The best food I've had of late. Fast delivery, reasonable prices. Ate every single bit, absolutely tasty food.

£25 worth of food thrown the minute I tasted it. Sweet & Sour Chicken was fatty and lumpy, Salt & Pepper Chips where cold along with the Egg Fried Rice. Complete waste of money. Called to complain, and they didn't seem to care.

Food dry and hard doesn’t taste like a good Chinese just avoid it ordered here quite a lot over the years but it’s just gone downhill and all really rude when try to complain as no one else has complained pathetic excuse for poor food

Most of these good reviews must have been written by friends or family. I ordered tonight 5/2/21 and the food was terrible!!!! It tasted nothing like a decent chinese. I ordered King Prawn chow mein ( I love chow mein.) if you do too, stay away from this place. Wife ordered special chow mein- sickening. There are plenty of others to choose from. do yourselkf a favour.

Staying in the area & the reviews looked pretty good on the whole - what a disappointment Prawn Crackers - greasy & tasted of stale oil - threw away Spring Roll - tasteless. Ate half & gave up when large amounts of stale oil started pouring out of the bottom Vegetables with garlic & chilli - simply awful Singapore Chow Mein - didn't taste anything like the dish should. No taste of curry & no heat - greasy again Threw most of this away & what a waste of money as this is not a cheap takeaway. If this is what you think proper Chinese food tastes like then you're very much mistaken

I love the crispy duck, we have used this take away so many times and never had a bad meal. Like all Chinese there is a full menu and waiting time is short.

Comprehensive menu, fair prices, free prawn crackers/drink for spending over a certain amount, delivery if required, oh and very tasty food and decent portion size. We always collect and it's only ever a 10 minute wait, the service is always excellent but a smile wouldn't go amiss!

Stayed at holiday inn Express and had a take away from here delivered. Reasonable and very tasty. Ordered a few varied dishes , all good

This Chinese is the best Chinese I have tasted........ Fresh, Hot and so so tasty! This is not only my opinion but all my family who experienced this meal we had tonight too. A big hands down to Burnley Oriental it really was fantastic and we couldn't ask for any more (other than free prawn crackers).

and that's for the delivery time. Three different dishes all tasted of old oil . Soup ok but £25 worth straight in the bin !!!!!

Only been there once, we usually get delivery via the Just Eat service. It can take a while for delivery but that just goes to show how popular this place is, they usually manage to deliver before the estimated time. The food arrives hot and is excellent, we've tried various dishes and not been dissappointed yet.

This is somewhere we use quite a bit,as normally fast delivery,the ribs,food usually ok and reasonably warm,this last time tho the salt and pepper ribs were horrible,food cold,will give one more go,if the same,wont use again

Waited over an hour and half to the most disgusting food ever. Everything was cold as it finally got delivered at 10.40pm.salt and pepper wings soggy and greasy, my crispy beef was deffiently over cooked and burnt. Stay away

Delivery was very fast, they said 45 minutes and food was delivered within 20 minutes. The food was hot and delicious as always, Staff are very polite on the phone when taking orders. Will use again

Has to be the best take away for Chinese food in burnley. All the food was excellent quality and delivery fast. Recommended!

Have used this takeaway a few times when staying in the area, we have never had a bad meal yet. The staff are really helpful, we said we were staying at the travelodge close by so they gave us plastic spoons ,knives & forks to eat with FOC. We have a set meal for two which is good value and good food which is hot. we will certainly use again next time we are in the area.

Absolutely fantastic, Relaxing atmosphere with very attentive staff, always fast service. The food is outstanding, chili and tomato chicken is my favourite but everything is fantastic and the sausages really surprise they melt in the mouth best I have ever had The alcoholic beverages here are better than most bars, and as far as i can tell they do not water down.Food constantly being brought out fresh. Really cant think of bad word to say. all for a great price

Called in here when my usual haunt was just too busy. Tried four of the starters. Crab claws were poor, prawn toast was average, wontons were poor and salt & pepper wings were good. They would be better off, reducing the size of the menu and improving their most popular dishes.

Summary:As others have already said, the food is large portions and good prices and you can add noodles (that come in a separate container) on to most mains for £1 extra. If you are unsure of which place to order from in Burney please try here first if you are having any of the dishes I am mentioning below, you won't be disappointed. I actually initially tried 2 other places before this one as when I drove past it, it looked like the bottom of someone's house and not very appealing. The only reason I ended up ordering from here're first time is because the other places were closed. Since my first order I now only order from here. To date I've ordered about 4-5 times.If you collect, it will be ready in about 10 minutes and delivery is about 30 minutesHere are a selection of the dishes I have had the pleasure of trying:-Sweet and sour chicken (not balls) - this is one of the nicest I have ever had. Great tasting sauce, great tasting large chunks of chicken and a good batter. Also a large portion. 5/5-Salt and pepper chicken pieces. Very nice! I have only recently discovered the wonders of salt and pepper chicken and this is one of the nicest I've had. nice and crispy, not to salty or peppery and a really nice subtle sauce (Not really a sauce, more like a tiny bit of oil that the whole dish was cooked in - which is tasty) 5/5-Soft noodles and bean-sprouts. Plain tasting, but it's not meant to be chow mein, just an alternative to rice to mix with your main dishes. At £1 extra it's a bargain 3/5-prawn crackers. A tiny bit greasy, not the best I've ever had but they come for free with orders over £10 so for free they are great for scooping up any extra sauce from your dishes. On there own they taste perfectly fine, 4/5-Satay chicken skewers. This is the only dish I've had the I didn't like. It's not that it was bad, the satay sauce was just different tasting than I'm used to. However I have not ordered it again since my first order.Overall, order from here if you want great tasting, fresh tasting food. Good quality, both meats (they must use nice chicken breast and not off cuts) and veg/sauce.

I got introduced to this take away off my mum. Then I introduced it to my friend etc. and we all really enjoy it an the food portions are huge. You won't go hungry. I Always order online and it's here within good time.

In my opinion Burnley Oriental is one of the best Chinese Takeaway's in the area.The menu is large with lots of variety, the portions are huge and the service is quick. I have never used the delivery service however, I have always ordered and collected my food from the shop itself.The salt and pepper mushrooms are absolutely delishious.
