Awful customer service and appalling management attitude. So disappointed. Came back from Aintree hospital with my wife today and ordered gourmet burgers from Burger Town as a treat for my wife after her treatment. Our order still hadn’t arrived after the designated 60mins. I rang them to find out where it was? I was first told “we haven’t got your order?” Then they told me false information about when it was actually due to arrive. I had a screenshot of the correct time and challenged them on this. They refused to accept that or offer any support and just said “so do you want a refund and we will get the driver back?”. This was totally unhelpful and unsympathetic. After getting nowhere and with her refusal to offer any apology, she said “well what you complaining about anyway, it’s only 15mins late?” It was actually 30mins late when it did arrive 90mins after we ordered it. I was so disappointed in their attitude and lack of professionalism. In the end, it was too late as my wife was tired and went to bed before it arrived.

Took our order and never got it when tried calling they had closed at 6pm our order was meant to be with us by 6.15 ! Awful service

Thr food was 2 hours late, second time we asked they offered us a free cake znd still had to phone twice after this, said my order was out for delivery 25 minutes ago and still hasn't arrived. Delivery is appalling Food was delicious though 5 stars for food

These guys are nice, great food, but the delivery times are awful waiting 1:30+ hours. You try and drop them a call, and they have up on you? Only 2 stars because the food is alright. If I could give the service -5 I would.

Some of the best burgers I have ever tried, as well as, their service being impecable, everyone was very charming and friendly, its definitely a must to try. :)

Ordered 2 roasts today (19-09-2021) Asked for all meat on 1 & only received 2 meats on both. Mash on 1 meal only instead of both broccoli & carrots were literally teeth breaking. Sausage was raw & Yorkshire pudding may as well been an extremely small undercooked doughy dumpling ball rather than a Yorkshire pudding & everything was covered in cabbage. The meats that we did receive was nice as well as the gravy and roasties. Been going here for ages now even before the new shop opened and definitely wasn’t expecting a roast like that from burger town!

Best breakfast around food is gorgeous staff are lovely so clean in there 5 star plus from me 🙌🙌

Avoid at all cost take orders over 2 hours ago ask for contact detail why I don't know because the ignorant people cannot be bothered to contact to say they will not be delivering then when you goto call it goes onto Vodafone voicemail for a brand new shop need to take customers a bit more serious

The food from here is the only reason I continue to order from here I have ordered about 4 times and they have got my order right on 2 occasions every time I seem to order buffalo wings with sriracha sauce I get chicken strips this has happened twice now which is very disappointing because I don’t like strips and the wings are delicious with the sauce also the wait time can be longer than estimated we waited an extra 45- 60 got here at 9:15 instead of 8:15-8:30 I called the restaurant an it went to answer phone both times so I called again and the lady who answered was quite rude this isn’t the first time I have called an the person was rude but last time an awfully nice lady was on the phone after her and made up for the others poor attitude

Wow wow, I wouldn't give your food to a homeless person. Not only was it cold, it was missing items. And when we phoned up to ask for our item which cost a fiver. We got the phone put down haha. Worst place I've eaten from

False advertising on their menu. That's the only explanation as to why the salads I ordered were missing over half of the items each. If the ingredients weren't in stock then any decent restaurant would not accept the order.

Went to burger town on Friday my mate been dying to go for ages I got the new spicy chicken noodle box it was fittttt. My friend wasn’t a burger fan but has totally been converted 👌🏼🍔 Food was outstanding the girls in shop were so friendly and helpful. The dessert selection was to die for what more can a girl want 👌🏼 Wish I wasn’t on a diet so I could go every day 💯👌🏼

We moved to Liverpool almost a year ago. There are no shortage of takeaways to say the least and we have tried a few. We only wish we found this place sooner! It has one of the most impressive menus we have ever seen and the food is equally impressive. We will most certainly be regular customers here! Top marks.

Ordered food for the family waited a hour to receive a notification saying order has been cancelled they can't accept our order at this time, would understand if it was 10 to 15 mins after putting the order in but 60 mins is abit ridiculous

I'm all for people clawing back their profits having had to shut and take the blows that came with the pandemic, which closed them for a long time, however for a food delivery (optional) business to accept an order around 7.45pmish, identifying a deliver time of 1 hour later in the full knowledge this was an unrealistic time and not bothering to contact their customers who paid for orders to let them know this is just simply unacceptable. The thing is, I even offered - via the chat service because the sky answer phone service was full and not accepting messages - to forget the delivery and come to pick it up however nobody came back to me on it. I called approx 10 mins after the estimated delivery time because I was concerned that order had gone from 'order accepted' to 'enjoy your food- rate us' so I was worried that it had been delivered to the wrong address, only to be told there was a delay as they were overwhelmed with orders but it was just leaving the shop. I accepted this as I totally understand that because the food is so good (judging by the ratings- this was my first order) so gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was on its way. 1 hour later I called to ask what was going on, to be told there was a delivery driver problem and they were taking more orders than normal but the order was just leaving. No, sorry, what part do you expect me to believe having been told the same thing 1 hour before? I get it, good food joints are busy. But what is difficult about calling the customers that order via app to advise there's a 2 hour delay not 1 hour? Bet people who walked in didn't wait 2 hours? Had I of known when ordering it was 2 hour delay, i would have ordered somewhere else, however the difference is, I would have come back to Burgertown another time to place another order but this time, to stipulate collection, to avoid any issues. But that won't happen. 1st impressions count for a lot and mine was terrible. A burger is a burger, but when it's a highly recommended one, then that's the best type, but no recommendation is worth poor service. At a time when we are trying to rebuild our own economy, there is only so much that can be blamed on the 'pandemic'. This was just poor service that has massive room for improvement regardless of the current situation.

We got takeaway from Burger Town last night. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the cheese burger with salt and pepper chicken wings and my partner had the bacon cheese burger with bbq wings. There was a short delay as they were so busy (a sign at how good the food is) so they gave us free cake! It was a lovely gesture and the cake was delicious!! We will definitely be returning.

Tonight we had the steak loaded fries (absolutely genius idea) katsu loaded fries and salt and chilli box. OMG it was all amazing. portions are huge, piping hot and so glad I tried. Fantastic food!!!!!!

Was so excited to order from here after coming across their Instagram page. Unfortunately the food we received was nothing like the food they are advertising. The chips were so hard and tasteless they were inedible. We ordered a chicken burger and requested no Mayo due to an egg allergy and when we got home the burger was covered in Mayo and it’s so long to drive back. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Overrated and over priced. Tried to telephone for a collection service as thought it would have been quicker collecting than delivery. Took 20 minutes to get through so the telephone system needs addressing. Waited for 1hr 30 minutes for 3 burgers with fries. Stone cold all of it. Opted for loaded fries and FYI they don’t melt the actual cheese so the images are misleading that are uploaded to social media upon making a telephone call the response was that’s how it’s supposed to be not melted well why advertise that way 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also advised that lady on the telephone that everything was completely cold and the response was what do you want me to do about it. All the food was placed In the oven to be reheated as it was editable at all and as you can imagine reheating fries isn’t good when they are a already and soggy

Wouldn’t even put one star. Rang to place a order to be picked up, there must of been a misunderstanding with the time to be picked up but we got left a voice mail of the woman who works there and said food is ready, phoned back and said on our way sorry must of got time wrong. 5 mins later got a horrible voicemail again of the owner saying we should be ashamed of ourselves placing a order and not picking up especially in a pandemic, and we could not order again from them. Picked our food up and they apologised got given 2 free cans and 2 cakes. Got home they forgot 3 items. They thought they was doing us a favour giving us 2 free cans when we ordered 2 different cans that we never got. Plus one bacon and cheese fries. Phoned them back and it was our fault because apparently we never said the drinks we wanted. I was right next to my boyfriend when he told the lady our order and he said what drinks. So after all that kick of they forgot 3 items. Service is shocking!!!! Didnt even get a sorry about the items they forgot. They have done us a favour blocking our number because we will never be returning.

Ordered pepper corn loaded fries, looked nice on there Instagram page but what I received was totally different as you can see in the pictures. It was just cheep frozen chips the type you get for a £1 a bag and gravy like water with pepper corns in. would never order from here again.

There late with deliverys because they are so busy & the food is AMAZING... AVOID - order through Uber eats with a delivery time of an hour. 2 hours later still no food, tried to ring them after 20 minutes got through to be told “it’s a worldwide pandemic” and they would not start the order for another 40 minutes. UPDATE YOUR APPS. Customers will wait if you tell them. The pandemic shouldn’t be your only reason for being slow.

I seen these og burger boxes on social media they look amazing. So been craving all week ordered 1 today along with a chicken combo meal. The box did not live up to expectations. The portion size on the frys where very small and i ordered them loaded they didnt load them. The burgers where small amd tasted almost like precooked and reheated. The mozzerella sticks and wings where decent but to pay 23 quid for a meal like that makes me feel robbed and like a mug. Ya live and learn i wont be ordering again. Dissapointed that ya feel its ok to charge that money for a meal like that in a pandemic.

*****AVOID AT ALL COSTS***** Partner ordered food at 7:30pm, at 9:00pm still no sign of the order. She rang a couple of times and was told the first time "it was out for delivery", she then rang half an hour later to be told "it'll be a further 40 minutes" that's nearly three hours for "fast food". Partner had no choice but to cancel the order and go somewhere else.

If anyone wants a meal from here on a Saturday night order on the Friday night over 2 hours we waited chips hard meals luke warm missing stuff off meals

Burger was nice but over priced for size of it. Ordered parmasen fries which consisted of dried out fries with a few grates of parmasen cheese on top not melted and sprinkled with garlic salt. Wouldn't recommend very dry. Jalapeño cheese balls where nice.

Waited over 90 minutes for a delivery which was cold. The burger hadn't been heated properly, the chips were soggy and had to be warmed in the oven and the salad was limp Rang the takeaway and was told we wouldn't be ordering from there again...

Terrible attitude, don't want to change the order that they have messed up. They try not to give you your drinks you have paid for, the Last 3 times I have had to ask for the drinks they have not given with the order. They have cut the amount of chicken in the wrap to almost zero.

After previously ordering food from here and rating it as our favourite take away and working tirelessly all weekend, me and my partner ordered a salt and pepper box and a chicken melt burger. We have never been so disappointed! On the phone we said we wanted everything on the burger including extra cheese...the burger came with a dry chicken fillet and 1 slice of cheese on the bun...no other fillings. The salt and pepper box was nothing special and definitely doesn't look like what is advertised on the photos. We even had to add our own extra salt and pepper seasoning. Have you changed chefs? Something has definitely changed from making the most amazing salt and pepper loaded fries we've ever had, to that sad box of food and an awful burger. Definitely the worst takeaway we've had!

Ordered the Zinger burger meal (thinnest burger ever) in fact I felt like I was just eating the bun. It was so dry and tasteless. Chips were okay but cold. My partner ordered the 'just beef burger' which was tasty he said but nothing special. Wont be returning back there, there are so many better take aways in the area.

Not only the delivery was three (3) hours late right during the COVID-19 pandemic they didn't stick to contactless delivery, putting in danger the entire building and my family. Good job.

Ordered last night for the first time with 4 friends, was told there would be up to an hour wait but was 100% worth it! Food was so hot and fresh and tasted amazing, staff were lovely and threw in a free dessert each which was so nice of them to do! Have honestly never tasted better sui mais could live off them daily! Would highly highly recommend trying, was all of our first time and were definitely ordering again!

Ordered in the app, delivery time was 1hr 10mins which is ridiculous but the Instagram pics looked good so thought it will be worth the wait. The delivery time came and went, I give them a call and they did apologise and said they'd send some free cake to make up for it. So eventually 1hr 40mins after making the order it finally shows up. There was nothing special about the food, one of the burgers was the saddest thing I've ever seen, and shocker the free cake didn't come either. The one star is cause I'm not hungry any more but probably won't be ordering again.

Tuve una experiencia fantástica en BurgerTown con mi familia. La comida es increíble cocinada gustos frescos deliciosos. Sin duda el mejor lugar de hamburguesas en el que he comido. Nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. El personal es encantador, danos postres gratis y déjanos probar un nuevo producto de comida. Recomiendo encarecidamente venir aquí. Viajamos desde Halewood y definitivamente valió la pena el viaje. Volveremos de nuevo.

just been there....the place is spotless, staff really friendly, waited 25 minutes for my food ( that's not a complaint ) the food is cooked fresh so didn't mind waiting...took me 15 minutes to get home. Food was piping hot and tasted delicious..will defo be going back x

We used to order from burger town a couple of years ago when we lived in Liverpool. We since moved to the Wirral but we never forget about the place because we loved it! We happened to be up over that way again visiting recently and had to go again! It’s just as good if not better! We ate in for the first time and the staff could not do enough for us! The food is brilliant and as are their milkshakes! Will definitely be back again soon.

Heard good things about this place but had never had the pleasure of trying myself,so tonight I gave it a go and wow food was out of this world.cant believe the quality of food for that price. Been to loads of Scran gaffs some top restaurants but this beats all of them hands down for a fraction of the price. Deffo my new fav takeaway.
