Known for their burgers, I noticed the buffalo wings and chicken tenders.The helpful waitress confirmed that they were worth it and if I liked a little spice; they were great choices. Both were delicious and the IPA was from the tap. All in for 20 quid. How can you beat that? Stop in if you want better than fast food but aren’t in the mood for fine dining.

Byron never misses. Some of the best burgers, sides and massive, thick milkshakes. Added bonus is no nut (peanot butter or something) shake. So allergy friendly. Also huge range of funny sauces which I really like. Cute interior, lot of seating and have both benches and tables. Service was very mixed. There was a moody girl that didnt even give us a smile. But another guy who took our order was very chirpy and triple checked our order to make sure he got it right. Big service charge. We took it off and they were NOT happy about it. If the staff was nicer maybe would have paid. Apart from that, prices are good for the quality of food. I think the burgers have gotten a bit smaller but it was still enough.

Food was really great, served quickly. Mario was our server and he gave us really friendly service and made sure we had everything we needed. I've been in here a couple of times before and it has always been good. A consistently good food option in the city centre.

The place is very nice and clean, with a nice view to St John’s. I had the Dirty Byron with fries and it was amazing. Outstanding service, specially from Mario, who was very welcoming and made us feel at home since our arrival.

A special shoutout to Mario, who provided outstanding service. Specially with my diet requirements. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect for us. It’s rare to find such great customer care, and he truly made our visit even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fantastic burger and top-notch service. We’ve been coming here for over 2 years now. It’s the best burger in the UK- coming from someone who has lived in several areas of the US. We are always happy to have Mario as our server, he is friendly and has a great sense of humour. Highly recommend the Smokey and the Classic Byron burger.

The burgers are the best in town! Service was amazing, Mario and Eduardo were super nice and helpful. The restaurant is super clean and has plenty of space. Definitely will be back!

All servers were very accommodating and inviting. Particularly Jaimin, he’s such a sassy guy. Would heavily recommend to anyone in the area who’s looking for some good food!

Interesting and tasty burgers and generous portions compared to other places. All the staff are lovely, especially Mario who has served us a number of times.

The early 2000s music, and not the good kind blaring made it not the best atmosphere -people were wearing noise cancelling headphones because of it. Despite it being lunchtime, and the lunchtime menu being significantly cheaper they gave the far more expensive dinner menu it was only because I grabbed the lunch menus did we get served lunchtime prices. They also lay cutlery for the table next to us, but not for us, so we had to grab the empty tables cutlery which was mildly annoying. The burgers were excellent however - no faults. The atmosphere resulted in an environment not the best for a restaurant- lunchtime burgers are worth it - if you have noise cancelling headphones.

Visited yesterday and ordered a Classic chicken burger with Onion rings, the food was great and the service by Jaimin was excellent.

I have been to Byron more times than I can possibly count. The food is incredible, the service is lighting fast but the best thing about Byron? THE STAFF! So friendly and helpful. They work so hard. Special shoutout to Mario who brightens everyone’s day. WE LOVE BYRON. GIVE ME THOSE JUICY BURGERS!

Good food and charming waiter, the seating is really uncomfortable and there isn’t too much space between yourself and fellow diners, would benefit from a refurb and turning the music down slightly. It’s a lively pub-like environment, enjoyable for some but for me I give it a pass.

We popped in for lunch and it was excellent - we were seated quickly and enjoyed great service by Mario (he’s a credit to the team!) and delicious food. Not cheap, but quality costs these days.

Really good burgers - prices of their lunch deals are pretty fair and service is fast, makes it easy to get a quick good lunch. Their onion rings are some of the best in Cambridge with a good portion size Staff are incredibly friendly - always happy to see them again each time! I was served by Mario and with this being my first time here, i was so suprised! The food was amazing, I had the chicken tenders and dirty fries - these are a must! Warm, cosy environment and all staff are friendly. Full of smiles. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended. Thanks again Mario :)

I recently visited Byron in Cambridge with my family. The burgers were tasty, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff even gave crayons to the kids, which was a nice touch. However, our experience took a disappointing turn when it came time to pay the bill. Our meal cost £46, and I wanted to pay with a £50 note. To my surprise, the staff informed me they do not accept £50 notes. I would have been perfectly fine with this if there had been any clear signage or notice indicating this policy, but there wasn't. Instead, they insisted I leave the restaurant to break the note elsewhere. I disagreed with this request, but they were firm. The staff member who called the manager seemed uncomfortable with the situation, but the manager was inflexible and refused to accept the £50 note. In the end, I was forced to pay by card, which was inconvenient for me. Overall, while the food and atmosphere were great, the payment policy and customer service regarding this issue left a bad impression. A simple sign about their cash policy would have avoided this whole situation.

The atmosphere was great. Mario, our server, was super welcoming. The manager was also really nice. We were a party of 15 and the food came out quickly. It was really good!
