When we visit Cambridge we always eat at Byrons. The service is good especially now that we don't have to order on the App. Food always arrives promptly and the burgers are the best around. If you've never visited Byrons in Cambridge I recommend you do so next time your there. You won't be disappointed

The food was lovely; the chicken burger is literally the best I’ve had. I had the cluck. The waiters are super helpful, especially Marco. We’ve been here a couple of times and he’s always greeted us with a smile and a cheerful manner. A*** service and I would recommend going to this restaurant.

Over rated, just like most places these days Really small burgers could fit in palm of hand hahaha for £16 !! Nice taste but not worth the money that’s nearly 2 hours of work for some people. And Only a Handful of chips which don’t come with burger for an extra £3.60 Over £40 Just sad everywhere now about the money and not the quality

The burgers are good, and milkshakes are top tier, but sometimes I don’t want to fork out for a milkshake in my meal deal and it’s really frustrating that they only have Sprite ZERO instead of normal Sprite.. I end up just not ordering and eating elsewhere because of it

The food was great and the service from Mario was excellent. A little lacking in atmosphere as it was early and mid-week, so it was quiet, I’m sure it would improve at busier times. We would certainly go again.

Still banging out a great burger. I miss the specials yet they still deliver the classics very well. The milkshakes are the bomb. My girls adrore the Mac n Cheese - you can share one between two with some fries and a shake.

If you’re craving a burger that goes beyond the basics, Byron is where you want to be. This spot doesn’t just serve burgers—it celebrates them. From the moment you walk in, the smell of sizzling patties and fresh-cut fries pulls you in, and the relaxed vibe makes you feel right at home. I ordered the Classic Cheeseburger with a side of their house fries and tots, and it did not disappoint. The beef patty was perfectly juicy, and cooked with just the right amount of char. The bun was soft yet held up well, even with all the toppings—a true test of a quality burger. The toppings were fresh, with crisp lettuce, thick-cut tomato, and a tangy house sauce that elevated the whole experience.

Burgers and fries were super good. If you want to order chicken wings then I would advise against the Byron sauce. I personally didn't like it. But everyone has to see it differently. Service was very good. They come up to you a few times and ask if you want anything else. The atmosphere was also really good. Very nicely decorated and very comfortable seats.

They keep forgetting the chips and don’t pack with any insulation so it usually arrives cold. I’d suggest not getting it delivered from here.

The Dirty Byron was outstanding! I coupled it with some excellent sweet potato fires for a perfectly portioned and fully delicious lunch. My server, Mario (from Sicily) was outstanding. The environment was comfortable, the service top-notch, the food delivered quickly and hot. They also ask about any allergies before you order so there are no surprises. All around, excellent, and very near Cambridge University.

Clean and modern with comfortable booths, a good range of burgers on the menu with a decent alcohol selection. Staff was friendly and helpful, the food was good but can be a bit overcomplicated so some of the flavours get lost, but overall decent place to get some lunch or dinner.

Fantastic burger and insanely good brownie for dessert... Possibly the best I have ever tasted! Mario was our waiter and he was extra friendly and equally as funny and his recommendations were spot on!!!

On a day out in Cambridge decided to try Byron’s. Fab meals , great service best of all 2 for 1 in burgers. Happy to recommend. Will be visiting again.

We wanted a snack and we were tempted by the offer of buy one burger and get a second free. The food was great and the service was fine. However i was surprised to be charged a service charge. This is 10% but this was 10% before the cost of the free burger was taken off the price, so in reality the service charge is 15% of the bill. Technically it is discretionary but they add this charge to the bill first and then you have to ask for it to taken off the bill. This is cheeky!! For that reason in the future i will go elsewhere.

Ordered Deliveroo totally inedible. Beyond burnt. All the chicken went in the bin. Contacted Deliveroo they said they would come back to us! Called the restaurant in Cambridge goes to BT call minder. No dinner tonight for kids thank you Byron’s!!!

Small Portions The portions are very small. I think it's the smallest among all of the Cambridge burger restaurants. The burger meat is very lean. Both the burgers and sides were not as hot as ED Diner and Smokeworks. Just slightly hotter than Honest Burgers. The price is not cheap in terms of potion size. The portions are so small that male adults may still be hungry afterwards. The restaurant was busy, but the environment and the toilets are still clean and tidy. The staff did a good job in maintaining the environment, even though during the rush hour of weekend. If you are lean meat lovers or weight cautious, this restaurant will tick all of your boxes.

I recently had a meal at a Byron where the service and food stood out. Mario, our server, was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience comfortable. The food was tasty, with a nice variety of flavors that appealed to our group. Everything was well-prepared and satisfying. Overall, we had a good time and would recommend checking it out, especially if you want decent service and enjoyable food.

Billboards outside are misleading! Advertising 2 for 1 proper burgers all day Monday and Tuesday. When we went to place order in restaurant waiter said this offer only applied if we ordered online. He couldn't explain why so we left restaurant after I told him his street board was very misleading.

The food was Awful I had to request that my chicken burger go back and another one get sent out it was so tough!!! The new one came out just as bad The Onion rings were so greasy none of us wanted them !!! sweet potato fries were awful just not a good meal at all what a waste of money ... This is without a doubt the worst Byron restaurant we have ever been into before sadly .

Nice burgers. Nice salad. Sweet potato fries were warm. Problem with service is we had to pay before we had the food. 12.5% service charge was added - before we had really experienced it. I think that is unethical. Also - had the vegan burger. It was smaller than the normal burger - and cost £1 more. @Byron please explain these two unethical practices!

The vegan chicken burger is really good. During lunch they have a good deal with main and a side.

Filthy bathrooms (male & female). Dirty nappies on the floor, treacherous disgusting greasy floors between restaurant & bathroom. No wonder they make you pay in advance when you order. Empty restaurant & we waited 30 minutes for our 'food'. And what was delivered was less than mediocre. Used to be a reasonable place. Now truly awful. Have many times enjoyed Byron as reliable but after this experience will never go there again.

We used to visit here every time we were in Cambridge because the medium cooked burgers were so good. They've changed recently and all burgers come out well done - no choice anymore. Not sure if they've been made to do that for some reason but it's just not the same. Byron - if you have any control over this, please go back to the old burgers!

Such a shame. The burger quality has dropped massively. We have been coming here for 8 years now and always looked forward to the burgers. This time, we did not like it at all. When ordering, the waiter didn't ask how we want the meat cooked which is an indication that the meat might be frozen. When we mentioned it, he said they changed provider and the provider recommends cooking the burgers to well done. When the burger arrived, it was the saddest plate I have seen in a long time. They did not just change meat provider, they also changed the bun. It was horrible. I am sorry to say, but the burger is not edible. We chose the cheese burger.
