Burger King in Wokingham

Order screen didn’t work after inputting my order 5 times and when you’re doing 6 different meals takes a while . Then went to the counter to order they then said they had to reboot the system . Then to serve another customer that came in a long time after us before us 🙁, overall waiting time was 40 minutes just to place the order , then to be told they would give us some complimentary items which never appeared, Top it all off cold food Avoid using this place

This Burger King is the worst I’ve ever been too. My mum ordered food for my children to take away and was missing 6 chicken nuggets and a burger when I went in to say they was missing all they did was show me a photo of her order and wouldn’t give a replacement! Absolutely disgusting. Do not order from here! Rude and can’t do their jobs properly.

Everytime we go there, the workers can’t do their simple job and get the order wrong. As soon as I heard the ladies voice on the intercom I knew it would go wrong. I asked for no lettuce and she started removing random things that I hadn’t mentioned. I clarified exactly what I wanted, and then after we received our order they managed to get EVERYTHING wrong. No bacon in the bacon & chicken sandwich- AKA one of the TWO simple ingredients. And then removed sauce and cheese instead of the lettuce that I asked to be removed. Honestly the worst drive through business in the area, the managers really need to micromanage these terrible workers.

Still suffering from the food poisoning. All I can say is the 2 chicken royales smelt the same when as when they I ate them. Never again.

Worst ever place.never have any food and if they do it comes out stone cold and a completely different order.everything is now self service but they don’t do anything when machines go down.dont get why the place is still running.

Where do I start….place was filthy. Toilets….well disgusting and definitely not been cleaned in a long time. The ladies smelt like a urinal. The toilets need ripping out and redoing as grime is ingrained everywhere. Ordering was painful, took ages to be done and when we sat down over 50% of the order was incorrect. My other half’s burger was so dry with a tiny dollop of ketchup. Spoke to the staff and explained what was incorrect there was no apology made to feel like a nuisance. We left our food and walked out. Will never return or order anything again

Don't listen to these reviews, I've been here about 6 times and every time food was hot, tasty and correct order. Staff are friendly.

The service was terrible and the tables were so sticky, when I finally got my food, it was dry and cold, I’ve had better burgers. I would not recommend.

Shocking. Found a frozen chip in my 5 years olds meal, food took forever to come. It was filthy. Bins overflowing. It was just terrible. I let that go, now I have just got a parking ticket through the door for spending 75 minutes in their 60 minute parking zone.... Unbelievable money making and quite frankly feels like a scam - 3 kids to chomp their food and then go back for ixe cream, yes it does take 75 minutes..

Avoided this Burger King like the plague for many years, but decided to give it another chance after the refurb. All the self service points weren’t working, but no signs on them to tell anyone this, so people are just stood there for ages trying to work out what’s wrong. Ordered mine and my partners food… asked them to read it back to make sure it’s correct. Read back was correct, when it came it was all wrong. Burger was stone cold, I couldn’t eat it. The buns were like frisbees! Literally so dry and stale you couldn’t swallow them. The chips were all cold and tasted like they’d been sat out for hours. The onion rings were the only edible bit! I went to sit down and slipped in something that resembled gel all over the floor at one of their tables. Then realised after I sat back that there was ketchup and old food stuck along the side of the table… now stuck all over my clothes. Absolutely disgusting place… the food and the ‘refurbed’ premises.. What’s that saying…. You can’t polish a turd right?! Avoid… spend your money elsewhere!

The food was really good worth the wait time (took 15-20 minutes but what do you expect on a Saturday lunchtime) the staff were really nice to be considering I am a 12 year old boy and they could of gave me nothing of what I ordered. I don’t know what people mean about “it’s such a long wait time” what do you expect with only 1 main fast food restaurant in Wokingham it’s bound to be popular. The main times to go are on a weekday if you still go to school (or if you have a late lunch break at work) it’s a really good time to go me and my mates walked in there and no one was there for our food it took about 30 seconds I’m not joking the meal my other friend got was different it took only 2-3 minutes but that’s a really good time for a double bacon cheese burger medium fries and a medium fizzy drink. There’s only been 1 time Burger King messed up my order and it was when I ordered myself a small fizzy drink and they gave me a capri sun I wasn’t too fussed but the staff was really nice to me they apologised,gave me my money back and gave me a large cup so I could get a fizzy drink. I recommend this restaurant to bits but it’s best to go on a week day.

Girl on the drive thru was so rude everytime I was asking people in my car what they wanted she shouted ‘hello? What do you want? Hello?’ Down the headset. She then gave me the wrong order and when I went back in to correct it she was extremely rude telling me that she read my order back and I was ignoring her and getting volatile and aggressive towards me when me and her colleague were trying to figure it out. She ended up throwing my food down on the counter and storming away. Her colleagues and manager were very helpful in rectifying the situation.

Never again! There is no managment and staff 5-6 people just don't know waht to do! Very dirty place,noone even probably cleaned for all day! Ordered Vegan Royal with bacon and cheese and relieved just 1 patty with bread,I even not sure that it was vegan mayo.

Slow "fast food". Order via the painfully slow app, give plenty of notice, arrive at the "restaurant" and still wait ages. The screen which is supposed to inform whats being prepared and whats ready doesn't work. Then when the food is ready, its cold ! Not convinced burgers here see a flame ....

Ordered a Whopper meal only to be told they had no fries or fizzy drinks, the best they could offer was onion rings and a Capri Sun. No thanks. Had the burger by itself which was lukewarm and not worth anything like £5.99. Very poor experience and won't be back again. Very disappointing.

Currently drive thru only. The restaurant is currently being refurbished. Many would say, correctly, this is long overdue. This service is indifferent and customer presence seems to surprise staff. Perhaps the staff need to be refurbished too.

Not happy with this Resturant at all. The floors dont look like they have been mopped let alone sweeped in weeks. Toilets are filthy to the point where the toilets arent clean enough to sit on. Very unhappy with our visit. Wont happen again.

Came to Burger King for the first time today, me mother and I both ordered a halloumi burger as it was recommended to me by a friend. Service was prompt however, upon driving away and going to pick out the lettuce I noticed there was roughly 5 pieces of bacon in my burger. My mother had the same in hers too. Being both vegetarian we were naturally mortified and went back to get a change. The manager tried to convince us that this was our own mistake (why would we order bacon on a vegetarian burger?) and was reluctant to give a refund (offered us £1 at the most). We informed him many times that this was not our mistake and that we both can not eat meat. Upon returning home having now eaten our replacement burger. I looked online only to find that the halloumi burger is cooked in the same oils as chicken and fish. We are both absolutely mortified. This wasn’t made clear to us at ordering and the manager did not inform us about it at all. Having worked in restaurants myself, I know how important cross contamination is and I know it’s hard having to deal with complaints however, this was handled incredibly unprofessionally and judging by other reviews of this place - this isn’t a one off. Please be aware.
