Lovely chippy, always excellent food and service. Dog friendly and they got great service too, given water and a bowl of biscuits and treats.

Two re heated rock hard dry plaice. Could not eat them. Very below average. Staff friendly at least. Bits of the order forgotten.

Ate at C Fresh October 23, all had Cod & chips, have to say it was superb! Very fresh chunky chips with a very large battered cod that wasn’t greasy at all & no big fatty lumps of batter. Buttered bread & either curry, gravy, beans peas or coleslaw to choose from as a side. Reasonably priced too, was really impressed, all food was piping hot & delicious. 10/10 will definitely return.

It was a windy and wet day , avoiding us to enjoy proper the shore , as we were starving and reading some reviews, we decide to come here . Nice, clean, cosy, Hailey ( hope I write her name correctly) was so noce and kind! Amazing staff! The Moby dick is a beauty! Prices are reasonable and it i not noisy! Really nice stop to eat!

Went here on the off chance today with my partner for fish and chips and to be honest it was really nice the fish was fresh and not thick with batter the only thing I would say is the chips were not that fresh and the table needed a clean but all in all it was nice

Used to be one of the best chip shops in Blackpool now terrible . chips were dry hard re heated fish was small and tasteless mushy peas the worst I have tasted won’t be back 😞😞

Always used to go here, now they have stopped discounts for locals and oaps or any other discounts. Over 20 years of loyalty and COL crisis so found ourselves in an embarrassing position just last night having watched the fireworks. Not been as good just lately so bye bye c fresh Blackpool, many more in the area just as good and better priced.

This place used to be brilliant. Today wasn't good small fish was just batte, regular fish undercooked and the chips seemed like they had been reheated. Had been going here for years although the staff were good the food is disappointing

Bought 6 fish and chips and 6 sides to take out but nobody really enjoyed them fish was quite poor and they where quite small portions was really looking forward to these had read some good reviews

Omg.....I'd been recommended to visit here by a dog friendly hotel and guests within the hotel. Welcoming atmosphere! Clean, plenty of space to sit and other dogs inside this Restaurant. Me and my pooch were made most welcome 😃 I ordered the small fish and chips, absolutely delicious!!! Beautiful white cod with delicious light, crunchy battery. Mushy peas are homemade. My only regret was not ordering the standard fish as I wanted more! My pooch was spoiled with her own doggy dinner which she devoured! Customer service excellent! Price is very reasonable and atmosphere speaks for itself. Wonderful to find a dog friendly fish and chips restaurant that serves delicious food at a good private. I'll definitely be back!!!

Visited today, did zero research but wanted a place to sit outside so tried this place based purely on seating. We ordered a meal offer with fish, chips, sauce & bread and butter 8.50 reg or 6.50 small. Partner ordered a small as has previously had bad experiences with chippies in Blackpool but ended up eating ours too, was lovely, fresh and tasty. The customer service is my main reason for reviewing and I was seriously impressed, it’s been a while! The whole team were efficient, polite and it felt genuine that they wanted you to enjoy, best customer service in a long time!

Came after seeing other reviews...wasn't disappointed.. Freshly cooked fish and chips and a side of gravy for a fiver (takeaway).just the right sized portion. Sat on the beach to eat. Lovely friendly staff...worth the walk off the front. Will def return

Very accommodating, my husband had throat cancer , and needs to have plenty gravy , they brought more out no problem and said need any more then let them know , this place is very highly recommended, this is the place we know that we can come and eat , it’s great and good priced Well done

This is the second time I've visited C fresh and unfortunately both times the chips have been really hard and stale. I decided to go on the second visit just incase it was a one off but apparently that's just how they seem to do their chips. Not great at all I might as well chew on a piece of cardboard.

We come here for tea whenever we visit Blackpool. It's an eat in or take away chippy. Staff are really friendly and good service. Food is delicious. The only reason we have given it a 4 this time and not a 5 is because the fish wasn't as good (too much batter) as it has been on previous visits. Chips are the best from here.

Been coming here since I was 9 years old, can honestly say it serves the best fish and chips in the whole of Blackpool. I would 100% recommend going here, you honestly can not fault the place. The only reason I’m giving it 4* is because the staff are very loud whilst you are eating and not that polite. That’s the only thing that’s changed I think, considering I’ve been coming here for around 13 years every time I’m in Blackpool.

This place is fabulous! We ate in, take away available, always busy, which is always a good sign! Ordered the large special (haddock, chips and peas with bread and butter and a drink) which is an absolute bargain. Although it isn't listed on the restaurant menu, I noticed by chance that they sell battered haggis so ordered one and it was absolutely beautiful. We were offered a free top up on our chips but there was definitely no need for that, absolutely full to bursting! Will certainly have the haggis next time if I manage to avoid the special. Wouldn't dream of trying any other chippy in Blackpool after so many successful visits here.

Lovely food....only a small place 3 tables.the lady working there was on her own so a rushed off her feet but made sure everyone got served promptly.pity the owner doesn't enjoy more staff as the girl didn't get chance the sweep the floor of chips which had been dropped until she had a quiet minute.the girl was quitting that night and I can see why she didn't have a second to spare.

I am not usually a chippy lover but as myself and my partner had come to Blackpool for a few days break we had seen the chippy when we had come a couple of months ago when coming to visit the lights but it was busy then. My partner wanted to try this chippy and with it being mid afternoon he wanted to try it so we went in and was served quickly. Everything was spotless which is a bonus and when the food arrived which I ordered chips and curry and my partner ordered the same but with peas and a couple of slice of bread and butter. We couldn’t fault the portion sizes. As I said I am not a chip lover and never finish then off when I do get then but I certainly did on this occasion as they was very good and so was the curry sauce. Would certainly go back again and the prices was good as well. Can certainly recommend!

Went here for tea, there were 5 of us, it was very very busy, we had to queue for a table, but school holidays so expected it to be busy. The staff very nice, meal arrived promptly, but wasn't very hot. The prices are very good.

We had one standard fish & chip meal and one OAP special which was a bit smaller. Both very good. The price is incredibly cheap- 2 good sized meals and 2 drinks for about £13- amazing.

The staff at C Fresh went above and beyond to make us feel special and welcome . Checking back on us regular and apologising if other customers where being too loud (which they weren’t) . Food was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it . Thanks it was a pleasure

I’m usually a bit disappointed with chippies as I can’t fit much of a meal in, in one go. So normally I have to put up with just a chip buttie or terrible food wasteage. Not here.

You all ways know a good place by the amount of people in it! This place ticked the box. Quick service, large portions, fresh food, cheap, clean and friendly staff.

We were staying nearby and as it was chucking it down wanted somewhere close by to eat. What a lovely chippy this is - we sat inside and ate due to the weather and the lady let us take the dog in if we sat by the door. It was all freshly cooked, came with bread and butter and a decent cup of tea. It was refreshing to see and we were made welcome.

Located just off the front, this is an easy to find ' Fish & Chips ' dine in or takeaway. Very central along the promenade, and very clean. Good choice menu, very reasonable prices, order & pay, then it's quickly served to your table. We had the Haddock & Chips, perfect sized portions, and it was delicious, really white fresh fish, lightly battered, very tasty! Will certainly visit again, and well recommended.

I always go here every single time I come to Blackpool, both to eat in and take out any time of the year. I stick to small f&c; as the normal f&c; looks big, plus the butties are very fresh and spongy to eat. Eat in or eat in your car along the front parked up. Used to be called Ketchup, now C Fresh. Highly recommended.

We sat outside as we had our dogs with us. Service was excellent, it was quiet so they said they would bring the food out. It arrived hot, portion size good and chips weren't greasy. Excellent! We really did enjoy the meal.

Called in late afternoon for the special. 4.95 for small fish, chips, side, bread and butter plus hot or cold drink. The food was cooked fresh after we ordered and cooked to perfection. Very hot but superb. Nothing soggy at all. We will go again when visiting Blackpool. Highly recommend.

In town for the day for a football match, I started to walk towards the promenade searching for a chip shop and came across ‘C Fresh” quite close to the ground. Everything that a traditional shop should be , counter takeaway service and cafe seating in the rear. Friendly, efficient staff, great fish and chips and peas well mushed. Recommended for any visitor, or indeed resident and clearly very popular.

Wanted to do fish and chips one night of our break and after reading lots of negative feedback of harry ramsden in Blackpool and after seeing prices and the fact it was always empty decided to try c fresh.family of four cost under £25 with drinks.superbly cooked fish, chips were fresh with not an ounce of oil on them .more of a canteen style seating area but who cares with food this good .a credit to all the staff.dont waste your money at harry ramsden when fish and chips are this good .superb.

This is by far the best fish and chip shop in Blackpool. The decor is modern and everything is clean and well presented. The food is really reasonable and excellent quality. The fish is really fresh. Yes the chip portions aren’t huge to avoid wastage but there is a clear sign on the wall which says if you’d like more chips just ask.

Ordered large chips and sausage , must of miss heard the portion of chips was so small, we also live in Blackpool so not a holiday maker, since then have not used or recommended this place to friends or holiday makers, dont rip people off with small portions.

love going in here . Food is so tastier. the chip s are great and you can get more chips for free if you want. Moby dick is great and it's big . chicken breast is lovely and it's enough to eat with chips. plus you get a salad on the side. people that work in there are friendly and helpful and always say hello. we have been going in there for many years now and will be going again in August this year. kids are welcome in here and have menus for kids as well . tables are clean and always cleaned once the customers have left. the only thing I don't like is the toilets . they are down stairs and small no where to change babies . so if in blackpool pop in and see for yourself .

Must be in to double figures for how many times I’ve been here and every single time I’ve always got the special - finally got brave and had the small portion of homemade steak pie with chips, peas and gravy. Only a small slice of pie which was perfect for me at the time and tasted great - still a very generous portion of chips so more than enough to eat, especially with the obligatory bread and butter! It was extremely busy because of a rugby game at Bloomfield Road but we managed to pinch a table easily enough and the food arrived quickly, hot and fresh as ever.

The batter was crisp and fresh and the fish was as white as snow. If we go to Blackpool again we will definitely pay them another visit.

We arrived in Blackpool late afternoon, and after a long journey, we decided we'd like some Fish and Chips! I mean, you can't go wrong, can you? We were staying just around the corner from this place and we weren't disappointed! Portions were very generous for the price and the chips were lovely and chunky, we'll definitely return if we're ever to come back to Blackpool in the future.

Went here on a Saturday evening, excellent chippy, delicious food, good portions, reasonable prices. What more could you want? The only negative is the toilets are down a steep set of stairs.

Very glad to find somewhere open on a Sunday evening as our hotel has stopped serving meals by 7.15 p.m.. Lovely meal, with helpful, friendly service (not licensed).

I called in on the way back from looking at the illuminations with my baby girl. She was in her trolly which wasnt a problem as there is a ramp up to the door. Service was fast, friendly and the lads that served me were very polite. the food was fantastic and my little girl really enjoyed her chips :) Definatley plan on visiting again n my next Blackpool visit
