I can’t lie I ordered the spicy dip and my Mrs ordered just bird one and omg we are full bang on burger shop I rarely do reviews but that was a cracker off a burger

It's probably one of the worst burger places in Preston! Smashed burger is absolutely tasteless, and meat burned, shocking!! The chicken burger is even worse, dry and thin.

I had ordered the Philly Cheese steak and Nashville Load fries and it was the best in Preston. Friendly staff and amazing food. The beef used for their classic burgers just melts in your mouth. Would recommend.

Amazing food! The Smash that bird burger was nice and juicy and the meat was seasoned well. My favourite was the beef loaded fries, everything tastes well together, the beef, the nacho cheese and the fries with caramelised onions and it is really filling too. Friendly service too. Definitely would recommend this place and I’ll be regularly be visiting here.

Recently seen in the news about this place being infested with rats. I ordered from this place one time about 4-5 years ago. The food was delivered on time and it looks really nice but as soon as I took a bite into the chicken burger it was fully raw. I was sick twice after that and tried ringing up explaining everything but the owner who I was speaking to on the phone insisted that the burger was fully cooked because he cooked it himself so I had to be lying. He then hung up without listening to my response. Worst takeaway UK.

£6.50 for an standard chicken burger is too much. Should be £6.50 for a meal and the burger price should be more like £4

This is hands down the worst food I have had in years. The oil the chicken burger and wings were cooked in was old and burnt, and made the food tast dreadful. The wings were nearly £6 for 5 half wings, which weren't crispy and inedible. The potatoe buns were soggy and the chicken fillet over cooked and dry. It was so bad I threw it all in the bin. £15 wasted. So disappointed

First time at this place... burgers were really good, 10 out of 10 and I will come back... But honestly £3 for cold cheesy chips as mean as below...you are letting yourself down.

Definitely not worth the price, the inside does not look clean at all, took 20 minutes to make one burger meal and they served me ice cold fries. Not a 1* review cause I went back and they did replace the fries for me. The burger was average nothing special. I also asked for chilli sauce and burger sauce as a part of my meal and received mayonnaise and garlic sauce. Definitely won’t be back.

Best burgers for miles , always fresh and great ingredients,, off the main drag so go and find it, it is really worth the effort!

I ordered from this takeaway tonight,my burger came and the meat wasn’t cooked it was pink. I also asked for ketchup and cheese which none of it was on my burger instead was lettuce that looked dirty and some disgusting sauce. This has made me unwell and I will not be ordering from this dirty takeaway again. I should have known not to order from this takeaway because the road it’s on says it all.

This used to be one of my favourite burger restaurants in Preston, however over the last year the quality has drastically gone downhill. It’s truly a shame as I used to be a frequent customer who adored the Nashville Hot Burger, however the last 2 times I have ordered there has been more batter than chicken rendering the burger inedible. I doubt I will return in the near future.

Walked into an absolute abysmal excuse for a takeaway, i was hit with smoke from the grill as i was waiting and sat for my food. The philly cheesesteak was OK but the nashville “Hot” burger was a sad excuse for a spicy burger. It had no kick to it and the texture and sauce were disgusting. The highlight of my meal was the Irn Bru which was not even real. The price absolutely horrendous, they are asking for and arm and a leg for childs portion of food. Overall the hygiene of the dining area was awful, floors were sticky and tables were unstable. Joke of a place

Extremely pricey, burger below standard, staff too busy on calls while serving and not really listening to requests made. Atmosphere not inviting, but also needs a thorough clean, no customers while i waited, only delivery guys so people not seeing where their food is really getting prepared

Disgusting placed an order and specifically asked for no salad gherkins and burger sauce delivered cold so rung and asked why you had put all things on I don't eat they simply said we have recordings of you asking for them rung back and asked would they pick back up ir rectify mistake or refund now just not answering great customer service from an establishment me and my family use

Ordered home delivery. Burgers were good but quite small. Fries portion was microscopic. Not good price/value ratio.

Can't say how disappointed I am. I was told they were cheaper and better than five guys. The beef burger I has was light weight with 2 very thin burgers. Although it tasted kind of ok, the cheese flavoured sauce gave it a slimy texture and I couldnt identify what else was in with the burger. Chips were like Macdonald small fries and came with pots of cheese flavoured sauce. My son described his shake as the texture of puke. My shake tasted oddly of aniseed ( 3 shakes litrally down the drain). Very overpriced for what we got. I wouldn't recommend this place or order there again.

Wrong item received and not wanting to refund it or exchange it at least. The manager was so rude that he told his own employee to pay for it from his own pocket if he is bothered about it. Will never order from here again.

Descent place for smashed burgers if you are in the area, I had the double smashed burger with the special sauce (avoid this sauce as it is bland!) and had the Louisiana wings which once again were ‘okay’. I can’t fault the service and the guys that work there though.

The best chicken wings in town, probably in the UK, also the steak burger is something different I've enjoyed every single bite

Had the original burger and the chicken buttermilk burger. To be honest I wasn't expecting anything different to other burger joints. However, I was really surprised when found the chicken burger was really nice, succulent and tasty.

Twisted Angus Burger tasted burnt and was not the size I expected the samem size as a Big Mac but it was smaller with a nasty burnt taste. Loaded fries were covered in charcoal flavoured meat. I prefer my meat well done but everything tasted carbonised like charcoal. At the end of the day I've tried their Food and disliked it and will not order again. Not in my top 100

Ordered the Nashville burger with fries and chicken niblets. Order was delivered within half an hour of placing which can only mean my food was rushed. Fries where cold and the burger had excess batter that was crunchy hanging off. The chicken niblets where not even cooked properly as shown in the picture.

Ordered from many places around Preston before, always some sort of issue like soggy fries or poor quality meat. Tried the Twisted Angus Burger and Loaded Fries, finger licking good. All ingredients taste fresh, the different sauces compliment the food and everything tasted amazing. Will definitely order again!

Here’s a place that’s supposed to do a thing that’s made to call at us; an attempt to craft a proper burger. I ordered the cheesed beef burger, with an extra patty and a nashville hot burger. I ordered cheesy fries as a side too. Now the price. The cheesed beef burger on its own cost 8.50, but seeing that an extra patty was just another 1.50 I thought it would only be sensible to get more meat that’s almost five times less than the standard burger on its own! When i got down to business I realised that had i not ordered that extra beef patty, I would have been cheesed off big time. The size of the burger was pretty small, and I noticed the beef patty itself was smashed down to a rasher. The taste was good, with a decent amount of cheese in there and super soft buns, but wish it could have lasted a bit longer for something that cost me a tenner, as i cleared it up in four bites. The nashville hot. Well then, I like a bit of buttermilk batter on a meat, but not the other way round. The batter on this thing was hanging off around the seams, it was very hard and crunchy for my liking and I noticed only a sliver of actual chicken meat in the central portion of the patty that was literally one bites worth. I enjoy my burgers, and there are decent places in Preston that cater good quality burgers. Although I enjoyed the taste of their beef burger, sadly, the rest just wasn’t serviceable. I can see the attempt of this place vying to be a one stop premium burger joint, but the quantity and exorbitant price does not add up. And the location of this place isn’t exactly what I would describe upmarket and family friendly - especially in the evenings!, so don’t be expecting palatable views to go with your a la carte burger whilst seeing questionable people hanging around just opposite. In conclusion, the aptly named “Burgr” seems to have missed much more than a letter.

Tried this place out for the first time this evening - and I'm glad I gave it a shot. I got the double "cheesed burger" with fries - all the food was full of flavour and nicely cooked. The only criticism I have is that the burgers need to be bigger - especially for the prices being charged. The fries were amazing, they were very different to fries I've had at any other place - hence this review remained 5 stars and not 4.
