Burger Now in Swindon

Terrible! I recently ordered from Burger Now in Swindon, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfying. The delivery was incomplete, with a crucial part of the order missing. As a result, what did arrive was stone cold by the time it reached me. There's nothing worse than looking forward to a meal and then being let down by cold food and poor service. Given the mishap with the order, it’s clear that their attention to detail and customer service needs serious improvement. I won’t be ordering from here again anytime soon. To be told given that I should ask for a refund tomorrow, DISGUSTING.

Previously had good experience here but the food was more than an hour later than the latest stated delivery time (which you have to pay for), and when calling to ask where it was, was completely unhelpful and told it left 10 minutes prior, despite being less than a mile away. This place used to be really good but has hugely gone downhill since merging as one company. Won't use again.

Absolutely terrible service!!! Ordered online, let alone they are only 4 miles away they still charged £4.50 delivery. Turned up and they added another £4.50 for delivery taking it to £29.85 when it was included already in the total (see pic). Delivery guy took a picture of the email where it clearly stated delivery fee was included in the total but when he passed me the phone to the manager, I was told it wasn't included, even though he had the picture stating it was and if we didn’t want to pay it he’ll take the food back. Manager is a complete d*** and apparently cannot read. Sent the food away, never ordering from there again.

Me and my friend ordered take away from here and it had black hairs all in the food. Absolutely disgusting!!! Never ever again.

I ordered tonight and I have to say this is hands down the best burger place in Swindon. I’m normally a 5 guys type of girl but BURGER NOW TOPS THAT 100000%. My new favourite 😍

Ordered food online, food was wrong once we got home. The staff got defensive telling me the chef made the right order( absolutely didn’t) I was then told to take the burger back to them so they can look at it to which I replied I’ve had a drink now as it’s NYE. Further down the line when I’ve said I’ll take back the food and leave it in there the childish staff said to me how are you going to do that then when you’ve had a drink. The staff are pathetic, rude, defensive and clearly cannot run a business well. Wish I’d read reviews before ordering. After being hung up on I’ve had another childish response from the child on the phone who wouldn’t provide her name… yet she’s a proud business owner… funny that. I have then had to get my food back to the shop for a refund which was refused on the phone. Avoid this place. Over priced trash, food was freezing cold anyway. Get yourself a proper meal not this crap! Let’s see if I get my refund, doubt it scammers.

A late delivery wouldn't be a problem if the food arrived hot. The order was marked out for delivery, and I queried why a 1 minute drive already had taken 10 minutes, but accepted there would be other deliveries in the area. However, the food arrived 30 minutes later, the burgers lukewarm, chips limp and near cold. Complaining about this, the female mos got defensive, insisting the delivery would go straight out, when clearly an address a lot further away was being driven to first, and by the time it took to return to town, our food was cold. The solution offered was that I would reheat the burgers, and they would send out fresh chips, on priority order, would credit the price of the burgers to my address, and I'd claim by ordering directly from the restaurant a later date. The "priority" order, arrived 45 minutes later.... 12 days later I called the restaurant to claim the free burgers, to be told no entry made in their book about it. The female manager spoke to her colleagues, and nobody could recall the order or the calls I made. Very odd. The female manager told me that as there was no record of my complaint, they couldn't reward me the credit I was promised 12 days earlier on the 16th of October, and was only, as a "Good will gesture ", willing to offer 20% discount of today's order, which I found insulting, I declined, saying I'd rather leave a really bad review. It is not my fault that the entry of the complaint and the solution offered was not in their book, and instead of an issue being resolved satisfactory, I now have had 2 experiences of appalling customer service from this restaurant. We have been regular customers, but I will definitely not order from this restaurant, Burger Now or Sushi Now, which is run by the same people, again. Shame, as the food has usually been tasty, but when it comes to customer service, a lot is missing. For the sake of the cost of 2 burgers, they have lost a customer. Very disappointed in the level of customer service.

OMG . I can honestly say that they were the best burgers and fries we have had . In a veryyyyyyy long time . Outstanding. Would definitely recommend

Awful food and customer experience! Loaded fries had a dubious meat which was meant to be bacon and it tasted awful. Restaurant refuted complaint saying it looked ‘normal’

burgers are impressive in size but slighty expensive for takeaway only prices, loaded fries always see to be made first and go cold quickly whereas burgers are packages so well they stay warm but buns usually go soggy

After ordering from here many times in the past, and received good quality food, this will no longer be on our wish list. The food was late for the second time running, cold and dry. However this was not a surprise after being told our food was on it’s way at 8.55pm, only for it to arrive at 9.22pm. In between these times I spoke directly with there receptionist at 9.17pm who confirmed the order had only just left their premises which is a two minute drive from our house. When the gentlemen that was delivering the food arrived, I challenged him and asked where he had come from, and that our food was hot!. He gave a very nervous reply, and was clearly lying on behalf of his employer. I’m not one to ever leave a bad reviews, quite the opposite actually. But given that they are now closed, and I cannot return the food for a full refund, this is the next best option. Burger now, I’m not sure what has happened to you guys in recent months, but you seem to have lost the core values that had given you such a good name in the first place. I think you need to go back to the basics if you wish to continue at this level. I paid nearly £40 this evening for our family meal, when I could have got better quality from McDonald’s for less than half the price. Kind regards Terry, A very dissatisfied customer.

We ordered take away for a family of 5, costing £70, the food took about 1 hour 10 mins to arrive at which point it was all stone cold, quickly microwaved to put some heat into it, the butter milk chicken burgers were dry and tasteless, the beef burgers were very greasy and were also tasteless, the fries seemed like they had been fried about 4 times, all In all very dissatisfied, will never order from here again

Fries were so salty they were inedible. Chicken burger was the same. Cheeseburger was so greasy it kept falling out from the buns, and there was so much sauce I couldn’t even find the cheese. Terrible. We’re shocked at how bad this is. Please avoid.

I really don't know how this place gets such good reviews! But based on those reviews we thought we would give it a try. We ordered two burgers, chicken strips, cheese and bacon fries and regular fries. Ordering via the app was fine, although the discount code didn't work. Food was ready within the time advised so, all good so far... We took the food home, opened it up and the burgers LOOKED great. The cheese and bacon fries and regular fries however didn't look quite so appealing. This aside, we dug into our food... one bite...the taste, texture and look of the burgers was awful. The paty just tasted of grease and looked like pressed cat food. The chicken was very overcooked too. The fries were worse, as if they had been fries in week old oil. When I called to give feedback I was met with a wall of arrogance and an accusation that I had already eaten the food and was trying to 'pull a fast one'. I was told to take the food back in to 'prove' that I hadn't eaten the food... I did this and to be fair, they gave me a full refund but will not be going back.

We ordered take away from the website. The burgers and chips were delicious and the delivery was quick and easy. This is our second time ordering and we will definitely be ordering again.

I ordered Stack burger,sweet potato fries,New York dog and bacon cheese fries. The hot dog didn't have gherkins, the fries were not good, was it old.
