I ordered a Tuna salad with chips. This appeared to be a problem even though it was on the menu, the till operator insisted it be in a sandwich, bap or baguette, with frustration my husband said baguette. When it arrived the salad content consisted of a few bits of sweet corn and a few bits of cucumber, that was the salad content. Loads of tuna in far too much mayonnaise. I ordered for myself a cheese and onion toasty, with side salad and a separate potion of chips to share. It all arrived on one plate. I am sure I had an entire red onion there was so much of it and the toasty had only been very, very lightly toasted on one slice of bread the other slice was untoasted, the cheese was tasteless and it was stuffed with loads of raw onion. Chips were all on my plate not in a to share pot and the side salad with my meal consisted of a stack of chopped cucumber 7 slices on top of each other, piles of raw onion a little bit of lettuce and a small piece tomato. The standard and presentation of the food fell well below the standard they had in the past. We had visited last month and felt the food wasn't up to their usual standard but thought it was an off day. Today proved to us definitely something is wrong. It's a shame because this used to be a very good cafe
