Butterfly cafe in Bromley

We used to live 30 seconds away and always said the parade of shops needed a cafe. If we still lived in the area, we’d be in here all the time. I had the smash avocado toast with a twist and my wife had a set breakfast with a few changes. Cooked really well and the bill was very reasonable. Coffee was also really good. Spotlessly clean and the air-con means you don’t leave smelling like fried food. Despite now living 20mins away with cafes near us, we’ll be back here to support this great new little cafe.

Pleasantly surprised to return from Jamaica and discover this nice cafe in St Paul's Cray serving authentic ackee and saltfish. We really enjoyed our brunch so thank you.

Sunday dinner was excellent , the second time for me, I will be back next Sunday for sure. Roast beef this time, perfect, last week it was chicken also perfectly cooked,

GREAT restaurant Butterfly Cafe is a great family run restaurant and also have a great selection of food including English and Caribbean cuisine. The food was outstanding and the owner,chefs and other staff were so friendly and helpful Definitely would revisit and bring my kids in thank you xx

I stopped by last week as an after-school treat for the kids. The place is spotless, cosy and beautifully decorated. The owner was friendly and engaging making us all feel so welcome. The menu offers an eclectic mix of British, American and Caribbean classics. The kids had pancakes - the thickest, fluffiest, tastiest pancakes ever. The kids have been harassing me to go back for pancakes ever since 😊 Also, the milkshakes are just off-the-charts good. I'd love to keep this place my secret but honestly I have to give credit where due. This place is a true hidden gem.

I came here for lunch with my daughter a few weeks ago and we were both blown away. The staff were very courteous and welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice, calming ambience to it. The menu itself is quite extensive with an interesting range of British/Caribbean options. My daughter had a burger and sweet potato fries. She said that was the best burger ever and the fries were absolutely tasty, almost addictive!! Her oreo milkshake was to die for! My meal of jerk chicken thighs, with chips and coleslaw was just amazing and flavoursome; chips were cooked to perfection and the slaw was the best! I couldn't resist ordering a takeaway strawberry milkshake which I couldn't fault! Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. We shall definitely be back. Highly, highly recommend Butterfly cafe! A true hidden gem in Orpington!

I went with my daughter and granddaughter for an afternoon treat. The cafe is very comfortable decorated in a beautiful and relaxing style. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. My granddaughter had American pancakes with strawberries and nuttella with an Oreo milkshake. Both looked and tasted amazing and when my granddaughter couldn’t finish the large portion the remainder was put carefully in a take away container. Even the crockery was stylish and good to use. The menu was extensive with interesting dishes and I am looking forward to going back to try some. It’s good having this so close to where I live but would be worth travelling to.

I went there the day after it opened and the service was very friendly. I was over the moon looking at the menu to find Caribbean food on the menu as well as British favourites. We had the jerk chicken and chips and a fried breakfast which both came out looking amazing and tasted even better. Will definitely be revisiting them and am so happy it’s my local cafe. They also do Caribbean Sunday which I’m looking forward to
