci non ve ne pentirete. Consiglio la cacio e pepe semplicemente gustosa e perfetta.

Todos hablaban italiano, la pasta era casera, los especiales interesantes. . . que almuerzo largo y encantador en un viernes que fue. Debe probar el tagliotoni (?) Hecho al estilo Cacio & Pepe, en un tazón de parmesano crujiente. Oh mi.

First time for me in this nice spot, very close to Victoria Station. Menu has a good offer and you can find different dishes that respect the Italian tradition with the touch of the chef. I found the restaurant cozy and welcoming, service was standard and food great. I was not impressed by the dessert, however I would definitely go back for the Tagliolini Cacio e Pepe, which I loved!
