Fantastic find. Lovely food and staff. Thankyou for accommodating our large party at such short notice.

We had passed the Burrow Munch many times and we were always amused by the name. We decided to stop one lunch time for a bite to eat. We were pleasantly surprised, the staff were friendly and the food was lovely (we recommend the ploughman's) and really well priced. Well recommended.

Friendly staff,good food,great bread pudding will be calling in again on the way to Glastonbury Plus it's a lovely drive over Sedgemoor .

Phoned thru a milkshake order on our way home from the beach, we were only a few minutes away & they were ready for us as I arrived. Excellent & friendly service and oh my days, the milkshakes were delicious. I had the mint choc chip, absolutely divine as was the snickers & the boys had Oreo ones which they devoured. Will definitely return to try more flavours.

Really lovely place to eat. Great menu, lots of choice. Food was all fresh cooked and big portions! We were a family of me, my daughter, 17, 5 and 2 year old grandkids. The interior is cosy, bright and welcoming. Service was great, friendly, speedy. We had a range of foods - toasted sandwiches and my panini came with a really tasty big side salad. My grandson thoroughly enjoyed his pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. I ordered cheesy chips for the 2 year old (and to dip in on our sandwiches/salads) and there was enough for ALL of us! I'd also ordered chips for the rest of us to share and that was a huge portion too - proper chips too! There were high chairs, baby change loo and another, both spotless. Can't fault it and will definitely return. It made more of a treat of lunch on our way home from the park. Highly recommend!

Popped down to Burrow Munch with my son and his wife and, as usual, had a coffee and lovely cake. The staff are always very pleasant and welcoming and we were served quickly. My son and I had a jammie dodger cupcake which was delicious and the icing was just right - not sickly at all.

Doesn't look much from the outside. Stopped for breakfast after checking out of our holiday home. My word, what a great breakfast, I had the large Full English which came with a coffee or tea for a quid. The girls had smashed avocado on toast. Everything was great. Great service too. Amazing place to have breakfast and coffee with great GF options. The staff are very friendly and adaptable with our dietary requirements- vegan and GF. The cakes are incredible and the whole place is really well priced. Only feedback- there could be another vegan option on the menu which could be solved by bringing back the vegan bacon- we miss our BLTs as they were fantastic! Thanks for such lovely food and service.

I was recommended this place by a close friend, so I decided to pop in as I was passing and I was pleasantly surprised with the choice of cakes and their portion size. I decided to indulge myself with the bread pudding which was moist ,tasty and very filling. I will definitely return again to sample the other items on the menu. Great value for the money and I would definitely recommend this cafe to all of my friends and colleagues.

We had a team breakfast here today - food was great, service fantastic and would thoroughly recommend it. My pancakes were perfect. We also order buffets from here for meetings and the food is always very good - especially the home made cakes. A little gem.

Came in today (July 1st) about half an hour before the kitchen was supposed to close. We were told the kitchen had closed already so they were not doing any lunch. People who came in after us, however, were given food! They were served by a different lady, who took orders for jacked potatoes and ham baguettes. I went back to ask if they really had no more food left and was told (by the younger lady who spoke to us initially) that there was nothing. It felt very unfair and it gave me the impression that customers who were more assertive just got their way and were able to have food. It’s a shame because the atmosphere at the cafe was very lovely. An explanation from a manager would be much appreciated please. We left feeling very confused and not very happy.

Staff were friendly and helpful. They have obviously put a lot of thought into the decor and it's really unusual and quite pleasant if we had extra time we would have stayed and eaten in but this time we opted for a takeaway and the food was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed my ploughman's sandwich, really fresh, tasty ingredients. We also purchased some cake which was delicious and moist. Will definitely be returning. Thank you burrow munch

Found this lovely little place on our travels, and we're so glad we stopped. Breakfast was really good and the coffee was great. Will definitely be back when we're up this way again.

Have driven past this place dozens of times without taking much notice. Decided to actually stop off for lunch yesterday as I was starving...so glad I did was not dissapointed ! Really delicious food lovely relaxed atmosphere and really welcoming friendly staff.. I certainly didn't leave hungry absolute gem of a find !

It is a traditional cafe doing what traditional cafes do very well. Don't expect Michelin star quality, but what you get is very good.

A birthday lunch out with family and doggo. Have driven past this place so many times but never before been in. Very friendly and welcoming and the menu is extensive. Took a while for everyone to make their choices but the waitress was very patient and cheerful. We all loved our food and the portions were of a good size. I had breakfast and it was lush. One of my grandsons couldn't resist taking home some of the home made cakes at the front desk....the rest of us could only admire them as we were full to the brim. Will definitely go back as it was a friendly atmosphere and excellent value.

We used Burrow Munch for some catering for our training course, and we would gladly use them again. Claire's communication was excellent, and you can tell she is passionate about her business. This passion shows in the quality of the food. Compliments all round.

The Burrow Munch café is always excellent. The food is great, the service is great and everyone is really friendly and welcoming. They have some interesting local art and craft to buy too.

My friend and I, and my dog, booked for afternoon tea after seeing a picture on Facebook. We were not disappointed! The ladies in the café were very welcoming and served us a delicious treat and tea. My dog was welcomed and had fresh water to drink. We will definitely be back. Great service, lovely atmosphere and all at a brilliant price.

Unquestionably, the best coffee shop in the area! They offer the best coffee and range of drinks, also had a wide variety of foods for throughout the day. The Lasagne was truly amazing and highly recommended as was the freshly made cakes they have on offer. Every one of the staff showed the best attitude to its customers and highly capable of there job role! The atmosphere inside this coffee shop was cosy and relaxing making a perfect ambience. I will definitely rate them a five-star for everything that they provided. Thank you so much!

Thought l would try out the cafe, as read good reviews. Sorry to say bit disappointed... chicken burger was of poor quality, processed cheese triangle, large raw onion rings ( bigger than cheese ) and frozen chips. Bland and tasteless....such a shame as like to support local businesses. Owner seemed pleasant enough, which is more than l can say for the young waitress , who on my remark about the onion retorted with " it says that in the menu".!

After telling my son in Australia about this place we have finally been able to take them there. Despite reading the most ridiculous review ever, I am happy to say breakfast was as good as ever and, in my opinion, one of the best coffees around. Also tried the Ruby Hot Chocolate, will be repeating that! Staff were welcoming and friendly, we were given plenty of time to make our choices, all 6 of us! The extra charge for an egg change was explained. Extra maple syrup was provided when requested without question. A charming cafe with great food, well worth a visit.

Such a lovely place to come - local foods on offer which regularly change and some of the best coffee for miles around (recommend a caramel latte!). The breakfasts and lunches have always been piping hot with really High quality ingredients. We love to come here for a natter and rhe cake is always incredible! Thanks to Claire and the team 😊

Burrow Munch is by far the best café in Somerset… the staff are the most lovely people and are so helpful and service is amazing. The food is on another level, there really is something for everyone. It is in a convenient location and the atmosphere (loving the new jukebox) is wonderful! The cafe is clean, tidy and presentable at all times. We try and go here a couple of times a month to support local business but also because the food is so good, we can’t stay away. Large veggie breakfast and a milkshake is a go to for me. We also love the pancakes and the burgers… oh… and the cakes… and the panini’s… I’ll stop before I list the whole menu 😂 As you can see, there’s only one account leaving negative reviews, and I think that speaks for itself. We love this café and cannot wait to see what the future holds for you and the team, it’s certainly a special place ♥️

Visited today for lunch. Very pleased by service and quality of food. I think the place is under selling itself as it's not obvious that it's open as you drive past. They need better signage and perhaps a few flags to draw passing drivers attention. Overall it's a good little cafe and I will definitely use it in the future. KH.

Stopped by for a late breakfast after roaming around Athelney and dodging the sheep on Burrow Mump, and the crew at Burrrow Much really hit the spot. Great vegetarian Full English was delicious, it even came with pea shoots - an unexpected surprise. Lovely staff, good did, and a classic road side café. Perfect.

The breakfast I'd been waiting for. Outstanding food, great, friendly service in a properly sorted place. Don't be put off by the exterior, it's great.

Food and service was fine. Sadly not dog friendly even though "doggy ice cream" is advertised outside (not sure how you would go in to order this if there was no one with you to wait outside with the dog). So had to sit outside on a picnic bench next to the main road with cars passing at 60+mph, it was very noisy and hard to have a conversation. A shame as so local but would rather travel further and eat elsewhere in future.

A pleasant place to sit and eat. Full English Breakfast menus, Carnivore/ Vegetarian & Vegan which was pretty impressive and have other foods that might take your fancy. A nice little TV in the corner on the back wall which most can see. Lauren the waitress was very sweet and welcoming and also the food was at good quality service with no fat on the plate. If I could rate it over 5 stars I would. 🙂

Now this is my favorite place to eat burgers. They have even special one which is really big and delicious. Well done ladies.

Lovely food and friendly staff. The cakes looked gorgeous but the pie I had for lunch was so filling I decided to save the cake for my next visit. Another couple were having a late breakfast and that also looked worth further investigation! Well recommend.

We went there this morning, the staff were helpful and pleasant. The latte and cappuccino were lovely and we even tried the homemade cakes (delicious)

There was an accident on the M5 so we found this cafe while on diversion. My sister had a yummy funky banana ice cream and I had a really nice caramel iced coffee. Service was slow but probably to be expected because so many people have gone into the cafe because they got bored in the traffic jam. Service was friendly. Would return.

The wife and I have been coming here since the Cafe first opened and I have to say that this is the best cafe I and the wife have ever been to, The staff are so helpful and knowledgable regards the food and will tell you where the food has come from. Claire & Lauren and Amy really make a good team as you would expect from Mum & daughter. And the food is of a seriously high quality and as far as I am concerned the nicest I have had in a long time and there is not a single morsel of cereal anywhere. If you want quality you will not find better and as you would expect great value for money. Also if you ask Claire for a birthday cake she will do her utmust to do what you ask for as my wife asked her to do a birthday cake for myself which was a bit of a slog but she still did it and the flavours were off the chart. Best Cafe in the south west.
