ALL FAKE REVIEWS HAVE PHOTO OF FOOD Appalling quality meat. An absolute joke of a burger with stale bread. The patties are just the same used across the board in standard takeaways

Literally hands down the worst burger I have ever had. Pattie tasteless, dry, extremely overcooked, no fat no salt and therefore no taste. The mayonnaise isn't even mayonnaise it's white food colouring and water and gelatin as far as I can tell. Zero taste. Same with the cheese it has never been near a cow. Bun the best bit and that's saying nothing. You could get a juicy tasty medium rare Honest Burger for this price!

I placed an order online through their website on the 4th of April, it was never confirmed. I tried to call and the phone no. was disconnected. went down to the store and the shutter doors were closed. I would like a refund as the money is gone and the only contact details aren't connected it seems

I have had the burger a few times. Tonight, i ordered a supreme chicken burger. Burger was good in taste. As soon as i sat in the car, i started coughing n, then started to have vomiting. Lots of vomiting. I dont know if the chicken used was not fresh or whatever the reason was. Not having their burgers again.

Amazing taste of halal burgers in entire Reading!! Specifically writing this review to highlight the positive attitude of the counter guy. my order was incorrect (the specs of burger were inaccurate in Uber Eats - no mention of lamb there but burger was having Lamb donner). I called them in anger and the person responded very politely and offered apologies after understanding the matter, and cooked another dinner for me. Obv I had to go myself this time but I was happy to get nice attitude along with resolution. Thank you and keep it up!

Ordered deliveroo for the first time and was very disappointed, unfortunately my chicken deluxe meal which is just under £10 was a cheap processed chicken burger with fries , no drink no sauces. The double cheese burger which cost just under £9 again, small nothing special. Very over priced. Will not be ordering again unfortunately. The only positive it was delivered very quickly.

Ordered delivery, bun was stale, sauce was tasteless, burger patties were like rubber (I assume from frozen) and lettuce was so wet the bottom bun was cold and soggy. Terrible.

Today I just ordered 40 £ by delivoroo it’s my first time to order from this place, the chicken patty really small and taste zero , the packaging in foil and really bad, milkshake is bad the ice cream no flavor I’ll never order again . The place expensive . My point for new people don’t try it , it’s really bad place to spend your money 🤮

We visited on 14th November in the evening. The member of staff that was working that evening went up and beyond. Customer service was 10 out 10 to the owner look after him because he really shows a lot of love and passion for the business. The Ottoman Zing Donner was out of this world very nice 💯 recommended.

Ordered this on Deliveroo and was really disappointed. For the price you pay you’d expect quality meat. This tastes like a £3 takeaway. Meat tasted like cardboard. The buns tasted cheap. The Donner was okay but again weird cardboard after taste. The “naan” bread they gave was definitely store bought. Will not be trying again. There are better places to eat in Reading.

Best kebab I’ve ever had, the mint sauce was incredible and the salad was so fresh. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves good food for a reasonable price. Would recommend the ottoman zing kebab - absolutely delicious.

These guys are perfect the chips out of this world and the burgers match.

I had their chicken and beef combo burger it wasn’t tasty at all. 1/10 that’s how much i would rate this burger. And i got the Flaming hot wings they were so bland, there was no spice nothing on them they were just coated with ketchup! I was expecting something really good for £10 a burger but this is just overpriced place. Overall this was a really bad experience for me! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Amazing place ,food and vibe. I did love the burger and the wings they were amazing. What's is more cool is that keep Menu small and simple so I THINK that the products will be almost every time fresh ,super important as a customer .Overall I am happy with experience ,next month gonna try more food from them for sure

Went here based on the reviews. Loved their take on burgers and their doner is outstanding. Service was excellent and really enjoyed the experience.

Absolutely delicious burgers. One of the best in town. The garlic sauce is different than any garlic sauce you will try in UK. It’s similar to the ones I had back home in Saudi.

Good halal option fresh food with decent portion sizes

Ordered a bunch of starters from there, loved the jalapeno poppers.

Decided to treat myself after walking past far too many times - selected the Ultimate Beast as show below and I certainly wasn't disappointed – served on a wooden plater with tasty chips – have already recommended to my neighbour who was contemplating visiting.

I came here yesterday and the food was pretty good but one of the staff members (Bald guy with a beard) was extremely rude to me because he got my order wrong. Even after he agreed to correct it, I could hear him shouting about me in the kitchen. I'm not saying don't eat here cause like I said the food was alright but someone needs to talk to that staff member about his customer service skills. I would never go there again after how I was treated.

An absolutely banging burger 🍔 juicy seasoned patty, great salad, soft bun, just right amount of burger sauce. Top notch fries. Get yourself down there !

High quality burger and chicken joint on Oxford Road. You can take away and sit in, restaurant looks great inside with comfortable seating areas. I had the wings and also chicken strips, which were excellent. The Masala Chips are recommended too. Portions are large, cooked well and well packaged for takeaway. The food is much, much better quality than other equivalent takeaways in town. The staff are friendly and you can order online to collect. Highly recommended.

Collected tonight as takeaway the basic premium burger and fries, seemed bit pricey at £7:95. But wow ! The burger was great, tasty, crumbly rather than a solid lump, so guess made in house. Nice brioche bun and loads of really fresh salad. Revelation was the fries. Never had takeaway chips so perfect. Crisp and dry, tasty with nil sogginess. I'll be back often, only the price deters me for a takeaway ... Guess that's inflation and need to keep a small business afloat, but may be counterproductive on the Oxford Road which might be more into McD rather than Five Guys or Byron ?

The Ottoman Zing Donner is unique, I think it’s cooked in a Karahi with other spices which makes it taste different to kebab vans and Turkish shops like Best Kebab House. I would recommend trying this. The burger is a thick patty and it’s not amazing IMO, the beef does not break away as if it’s been packed by hand BUT the chips, bun and construction was excellent. The halloumi burger was really good and a recommended if you are looking for veg option. All round a decent place to sit in, the decor is beautiful and they have great drink choices.

Absolutely amazing place. Nice comfortable setting, brilliant customer service, fresh food, good sized burgers - very affordable for the huge portions! Nice candles and comfy chairs - a great addition to Oxford Road - and it's fully Halal and suited for muslims! The ottoman zing donner is really great! Best burgers in Reading for sure!

Burger & co is the perfect place to go when you want to treat yourself. I’m quite picky when it comes to burgers and co called comfort food but this place has exceeded my expectations! And this place is definitely worth the money. The presentation and the food is just absolutely delicious. Love the service and would definitely recommend anyone to order here if they feel like having a treat.

Today I have tried ottoman zinger döner. Sorry to say this was the most disguising doner I ever had, and this doner doesn't deserve any stars. . 100% weird taste and so salty absolutely waste of money. I was hoping maybe today I will have some great doner but very very very disappointed. Will never visit the restaurant again.

I have been having burgers most of my life and in many countries around the world and i have to admit Burgers and co burgers come amongst the top 3 beef patty was juicy succulent and tasty. The bun was still in tact till the last bite and the sauce was flavoursome. Price was right and service was great. The only advice i have from them is keep up the good work and maintain the standrads you have set.

Got to say one of the best beef and chicken combo burgers I’ve tried honestly so fresh and good, will deffo be coming back and will be recommending to more people about burger & co.🙂

The best food in town and very friendly people.

I am a food critic and have tried all the best burger places around the area and this one was not very good, I gave an extra star for portion sizes otherwise the taste would only get 2 stars because there was no taste, beef burgers are very bland no taste at all the only thing that you can taste in the burger is the sauce and the gherkins and nothing else. Chips were completely tasteless as well. Service was OK but i find the guy a bit persuasive and makes you choose what you don't really want. Sorry but smash & grab in East Reading still has the best most flavourful Angus beef burgers. You guys need to work on the taste.

Beat place I have ever been at. I have high hopes for this restaurant. Inshallah they will become 100% successful and i hope they have more branches all over reading maybe even uk🙏. I ordered the ottoman zing doner and it was so good. Spread the news that a new 5 star restaurant has opened.

I will not hesitate to recommend this wonderful restaurant to anybody. They prepare and serve fabulous food. I have great memorable experience visiting them.

Lovely & Delicious Donar kebab, I used to travel all the way to East London for this type of spicy Donar but now we have it right here in Reading and tastes much better too. Chicken Burgers were also nice and crunchy. Whole family enjoyed the food and will definitely be visiting regularly. Thanks for opening this on Oxford Road, Reading. 5 Star rating. Can’t wait for the deserts next time.
